Until one day in their junior year

Israfel was invited to a friend's party and so as Maria. They decided to go together with his car.

It is a big party, almost everyone from their batch were invited. Dancing, singing, laughter and drinking.

Israfel is new to this kind of experience, he was overwhelmed. He got drank and didn't know what he is doing. Maria tried to speak to him but he avoided her, he wants to enjoy the night.

Girls are everywhere, every girl in that party are trying to get his attention. While Maria sits and watch him play with other girls.

Some boys are trying to get Maria's attention but she managed to avoid them all.

"I- I think we should go home now?" Maria is trying get a hold on Israel

"Hey.. just a little more time. Let's enjoy the party" Israfel

"Ouch!" Maria was pushed back by one of the girls trying to seduce Israfel

Maria stood up and walked fast away from Israfel and the girls.

Gerard, one of their classmates saw what happened to Maria. He helped her stand up and followed Maria in her sit.

He was trying to convince Maria to dance.

"Do you want to dance?" hopeful Gerard

"O-okay." Maria, giving Gerard a chance

Israfel saw Maria dancing with their classmate Gerard, he felt anger. He knew his eyes turns red, good thing the lights are off. He looked at the bonfire missing its fire then fired it up. Everyone was amused by the fire. Israfel wants to fire up another one when someone grab his head and kissed him on the lips.

Maria saw everything that happened. How that girl grabbed his head and kiss Israfel. She knows Israfel kissed her back too.

Maria walk past the two people kissing, everyone was shouting with what they are seeing. Maria felt really bad, she is hurting.

Israfel stopped kissing Andrea, their classmate, when suddenly she heard Marias heart beats slowed. He felt it, the sudden pain in her heart. He felt it.

His eyes turns to green looking for Maria and he saw her. Trying to open the gates. He followed her trying to grab her wrist.

"Don't touch me!" Maria shouted

Israfel still looking at her, he could still hear Maria's heartbeat. He can feel it, it's tearing up his heart. Israfel was confused, it's the first time he heard her heart beats that way. He was flustered when he saw a tear fell from Maria's eyes.

He touched his own heart, he felt a sharp pain. Looking at Maria crying, his tear fell. Still confused...

Israfel tried to hold Maria's hands but Maria shake it. He felt the pain again.

Confused with what he is feeling, he was really in fear... he felt like Maria is moving away from him. He felt like dying.

"P-Please..." Israfel is asking Maria to hold his hand

"No!" Maria shouted

He felt it again... sharp pain in his heart.

Still confused, he grabbed and embraced Maria then took off. In a split of a second they reached the forest.

Maria is feeling nauseous, scared, surprised by what happened.

"W-Who are you? " Maria, still scared

"It's me Maria" says Israfel

"I'm sorry if I scared you, I am so sorry if I hurt you" Israfel to Maria

"I- I was so scared back there, it felt like you're going to leave me" Israfel

Israfel tried to hold Maria, but Maria is still scared of him/

"W-Who are you? And how did you do that?" Scared and confused Maria

"I-I'm sorry if I didn't tell you." Israfel

"I was just scared that you will not accept me" Israfel

"W- What are you?" Maria

Israfel paused for a little while and decided to tell the truth.

"I am Israfel, son of Hades from the underworld and Parisa an Angel from the heavens" Israfel

"I'm sorry if I didn't tell you right away, it's just that I knew you wouldn't accept me even as a friend." Israfel explained.

"B-But Maria, I loved you since the first day I saw you in the forest that is why I followed you in the city. I tried to act normal like humans" Israfel explained

Maria was silent for about an hour... then she tried to talk again.

"I am not human" says Maria

"I- I know" Israfel

Maria looked at him surprisingly.

"I can smell you, I can feel your heart beats." Israfel

"Y- You knew?" Maria still surprise

"Yeah" Israfel

"B-But why?" Maria

"Because I like you... no, I love you" Israfel

"I can kill you" Maria again

"I know, you almost... a while ago. You almost made my heart stop beating" Israfel smiling

"I did, maybe that's why you did not die. You're not human" Maria, paused again.

"I liked you since freshmen days, it's just that you never asked me and I was scared that I might hurt you " Maria looking at Israfel

Israfel felt the change of her heart beats.. it turns back to normal.

Israfel came closer hold her and kissed her lips.

She kissed him back, she could feel their hearts beating fast. She is happy.

She felt it.

She stayed in his arms. Contented.

Israfel couldn't believe it that he actually owns the woman she loved for so many years.

He felt complete. He will never let go of her hand. Not today, not tomorrow.

The sun is about to shine, the wind is blowing, flowers are blooming. Israfel is really happy and he couldn't contain it.

Birds are singing, butterflies are flying around them... she could feel it, her heart is about to burst out from happiness.

Two different creatures from two different worlds found love in the human world. r
