Information on the oak raid was communicated promptly.

The warriors are gathered in the halls of the front line as they evacuate the defenceless elves to the rear of the cave.

An elf on the lookout standing at the entrance to the cave said he sensed the presence of the orcs in an alert (alert) spell.

Then visual confirmation with the naked eye.

The story was that as soon as he confirmed his oaky appearance between the distant trees, he immediately jumped into the cave and came to report.

The sensing membrane of the alert is tensioned fifty meters from the operator.

Because they are breaking through that line, there was little time for the orcs to break into the cave, and there was no time for operational meetings or anything.

"Thirteen oaks...... Squad class strength? This is not an insulting number, though it has a slightly higher number of fights. It is painful to force a total battle at this stage..."

Finola says with such a bitter look.

She was in the first hall, like an idea to intercept the orcs.

The number of orcs attacking is thirteen.

There are about twenty of us, including the four mercenaries.

It's not the kind of difference in power that can be easily suppressed by numbers alone.

Also in terms of the quality of the force, perhaps thirteen bodies would be a single unit, so there would also be a mix of orcs of the upper species as commander classes.

Naturally, this is a situation in which the good and bad tactics largely dictate the outcome.

Here's what Finola thinks, probably.

He hives with bows and magic the moment he shows up in the hall against the orcs that attack him by creeping through the narrow aisles.

So the policy was to do something about the leaked portion in the White Soldier War, and I certainly didn't think it would be a bad tactic if it fitted well.

But even if it's not a bad tactic, if you try it on me, there's no hand in not taking advantage of that terrain.

I make one suggestion to my employer, Finola.

"Finola, I want you two ahead of me and Satsuki."

"... So you have an idea. Okay, I'll take care of it."

Finola sent out an OK in two replies.

I guess it also helps that her daughter, Lefania, rated us as someone she can put her faith in.

I nodded towards Finola and took Satsuki's hand, which was nearby.

"Satsuki, I need your help"

"Uhh!?... ooh"

Satsuki blushed her cheeks and followed me so that I could pull her.

Uhm...... I don't know what it is, it's a little hard to do.

Either way, I'll take Satsuki to the hallway.

It leads to the entrance to the cave, and the oak is going to attack from there.

I'll give Satsuki an overview of what I'm thinking.

"I want to ask Satsuki to help stop the orcs in the avant-garde. You don't have to force it and destroy it. All you have to do is hold off the march of the enemy. And I want you to kneel down as soon as I give you a signal. Can you do it?"

"Oh, if that's about it, I'll take care of it. I don't really feel like a wall player is the right job for me, but I don't know if they're as good as an oak. Besides, if this narrow passage were to come at the same time as the orcs, it would be stuffed with cucumbers. One-on-one is an easy win."

"Okay, please. I'll be right behind Satsuki."

"Aurai."

Where Satsuki's agreement was reached, I asked Satsuki to stand at the end of the aisle and I set up a cane just behind her.

Then Satsuki in the back comes at me with only his face, and he runs weird.

"But don't freak out when you think Will's standing behind you"

"... why. I'm not gonna do anything."

"Well, I guess so, but you're going to be paranoid. I'm telling you, I'm not sure I can stay sane if something happens right now."

"I don't know what it is, do I?"

... I don't know, will Satsuki be okay?

I wonder what she means by "something," something that wouldn't have been established without the assumption that I'm an insane person who doesn't think about time and circumstances.

I trust Satsuki's arm, but there's something about this girl that makes me nervous sometimes.

Either way, I'm gonna get back on my mind and move on to my next move.

Spell chant to activate clairvoyance (see-through).

Just in case, we want to visually check the appearance and behavior of the enemy.

And when you activate magic, you exclude the wall from sight - the wall in the direction of the entrance to the cave.

Ahead, I saw the target.

As the elves on the lookout talked about, there were thirteen orcs trying to attack this cave.

That group of pig-faced giants is now near the entrance to the cave.

From what I've seen, it looks like a combination of nine common species, two leaders, one mage, and one general.

Naturally, it seemed that the top general class was in command, giving some instructions to the orcs under command at the entrance to the cave.

Eventually, the general class finishes the instruction.

And the orcs, wary of their surroundings, slowly broke into the cave.

It appears that the common species of oak preceded it and began exploring the cave with a leader and mage behind it and a general at the rear.

"─ Coming, Satsuki"

"Yeah, I got it."

In response to my warning, Satsuki pulls the knife out of her waist.

I also started chanting spells, waiting for the orcs to come through the cave.

─ ─ Eventually, the leading oak appeared about twenty meters ahead of our normal sight.
