Chapter 19 - Birth of Xiao Lingxi

With yet another pregnancy, Yun Long was wondering why it was taking so many damn chapters to even get past the age of 2, however he was truly concerned as he himself had no idea what effects the black lightning will have on his adopted mother.

'Will it bypass the Heavenly treasure?' Since it only makes one immortal, but not undying.

This was also the man reason why he demanded to his adopted father and the wet nurse that he will be by his adopted mother's side during the whole event.

It was already 8 hours into the child birth when finally, some progress seemed to have been made, and no visible signs showed that Hua Mei would suffer the same fate as she did with the original timeline, but this was actually due to him releasing his origin energy through the hands he held her with.

Towards the end when he noticed that he had been over worrying, he went to sleep in the next room, only to be awoken by the sounds of a baby's wailing.

Quickly he ran his little self over towards the room to see a scene he would never forget in his life or the next one. His adopted mother had a rosy blush, sweat covering her face, and yet that contented expression that was full of relief and gentleness just made Yun Long look at the scene with the most genuine smile he may have produced in his new life.

And everyone else who had turned their heads to the door which he practically kicked down, saw that scene and the atmosphere had gotten that much gentler, the first time the family had such a situation since the 'unfortunate passing' of their son and Daughter-in-Law.

Yun Long approached Lingxi and asked his adopted mother "Mother, can I carry her", to which she simply nodded and handed her to him, showing him how to hold her properly, although she 'chided' him by saying "Mommy told you not to call me mother, it seems to formal, *sniff*, it seems Long'er no longer loves mommy anymore" she started shedding her world famous crocodile tears.

Everyone else looked at the scene with amused smile when they noticed how Yun Long switched from paying all attention to his baby sis to panicking, trying to fix the 'misunderstanding' his mother had, even if he knew she was just playing around and it was extremely humiliating, but since it caused no other harm he never failed to partake in such banter with his adopted mother.

"NO mommy, Long'er loves you the most, you are my second favourite person in the world" When Long'er uttered the word second, Xiao Lie, the wet nurse and maids could've sworn a black miasma had entered the nursing room, when a voice as cold as the nine hells was heard "Se… Sec… Second…"

Hua Mei who looked like she had just been robbed of her family, her cultivation and anything of worth she valued in this world asked "Long'er, who… which hussy dared to seduce you into thinking they are your favourite person!!!" as the speech carried on Hua Mei's voice progressively got louder and everyone else had the urge to laugh at this scenario, but didn't want to annoy this Oni whilst she was in this situation.

"Mommy, what is a hussy, my favourite person in the world is my baby sis, mommy, will you let your Long'er name her, pretty please~" with his finishing move 'Art of the MOE' enlarging his eyes so that his starry eyes glitter, threatening to burst into tears if he doesn't get his way.

Seemed as if his self-created art worked as Hua Mei replied with a simple "Yes", however everyone else could hear her just mutter kawaii over and over again as if she was some crazy cultist, which in fact is true, she is the cult leader of Shota Xiao Long sect.

To finish his adopted mother of, he used another finisher, biting the end of his thumb with his mouth, he looked around with a curious and thoughtful expression, whilst his eyebrows were furrowed before he bumped his left fist into his palm and with a delighted expression he shouted

"Lingxi, her name will be Xiao Lingxi".

Hua Mei who was currently about to overdose on her daily dosage of Longium, heard the name a smiled gently "Mn, Mommy doesn't mind that you your favourite person is your baby sister, however Mommy has to be the one Long'er loves the most okay?" although she said this with a gentle smile, if the poor child didn't respond with a yes, it seemed as if he would go through terrors no sane man would want to have to tread through.

Fortunately, who was Yun Long, this was a man who had tempered his whole 16 months of experience in the usage of his killer Shota appearance, so he went up to his mother and delivered the critical hit and hugged her whilst burying his face on her divine melons, which seemed to have increased a profound realm itself after her pregnancy.

Before he ended her by shouting out "Long'er loves mommy the most, in the future, Long'er will fly on a big white horse, and take mommy away and live together forever and ever in happiness" Hua Mei had already fainted with a nosebleed, and her exhaustion from pregnancy.

Xiao Lie was shivering, thinking the chances that his adopted son has to green hat him were extremely high, not that he could do anything himself, if he were to intervene, he would more likely upset her even more, thus he will let Long'er outgrow the silly attachment his wife seems to have towards him.

February 9, X1981 Profound Year

It has already been 19 months since Xiao Lingxi birth, who has just started forming multiple word sentences, and had already been walking for a couple of months.

Xia Qingyue comes around during the weekends, with the Xia Clan having purchased a manor at a halfway point between the Xia Manor and Xiao Clan for Qingyue to stay at since she enjoys visiting the Xiao Clan compound, or it would be better to say Yun Long himself.

Xia Hongyi who had learnt of this just smiled and allowed the hands of fate to move however they decide to do so.

It was currently the third birthday of Young Master Xiao Long, however it only contained people Yun Long actually cared about, using his mental powers for such petty actions seemed a bit odd…

'Hmph... who cares, this daddy doesn't want these Xiao Clan farts to ruin my banquet'.

In attendance was Xiao Lie, Hua Mei, Xia Hongyi, Dongxue, Xia Qingyue, Xia Yuanba, Xiao Lingxi and the main participant Xiao (Yun) Long.

"Father, Mother, now that I am 3 years old, master has decided that he will take me out to start my cultivating" Yun Long dropped this nuke on his unexpected family and friends.
