He walked around the city and came as far as a strip lined with upper-class dwellings.

Eileen points to a mansion a little further away.

"Hey Will, isn't that Count Goldart's mansion?

Seeing it, the mansion certainly had a large lot and a splendid gatekeeper compared to the surrounding dwellings.

It's not even huge because it's in a small city, but it's obvious that it's several times the size of the property compared to the common people's dwellings.

"Oh, probably that one. - Okay, I'm just gonna go. Irene and I need you to wait here."

"What, are you waiting...? Don't I have to go?

"Eileen's presence is necessary when entering, but it's a reconnaissance first"

When I tell Irene to wait, as well as the other three who accompany her, I cast a perceived alienation (sensible) spell myself.

And with the effect of the spell, I walked up to near the mansion of interest.

As I told Irene, the first thing to do is reconnaissance.

Counts Goldart and Alice should not have noticed our presence yet.

Once a direct approach has been set up, the other party will be aware of this presence and will exercise vigilance and countermeasures, but so far we are outside their cognition, and if so, we are now in this private arena.

Now that I had come near the residence, thinking of Count Goldart's mansion, I saw two strong gatekeepers in front of the gate, standing with spears in their hands.

The gatekeepers don't seem to pay particular attention to my presence when they come near the mansion.

It has the effect of an epistemological alienation (sensible) spell, which makes it difficult to do otherwise.

Looking at the structure of the mansion, the entire site was surrounded by stone walls nearly three metres high, and a strict defensive attitude was asked.

I don't even know if that stone wall can climb if Mi can, but at least it's impossible for me to climb that one, and it's a height that I can't reach over the wall by jumping at all costs.

Well, I'm going to cast one spell right here.

It's a spell called Magic Sense.

And with the effect of a spell, view the space on the premises on the stone walls of the mansion.

"... are you still on alert (alert)? It's normal, but be careful."

On the premises of the mansion, not so much to cover the whole area, but a red hemispherical membrane of magic could be seen stretched to cover a considerable area.

The Magic Sensing (Sense Magic) spell I used is a spell that allows me to "see" the magic working within my sight.

The magic will become a translucent red glow that will be reflected in the operator's vision.

The hemispherical magic in my sight right now is probably the magic of a vigilant (alert) spell put up by Alice, the court magician in the mansion.

I'm guessing that means Alice is constantly using alert (alert) spells and sensing intruders into the mansion while she's at the mansion.

But a vigilance (alert) spell should react to everyone entering and leaving the mansion, including servants and others.

Daily life shouldn't be "loud" when you do it from time to time, but what a cautious story to do that nonetheless.

But now, one thing has become definitive.

That means Alice is currently inside that mansion.

The sensing membrane of the alert spell is formed in a spherical fashion centered around the operator.

The effect radius can be narrowed down and used, and it seems that Alice is currently using it, but the point of spherical formation of the surgeon center cannot be moved.

So having the magical light of vigilance (alert) over there would mean that the operator is currently inside this mansion.

That's exactly what I wanted to know.

That's what I wanted to know if Alice was currently in the mansion.

Well, now we have the minimum amount of information we currently need to acquire.

Now that you can go home, it's a corner, so let's see what the court magician looks like.

It is also possible that Count Goldart employs a magician other than Alice, and the pattern is that the person uses vigilance (an alert).

I wouldn't have crossed it to keep an eye on it.

When I cast a clairvoyant spell, I checked the interior structure of Count Goldart's hall.

And...

"Is that Alice Flamelia?"

I found the person I was looking for.

He writes in a room on the third floor of the mansion.

I'm pretty sure she's Alice because it matches the appearance traits I heard from a professor at the college in correspondence (contact).

This beauty is about twenty years old and features wavy red long hair.

The style is good from a distance, and the magician's robe he wears adds a large array to the design, making it easier to see the lines of the body or boldly slit from the waist.

Naturally, there is no way she realizes I exist.

I then checked with clairvoyance (see-through) to see the inner structure of the Count's mansion and other constituents, and when I completed the reconnaissance, Irene and the others returned.

"Welcome home, Will! How'd it go, what did you find out?

"Oh. I almost got the information I needed"

As Irene and the others greet me on the side of the road, I will continue to guide them on their way out of the luxury residential area.

Eileen comes next to it and asks questions.

"Um, I knew I was leaving...? Hey, Will, why aren't you going today?

"I'll teach you later. Let's take the inn today."

I took my client and his friends and walked down a nearly dark road to find this day's inn.
