Going Into the World!

On the waves of the IMF.

It was just two weeks after the contract was finalized and all the details of the merger were finalized.

Microsoft headquarters was in Seattle, so they decided to get some of the MS-owned buildings in Silicon Valley first.

But now I'm on vacation, and I'm going to Seattle for a month or two to do a good transfer of search engines and education, and then a few technicians are supposed to come here, and I'm going to stay until I integrate the two services and get them running in unison.

The company has set up a separate office for me at Seattle headquarters, so I can come work any time on days or weekends when I'm away from school.

I told Jefferson and Tiffany about the merger first and the rest of the part-time staff.

Jefferson and Tiffany decided to keep the consolation money separate instead of helping me during the two-month handover. Tiffany felt sorry for him, but he understood that this is not the first time. Rather, Thomas was more disappointed.

The company was getting a little attention here in Silicon Valley, although it wasn't that big, because it had a huge number of visitors in a short period of time.

In a week, several venture companies have emerged and closed, but websites with 300,000 visitors a month, and not many have achieved that in just a few months.

Of course, the full acquisition of Microsoft appeared in the newspaper, probably related to Microsoft, and apparently in the Seattle Times, the LA Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper came up with quite detailed information about my name and biographical history, as well as about the approximate merger in other parts of the country.

“Jennifer, isn't this John's company?” Jennifer's father, Nick Davis, was familiar with reading the morning paper.

“Yes, what? ”

“Uh, a company called OneClickTrip was sold to Microsoft, but didn't your boyfriend John make this? ”

“Wait a minute, yeah. Yeah, John called from Microsoft and said he was worried. What's it say?” Of course Jennifer, who was interested, asked her father.

“I can't get into the details. Wow! I'm a freshman at university. This guy's better than I thought! ”

In fact, Jennifer's father had no idea John was such a hotshot. Jennifer and I were initially shocked by the fact that boys were Asian, but she was more likely to study well and be smart.

The last time I saw her at the graduation ceremony, she was tall and confident, so I didn't want to object to meeting Jennifer. Not all boyfriends get married, but I simply thought there was no need to worry in advance.

Over time, Jennifer's story has become more frequent, and she recently thought that her business has been doing very well and that she is on the side of my boyfriend when she talks about being rich.

Ventures that say it's a long day, how good can it be? I wanted to do more than that.

Of course, it was a service that my daughter's boyfriend created, so I went in and looked at it a few times, but I just thought, I'm not very familiar with computers, I'm just vaguely okay.

‘Huh! I guess this guy is still me. It was in the newspapers for a kid. How much did you make?’ Nick had a different idea.

“Dad, I told you. How great is John? Heehee ~” Jennifer felt better as if her father had won the award after praising John.

“I don't know, but now I can play and eat for the rest of my life. Heheh. Last time I told you, when you graduate, you'll do another business. ”

Jennifer was excited when her father showed his deep interest in John and told him things like that.

Nick also listened seriously to Jennifer for the first time, and as a worker at the company, he couldn't help but pay attention to the business story, and was more curious about her boyfriend.

Ildu's story soon spread to societies. The identity of an undergraduate student, which is also a huge success in the first grade of university, has appeared in numerous major US daily newspapers, especially in the L.A. area.

As soon as an article in the LA Times appeared, not only in the LAhan newspaper, which had already interviewed once, but also in several other places, they were asked how they got their phone number, and they said they would do the interview first.

There are not many nutrients, but once I responded to them, it was not easy either.

< Silicon Valley miracle! >

< Fun Student Venture Awesome! >

< Make hundreds of billions with ventures >

It was on the first page with a competitive headline, and he called his father to see if he had seen his father's friend.

Most of the major newspapers in South Korea have U.S. correspondents, and, of course, these articles are not necessarily buried.

A day later, several newspapers asked for an interview. I couldn't meet all the journalists in the newspaper, but I responded by phone because I still had nothing good to do with them.

The D-Ilbo was called by Jo Jin-hyuk, instead of the correspondent, but apparently he was going to write a more detailed article.

South Korea has been having a really tough time since the IMF, so finding promising articles has been a trend. Since my success was a pleasant pleasure in the grim economic reality, Jo Jinhyuk reporter finally came to America to interview me.

< Korean undergraduates stand out in Silicon Valley! >

< Bill Gates is a brilliant entrepreneur! >

< 18 Billion Years of Age Students in a Year >

< Korean in Silicon Valley, decorated with America's main newspaper! >

Journalists. After a few days, my story was decorated with a more stimulating headline.

It was also a bit vacuous, so I thought I'd inflate it for the people who already have Bill Gates' equivalents. They're popcorn experts, after all.

Ildu's mom couldn't stop laughing for days. His story is published in major newspapers, especially Dong-a Ilbo, where everyone congratulates him, his relatives, in-laws, and the village he sells to.

‘Hohoho, thank you so much. It's not that great. Yes, yes. Ever since I was a kid, things have been different. Who knew this was gonna happen? Hoho. ”

I haven't had enough pride in this town to boast about my son, but I haven't had much to boast about in a while. What's the big deal?

Whether the influence of the top four newspapers was really great, everyone called and released compliments on their mouths. They all seem to be getting along with each other, saying that they have succeeded greatly.

“Hahaha. Thank you. Really? Hahaha.” My father had to spend some time with his ears stuck in his mouth.

The IMF was shaking the country in a state of colossal oil. Even the last attempt to prevent the crash was futile, and after applying for bailouts, the president and president-elect were caught up in a ridiculous situation where they had to save money on the word of U.S. vice minister of finance David Lipton.

Since then, until this summer, companies that could not even be built in Korea, Hana Group, Geopyeong and Nasan Group were instantly bankrupt.

Too many companies collapsed like a typhoon at the same time, causing a flood of unemployed people on the streets, and all the people died, but the surviving companies pushed the celebrities away as helpless workers in the name of restructuring.

The bank interest rate rose 20 percent early, making it difficult to get money like water in a drought. The rich were fine, but the people were lost hope and shaking.

In '98, the newly inaugurated president and Chungwa Dae were coordinating policies in major newspapers to regularly publish hopeful articles for the people, when they came to see Kim Il-du's article.

“Hello, Kim Sung-il works there.” Someone called the company guidance department.

“Yes, Kim Sung-il? What department are you in? ”

“Oh, I don't know about that. Why don't you look it up? His name is Kim Il-du. “

“Yes? A son?” The telephone operator is baffled by questions that do not go back and forth.

‘No, I don't know which department, but his son is Kim Il Doo? How do you know it's me or Eadu?’ The phone operator laughed in a big panic.

“I'm sorry, can you find out which department first and call? Our company doesn't have one or two employees..." The annoyed phone operator just tried to hang up.

“Hey. Oh, my God. This is the Blue House. You'll know soon enough if you try the computer. Let's not complicate things. ”

The operator was frustrated by the oppressive tone and the word ‘Cheongwa Dae’.

“Yes?! Yes, I understand.” I returned the call to the secretarial office in a hurry, just in case.

Director Kim Sung-il went to work in the morning after straightening his shoulders. Since the story of Ildu's son was in the newspaper, the story spread not only to the same department, but to other departments, to motivate and congratulate his subordinates, and he was shrugging because people were calling him from above, and as soon as he came in after lunch today, the chief ran to him.

“Director Kim!” Seeing the chief of sheep making a fuss, he must have some other information.

“How old is this guy? Tsk, tsk. ”

“That's not it. The boss is looking for you!”

“Ms. Grant? ”

It's not the midnight flutter. The company is a class society, so if you're in the military, shouldn't you be at least three stars? The summoning of the three stars shook my heart.

“Why? What happened?” I didn't do anything wrong, but Director Kim's voice is getting louder.

“How should I know? Your boss went to see you earlier. Hurry up and go!”

Director Kim ran to Shimmering Zhang, who was called to the CEO's office as a guide.

“You're the boss, right?” General Manager Jang asks his assistant.

“Yes, please go inside." The secretary, who checked inside, opened the door.

“Oh, yeah. You must be Manager Kim Sung-il. Yeah, I remember seeing you at the annual meeting a few times. You can go now, Commerce Jang.” The boss greets Director Kim generously.

What do you want to talk about? Jung, who wanted to hear it, was kicked out.

“Yes, I'm Manager Kim Sung-il. But what am I supposed to do?”

The boss didn't immediately answer and asked me about my work life. Is there any inconvenience, or do you want to discuss it separately? Kim was sweaty because he didn't know the question.

“Not only that, but your son, Kim Il-du? You have a great son, right? Hahaha.” Let's start with a nice story.

“I got a call from Cheongwa University this time, and they want to meet your son. ”

“Yes?! At the Blue House?”

I knew my son was a great man, but I was surprised that the only president in the country could not find his son. My heart is pounding.

“Yes, your son is going to Stanford, and he wants you to come on this vacation. Oh, I'm familiar with Microsoft and Venture. Still, the President is calling, so you'll have time soon. ”

I checked the phone from the Cheongwa University in the secretarial room, and it really was the Cheongwa University. I contacted the president at the secretarial office where I found out who Buryburia Kim Sung-il was, and I called Director Kim Sung-il.

During the time of this sword wind at the beginning of the regime, he called Director Kim Sung-il himself because he wanted to grab the Shin government and a little rope.

The president heard that Kim Sung-il is a loyal person who has worked for the company for a long time, and it would be beneficial if he put it to good use. I just saw an article about his son, but I had no idea he was the son of a subordinate.

Director Kim left his office trembling with the President's hospitality and the proposition "Call of the Chungwa University," and later had to be called to Senior Minister Jang to repeat the conversation inside.

When Ildu was busy before the merger and office, a call came from his father. My slightly excited father said he wanted to meet me at the Cheongwa University without explanation.

I listened quietly and saw a detailed article about me that the president was interested in. He asked me when it would be good, and I was already on vacation, but I can't stop him from calling me, and I told him to make an appointment any time after a week.

‘What the hell am I supposed to say? But I'm meeting with the president of a country... "

I thought about what the bear would say when I met her, and I thought about what opportunities I could use.

Do you have anything you want to say or ask me? ’

Usually when you meet high people, you talk like you're about to hear something. Wouldn't that be the case again?

After much thought, I called Richard.

“Oh, yeah. John, what's going on?” Nice to meet you, too.

“I have a favor to ask you. Actually, this time I'm... I want you to find out. ”

“Really? Haha. If I'm good at this, you owe me one. You know?” Richard grins as if he's caught a weakness.

“Kmm. Okay. See if you can find out. ”

Lee Kyu-Sun's Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs was distracted by a wave swept by the IMF with Lee Heung-jae's director of finance.

After several financial reliefs, he sighed for at least $3 billion.

I always felt sorry for the reality that I had to get interference from the Americans, but I had to just work in the reality that I had to.

At first, I was in charge of the conversation with the United States, but most things have been happening in the line of work lately.

“Minister, it's the US Secretary of Finance calling. ”

“Really? Put me on the phone!” David, the vice minister of finance, has made a few face-to-face contacts in the meantime. I later thought I left a good impression because I cared about warmth, and I was about to add it to my network, so I picked up the phone quickly.

“Yes, I changed my phone. This is Lee Gyu Seon.”

“Oh, hello. Haha. It's no different. I have a favor to ask. Haha.”

After hanging up the phone, Lee Gyu Seon looked a little confused. I've been on the phone for a long time, so I'm pretty nervous, and all of a sudden I'm talking about the military! Patience.

"The US Secretary of Finance is calling and asking me to waive the army." Haha. This is ridiculous. You think this is what America needs? ’The more I thought about it, the more I felt empty for a while.
