“My lady, is this the legendary Divine crystal?”

Although she was almost sure that what Angel Julia condensing at the moment was divine crystal, Jenny still walked over and asked with respect and excitement.

Angel Julia put the freshly condensed small crystal of thumb size into the already prepared refined rune ball and said calmly, “You’re right, lady Jenny. This is the divine crystal with three strands of law of light, life and water.”

Jenny stood at the back, watched the smooth operation of Angel Julia and asked, “My lady, may I know how to cultivate the divine power?”

Angel Julia raised the soil, shaped them into fountain shape in her imagination, cast the transformation spell and transformed the shaped soil into marble.

After checking the detail, Angel Julia nodded in satisfaction and said sorrily, “Lady Jenny, I am going to disappoint you. It is not that I don’t wanna teach you how to become a demi-god. It is just I don’t know much about cultivation yet. All of my ability and power are innately inherited from our lord. Although I also possess a certain amount of knowledge mastered by our Lord father, I really don’t know how to cultivate the divine power.”

Just when Jenny was really disappointed and wanted to shift the conversation to something else, Angel Julia’s next words made her happy.

“But, I can ask these knowledge from our Lord. I am quite sure that Lord would also be happy to see the birth of a demi-god in his influence.”

“Thanks, my lady. I will be waiting for the good news. For now, it is already time to teach the children. I shall take my leave then.”

Jenny bowed and saluted Angel Julia before she headed to a small cabin house. The latter stretched her body a little bit and also happily went back to her small nest. She still got one last volume to finish the comic she was reading.

One of the small cabin house at the corner was transformed into a small classroom by Jenny when she found out that Violet had talent to be a mage like her daughter Flora.

It may be fate. Both of two little girls are extremely intelligence and smart. As everyone moved to the guild base to live, they first became roommates and then friends.

After Jenny tested talents of kids on a whim at the second day out of boredom, she found only one little girl among many children. That little girl was Violet. Moreover, Violet became roommate of her little girl Flora coincidentally.

Since she has to teach Flora about magic, Jenny decided to teach Violet together too. That’s how early morning class appeared.

Unfortunately, other children either have to be a normal person or have to step into the knight path of their dads. But knights are not necessary weaker than mages. Couple with deep background, walking the path of knights might not be a bad thing for them.

When Jenny walked into the small classroom, Violet and Flora were already there. The two little girls were teasing a small kitten which they kidnapped from a nearby rancher. It is just american short hair breed with black stripes on white background.

After watching Tom and Jerry cartoon last night, the two little guys got up early today and went to neighbor ranches to ask for their cat. Fortunately, they didn’t have to go out too far because their wish was fulfilled by the neighbor rancher whose ranch is just at the opposite.

Coincidentally, the neighbor Amish rancher’s mother cat gave birth to eight kittens in one litter two weeks ago. He thought that seven would be a lucky number but he didn’t want to kill a kitten just to get lucky number. Two weeks passed just like that and he couldn’t wait to give away one when he knew that two little girls wanted a kitten to adopt.

Although both sides got what they wished and they were happy, Jenny stared at the two girls and started to teach them not to run around with adult in a stern voice after knowing the whole story.

Just when the two little girls were listening to Jenny while lowering their heads as they knew their mistake, a group of men put down the gym equipment and started the sparring training session.

Soon, a few guys fell to the ground with cutting or stabbed wounds on their bodies. Several fighting technique instructors used primary wound cleansing spell with the help of rings on their fingers and gave each of them a small cup of water from the nearest water fountain.

After a moment of rest, their injuries were recovered and stood up straight again. They waited and watched the sparring on the side. It was until someone got injured and needed treatment again so they could get in these places again.

These rings are engraved with primary spell runes and one only needs to use them with voice command. Moreover, the spell consumes magic crystals embedded in the ring. The training is simply achieved by burning money.

Currently, there are only four instructors at the scene. They were Peter, Chester, Ben and Nick who was not expected by anyone.

There is no exact fighting style nor technique. The guys are only aiming to quickly eliminate the opponent. They are training with real swords and spears in order to get familiar with weapons and to get better experience.

Each attack is fast and ruthless. However, because their opponents are their own brothens, they would forcefully switch the target in the last moment. But even so, heavy injury is unavoidable. They also only dared to do this kind of seeking death training after they got fountain of life from Angel Julia.

The rule is also simple which is just to avoid deadly places like neck, heart and head.

The scene is so brutal that everyone else beside men are forbidden to come to training ground full of blood stains at the sparring time. The guys are also clear that they need to bleed more here to avoid the death in real battle.

After the sparring session, it is lunch. After lunch, it is another jogging time. After jogging time, it is shooting time. After shooting time, it is another gym session. At the end of gym session, the sun goes down and relaxing time of the day has started.

The guys go to take a shower quickly and they gather together to make barbecues for bonfire dinner party. This is also the time when everyone in the guild base meet and have a fun time together.

That is all about the usual days. Days like this passed fast again as everyone fell in the frenzy training.

One month has passed just like that unknowingly. Nobody bothered to go out during this period. The only thing they needed was just food and they were able to get it easily from nearby ranches.

But at the start of second week, Chester went out and brought back old pastor Billy from San Christobal’s Origin church. It might be the only time which the guild base got a visitor.

Pastor Billy was really surprised and amazed by the appearance of Angel and life springs in a small ranch not far away from the city. But he didn’t even ask a question about what he saw. After saying his thanks, he quietly went back to the city with some water of life in a crystal bottle with runes on it.

Although he got no follow-up news since he didn’t bother to go out, Chester sincerely wished that pastor Billy would recover from his injuries.

Finally at that day, August 4th of 1990, Washington radio channel has announced the important thing. It was a speech by Divor Frankling, Internal Affair Minister.

“NASA have now completely confirmed that the recently occurring frequent earthquakes are caused by the mysterious expansion of the earth. Citizens of United States of America Federation, please trust the government and stay turn. We have already put all of our military forces in level two preparation.

We are ready to face any external and internal threats which are going to threaten the stability of our federation and we believe that we can easily take care of them.

All of our folks only need to trust the ability of our government and live in peace. I believe that America will still be great even after this big crisis. I hope that ladies and gentlemen who are listening to this speech near the radio can also trust us. Thank you.”

That day is also the new starting point for Guardian Spirits guild.
