Chapter 23 - Mu Xuanyin (1)

"Quickly stop, if you kill your future husband then how are you going to explain to Bing'er in the future"

Mu Xuanyin, whose patience had just about run out heard the name Bing'er and paused, confused, she wanted to ask just to clarify what was going on.

After all for him to be able to bypass the barrier that allows her to have total control of who enters the Heavenly Netherfrost Lake is dangerous, and she needed to understand the method so that she can remove this method in the future.

"Explain, do not test my patience any more child" she spoke in an ice-cold tone.

"Stop calling your Husband, I, a child!" Yun Long was screaming inside 'This daddy is 24 if you add my two lives up damnit!'

When he saw her charging up her power, he quickly started singing the right tune "Okay, Okay, if you wish to know the truth, you will have to come into my profound ark and visit the bottom of the Heavenly Netherfrost lake with me".

Mu Xuanyin stopped charging her power and finally saw that this situation was leading in the right direction "Hmph, this King can only dive 23,000 feet, and you dare boast in front of this King you can reach the bottom, are you mocking this King?"

"Huh, Yin'er are you not the complete inheritor of the Ice Phoenix? How can your understanding of the laws not even reach half of the lake?" questioned a smug Yun Long, trying to throw this hot chilly pepper as he thought 'Chilly, not chilli, since she has the temper of the flame realm females with her ice cultivation, hah... someone needs to beat me up for such a lame joke… Haiii'.

Whilst he was criticising his internal banter, Mu Xuanyin who completely shocked, this was a secret that not even the elders in the Divine Ice Phoenix Sect knew.

"This King is trying very hard not to eliminate you, do you know that one can have too much knowledge for their own good" she said with anger presiding in her tone, as she tried to misdirect him to give more information

Yun Long who was bored of her teasing just said "Do not attack, I'm summoning my profound ark" a

As soon as he finished, Vimana: Ark appeared at the size of a flying car in front of Mu Xuanyin, who was stunned, before he continued on speaking "Do not resist my summoning, your soul strength and profound cultivation are too high for me to bring you in if you resist".

Mu Xuanyin at first wanted to refute, however for some reason she had a subconscious feeling that no harm would come to her, so she decided to play along with this strange boy.

Once they had appeared in the Ark, Yun Long piloted it towards the bottom of the Heavenly Netherfrost Lake. Once out, he asked "Yin'er, are you able to come out or do you wish to stay in Vimana and watch".

To which Mu Xuanyin replied "Stop addressing this King with such disrespect, and this King shall carry on watching from your ark" she was wondering why she even went along with this idea.

Yun Long carried on walking till he found the light he was looking for, as he approached it, he could finally see the diamond shaped block of ice, 3 feet wide, 10 feet long, placed right in the central area of the Heavenly Netherfrost Lake's cold vein.

He finally saw the image of a young girl, floating within the ice, her body curled into a ball, she looked so defenceless that Yun Long was cursing whoever forced her to be here in such a pitiful state.

When he took a closer look at this girl, even though there was a feeling invading him telling him not to look any further and blaspheme her, he just ignored it.

However, what Yun Long was looking at mainly was the ill.u.s.trious white hair, that had a slight blue glow to it, out of all the hair colours a girl could have, he could positively say that white was his favourite.

Snapping out of his nonsense he went up towards the Ice Phoenix, laid his hands on the icy crystal prison and started infusing his origin energy towards it, and continued till around an hour later when the ice started to 'disappear'.

Another hour passed and Mu Xuanyin who was watching this scene was absolutely speechless, whilst she herself had an Ice Phoenix soul that was passed onto her, she had already learnt of her existence but to think she would find the actual Ice Phoenix in the flesh, a million years past the Age of Gods.

However, she too understood that there was no life aura or soul aura within the area, so whilst she was disappointed, she never had much hope in the first place as it would be the last thing she would think of presently, but once she saw the boy infuse a mysterious energy into the vein she just kept quiet and watched over what he was doing.

Once Yun Long had replaced the ice that was sealing her, replenishing her life force with his origin energy and connecting them, he finally spoke "How long do you plan to sleep Bing'er".

Mu Xuanyin was wondering what he was talking about, until she heard a voice she would never forget in this lifetime, the young girls voice was tenderly soft, pure and intangible as water.

"Bing'er… this name is interesting, however how are you able to achieve this child".

To which Yun Long just smiled "Aiya, Bing'er, I already told Yin'er that your husband I, am a not a child, I'm a big boy you know" at the end of his rascal statement, he smiled as wide as he could, trying to show off his pearly whites.

"Husband?... who are you, and why are you able to come here?"

Yun Long who had been in the mood to tease this true goddess, finally got a little serious and just stated "Mn, although I'd like to tease you both some more, I guess I should get to the point as I cannot stay here for long, for you to understand how I've pulled you out of your stasis, just think of it as me devouring the ice that had done that before and replacing it with a higher energy, which is why you currently have bodily functions, instead of having to communicate through the soul".
