Xiao Lingxi who had been listening to her mother's serious talk while staring at her with those untainted pure eyes of hers just smiled extremely happy "Mommy, Mommy… I already found the person I want to marry…"

At this statement, not only Hua Mei… the nearby Dongxue, Shen Xi and Xia Qingyue perked up.

Xiao Lingxi just continued with newfound excitement "The person I love the most and want to be with forever is Big Brother Long! He already promised that he would never leave Xi'er behind, even if the world hated Xi'er!" at the end of her naïve statement she started smiling happily

Hua Mei who wanted to correct her at first saw her smile and just let her be, after all in her perspective she was the only one who knew that her Long'er was not actually her child.

'In fact, now that I think about it more, wouldn't it be better for Xi'er to marry Long'er so they become an 'official' family? Fufufu' as she thought about this a dangerous glint could be seen in her eyes in the view of the others who just speedily escaped.

At the same time Qingyue hastily went and assumed her role as her Big Brother Long's shield, protecting her Big Brother Long's body from the big bad wolf that is her Mother-in-Law.
