Chapter 20. Jiang Wu.

'Destiny?'

Due to the sudden exclamation on the old man, many people who were present there got surprised, as it the first time they heard him speak. Even when the long neck couple were shouting at him, he remained quiet.

All of them turned their heads to look at the newly appeared child who stood between the bickering couple and the old man.

"Wow, what a cute child." A young woman in her twenties said as she looked towards Mu Shen.

One thing to know was that Mu Shen usually does not go outside of his clan too much, even when he went outside it would usually be to the Edge of the Qian Beast forest or to fight a certain fat Kid.

There was a certain kind of charm inside Mu Shen that was attracting others towards him like a magnet, maybe it was because of his Bloodline or the Godly Orb. The violet mark between the brows sometimes shined like a Gem under the sun.

"Hey little kid, are you lost? Come here let this big sister help you." Another Middle aged woman moved by the motherly instinct came forward to help Mu Shen.

As for Mu Shen, he just stood there and didn't talk for a while. He was thinking of what the Old man just said.

'Destiny? What is this Old man talking about? Can he see me? But seeing all these rare items in front of him, he wouldn't be a simple character.' He thought while looking towards the Old man as he decided what to do.

"Old Sir, I want to buy all these items in your possession. Would you come with me to that restaurant?" Mu Shen said towards the old man, as he knew that this is not the place to talk.

Seeing Mu Shen willing to buy all these items many people surrounding the old many wanted to say something, but they felt a threatening gaze from somewhere which send the shivers down their spine, and they stop what they wanted to say.

"Hey Brat, don't you see that we are here first to buy these items, where are your manners. Did your parents didn't taught you how to respect elders, hurry up run away from here. Truly a child of a commoner." The long-necked lady saw that the attention she was gaining diminished and she felt jealous, Jealous of a seven-year-old kid. So seeing the opportunity she scolded Mu Shen.

Everyone present there looked towards the lady as if seeing an idiot.

'Do you think that he could be the child of a commoner are you an idiot, can't you see the Nobel clothes he is wearing.' Everyone present there thought.

Meanwhile, Mu Shen saw the old man nod towards him and started collecting all the stones and other strange things inside a cloth bag.

"You brat…" seeing the boy ignoring her, she felt ashamed and wanted to scold again.

"Shut up, bitch." a loud shout came from the back of the crowd which shocked everyone present there, they turned to look towards the source of the sound and found a couple of Old men who were following a young Women in her mid-twenties respectfully.

The newly arrived young women has very attractive figure like a fox, wearing a red coloured cheongsam which gently hugged her while showing the S-shaped curves of her body, this woman can truly be called a witch just because of the Raw seduction and appeal that came just by looking at her.

The only thing that made people stop looking at her was her dangerous smile that held a warning for everyone present there. .

"You…" just when long-necked women was about to retaliate she quickly swallowed her words when she saw who scolded her.

"Patriarch Feng?" it was Mu Shen who called towards the women.

"Hello, little master Shen. What are you doing here all alone." When the women heard her name called, her smile instantly became larger as her face brightened up and she excitedly came towards Mu Shen intending to pick him up.

It was obvious to him what she was going to do so he instantly dodged to the side.

"Hurry up Old man." He urged the Old man to hurry up.

"Ohh, then Let Big Sister accompany young master on his business." Patriarch Feng didn't give up as she asked to accompany him.

The reason he was so patient with the Patriarch Feng is that she was good friends with his mother and she regularly visited their clan to meet them a couple of times in a week.

She was also the Current Patriarch of the Feng clan, and a Houtian Rank Powerhouse.

Seeing Mu Shen alone inside the market, she easily figured out that he may have sneaked out of clan alone and as a friend to his mother she must protect him and safely deliver him back to the clan.

"Ok, let's go." The old man said as he had already packed all the things.

Without wasting any time Mu Shen took one of Old man's arm and ran towards the Mu Clan Medicine Shop as the Old man followed him closely. Leaving behind smiling Feng clan patriarch.

"You all go back to the Clan, I will go to the Mu Clan to see Xueyan." Feng patriarch said to the people following her as she also moved towards the Mu Clan, without waiting for any response from the Clan members.

"Sigh…Let's go back." An Old man sighed as he instructed everyone.

"Let me officially introduce myself Old man, I am Mu Shen. Son of Bai Jun and Mu Xueyan, Grandson of Mu Xuan and Hua Mei. I like exploring and creating things and I love treasures." Mu Shen introduced himself which was a very childish introduction if you consider his past age.

"Haha..." The old man who sat across him laughed lightly hearing the introduction.

"Hello, Little Mu Shen. I am Jiang Wu." His introduction was very small and polite.

"So what was that Destiny thing you said when we met earlier" Mu Shen directly asked, "and can you see." He again asked while waving his small hands in front of the old man.

For Mu Shen who sometimes quite enjoyed acting like a child, it wasn't a problem for him to do so here.

"Yes, I can see but not too far and about destiny, there is a branch inside the cultivation world who use divination to see the future. Mu Shen just listened silently as he looked at the Old man directly into his eyes to see if the Old man is speaking the truth.

"Can, I know what kind of help you are talking about." Mu Shen asked after he found no change in the expression of the Old Man.

Jiang Wu smiled lightly as he started speaking.

"I am also not sure what kind of help I can get, as divination will only tell me to go towards a certain place to meet the destiny I am looking for."

"But if you ask what's the most important help that I need right now then it would be, to be able to heal my Dantian and eyes." He spoke slowly as a sense of desperation could be heard inside his voice, as he looked towards Mu Shen with the eyes full of expectation.

Jiang Wu offered many things but what interested Mu Shen the most was the things in the possession of the old man and the Sect token.

Jiang Wu wasn't sure how to answer this question but he still nodded his head, which made Mu Shen little exited.

If he helped Old man heal his dantian, wouldn't he get a powerful Martial King as support?

"I can help you heal, but I need your support to protect me and my family in backwaters." Mu Shen stated it plainly without hiding anything.

"If you could heal me, I promise that not only in backwaters, even in higher-tiered empire I would support you and help you as long as I can." Jiang Wu hurriedly accepted the terms as he was ready to do anything as long as someone could heal him.

"Ok, so first thing in need you to do is to take a Heavenly Oath. That whatever happens here will remain secret between us until I decide to reveal it to others. Second thing is to take a second oath to protect me and my family in backwaters after I healed you." Mu Shen stated as he was not ready to take any chances, who knows what could happen.

Jiang Wu also understood the fact's that they aren't related to each other and if Mu Shen can help him then it would only be called a miracle and that type of miracle should remain secret.

He knows how many alchemist and physicians he had seen in the past 10 year's. All of them were powerful and knowledgeable in their field but none were able to help himself in this situation. Which clearly shows if he gets healed here, it would be a miracle.
