Chapter 51 - How are you here? (First Tribulation)

Looking at Shen Xi whose soul was still in disarray, he just sighed

'To think that the appearance of the Evil Infant's Wheel would give her this much shock, not even the Sky Poison Pearl could incite much of a reaction' Yun Long thought

He sighed "Xi'er, as I said, things will not make sense till 20 years later, unless…" He didn't continue his sentence since he didn't wish to speak it into existence

"Xi'er, this is not the real version of the Evil Infant Wheel, it is just a copy my Master created for me"

Finally getting her out of her extreme shock, she sent an inquisitive look towards Yun Long, hoping for some answers, but alas, he just ignored her.

"Xi'er pay attention to the crack this time" as he used Babylon to summon all the treasures he wanted to stock up since he wouldn't be able to do it in the future unless it was life threatening, thus he decided to stock up baby!

(A/N: Reminder: He doesn't have Gate of Babylon as the main treasure, Gate of Babylon is just Yun Long's method of bringing his treasures out since he hasn't got access to the Infinite Origin Void Realm. The treasury is actually a separate entity within the realm, with the Miscellaneous Warehouse [early spoiler], and the Garden existing as three of the known components, Gate of Babylon was just a skill that allowed him access to those entities. Since he himself didn't know the limit of his Infinite Origin Void Realm, usually when he thinks of a treasure that he requires, his consciousness almost leads him to it, which is actually the Guardian Spirits doing)

After he took the items out and stored it within Vimana, which still have Coffin of Eternities he planned to use in the future and the ones in use at the moment, he placed all the medicinal goods within a c.h.e.s.t he had created previously which he granted the powers of the Sky Poison Pearl, preserving their medical properties, and another standard c.h.e.s.ts for the weapons, and other items he stored.

From this point the only times he would not use his fusing ability unless a situation out of his control occurs, and he would attempt to limit his use since it affected the Crimson Crack.

As he was spamming his fusion ability, Shen Xi watched the crack gradually increase a foot in its diameter, before Yun Long finished.

"Xi'er, you cannot last long out the Land of Samsara, I will be granting you temporary ownership of Vimana, if it takes too long then return with it and if I enter unconsciousness then I will be relying on you to bring me back to the Land of Samsara, which is more than likely to occur"

The current Yun Long actually had no idea what he was doing, since his Devouring constitution can refine the energy, he had a natural instinct that he gained from being the successor of the void that he could repair the crack in the void, however the current him no longer had the raw Devouring body, he had the newly formed cultivation physique he gained from creating his void core.

Which meant that if he were to try and refine the energy that could even harm True Gods, he is just asking to be killed (reset), which is why he followed the instinct that if he destroyed his profound veins, he would be able to refine the energy without worry.

What worried him the most is what will happen to his cultivation after he destroyed his veins, yet he couldn't think of such thoughts, after all, he still had his void core, he hoped that the Evil God veins would be able to connect to the Void core in the future.

"Xi'er I will start, when you see I am in a situation where death is imminent or when I have finished, use your thought to summon me into the Ark" as he finished talking, taking one last glance at Shen Xi's face, before destroying his profound veins.

Using the normal Vimana, he flew towards the crimson crack, however as soon as he got within a few hundred kilometres he had already started feeling a great suppression, a few thousand kilometres he was bleeding from his eyes and ears, and as he touched the void his body couldn't handle it anymore as it threatened to disintegrate.

Yun Long was confused 'Why… even after such a great sacrifice I still will not be able to fix this? What do I do at this moment… Haiii… Creator why did you even pick such a worthless successor?'

Shen Xi who saw the situation saw the despair on his face and it produced a slight feeling of discomfort in her heart, she too understood that something out of his calculations must have occurred for him to show such an expression, and with the way his body was looking she was planning to summon him straight away, however she wished to wait for some more time.

Yun Long who was trying to think of a way out heard a voice in his Soul World, sinking his consciousness inside, he was so shocked his soul just froze… 'Creator? Father-In-Law, how are you here'.

But the image of the creator in front of him just said "Boy, for you to have found this message I left in your soul, it means that you have gone against the warnings and abused the powers of the void leading to a calamity, which has lead me to use the fail-safe I had created in order to stabilize the void"

Yun Long who was too ashamed to even look at his face after what he said just remained quiet, even if it was just a memory fragment, he had no right to even look at this man after what he had done.

"However, there is a silver lining, if you were to fuse the void core with the void outside of the Primal Chaos, not only could you prevent the current calamity, you could also permanently stabilize the void, your primary mission…"

Yun Long who finally found some hope listened carefully.

"Yet this would be at the cost of your existence, and the cost of the Origin God, otherwise known as you my successor, and you will have failed my wish to find my daughter…"
