Chapter 59 - Origin God Profound Veins (Rebirth)

At the same time Shen Xi and the others were investigating the full back tattoo that had now covered Yun Long, he was talking to Yuehai and Est about his future.

"Yuehai what exactly is happening to me though, I have been trapped in my soul world for a little under 2 years, and yet I have no feeling of connection to my physical or spirit, after all I personally watched as that void core devoured me? Am I only a soul form at this moment?" questioned Yun Long

Yuehai just raised her hand before snapping her fingers, in Yun Long's vision a drop of a Vantablack coloured drop of energy had appeared and was slightly hovering above the area she snapped her fingers with.

Yun Long was wondering what was going on "What is this, don't tell me this is some cliché development Father-in-Law made to restore my cultivation?" actually when Yun Long thought about he was one hundred percent sure that this old fart was doing this.

Since the Creator understood Yun Long the most, the Creator knew how much Yun Long hated cliché plot armour, forced plot events and all that good stuff.

"Around the time you first conversed with father, he created this drop since he had somewhat expected this outcome, no he was hoping that you would have completed the trial of becoming the successor of the void.

Since that would be at the cost of the Origin Devouring Profound Veins, he decided to refine his remaining power into a slightly more powerful set of veins which he named the 'Origin God's Profound Veins'" explained Yuehai

Yun Long was listening before she added "Actually Father was just testing you by giving the Origin Devouring Profound Veins, since if you had never completed the trial its peak is only within the divine way as your body would never have been able to refine energy at the true god level without destroying the veins, meaning you would've reached the peak and had a nice life but would always be below the gods"

Yun Long just dropped to the floor, his Father-in-Law was really a true savage… "However, with this drop of blood you would become the true successor of the void… Hmm maybe I should take it instead" quipped Yuehai

However, Yun Long who had enough of the Creator just ignored her whilst laying on his back staring into the endless void within his soul.

Before he raised his head and said "Yuehai, let's start the process"

Yuehai saw his serious demeanour and just pushed the drop of source energy towards him, before his soul once more reconnected to his spirit, and his physical body outside once more was basked in a Vantablack light.

Focusing on his c.h.e.s.t one could witness the phenomenon as lines were forming to create a full c.h.e.s.t and arm tattoo of a galaxy, stars shining surrounding the central spot (middle dantian) where a void was spiralling, surrounded by the galaxy blue before it finished.

Shen Xi and the others who were watching were extremely confused. Yun Long's entire back, c.h.e.s.t and upper arms no longer had any skin that wasn't covered by an almost tribal mark of a galaxy surrounding the void, with two guardian spirits protecting the same void that was placed on the opposite side at the back.

Although it was quite strange, looking at the now n.a.k.e.d Yun Long gave all five girls a feeling that he had become a supreme existence, and even if the mark was a little strange, it actually looked beautiful since it proportioned to his bone structure and muscle structure, so it looked almost natural.

About Yun Long, he was currently going through another soul piecing agony as the Origin God's Profound Veins started to fuse itself with his physical body, since there had been a set of profound veins there previously, the shape was slightly different which led to him feeling that a fire rod was pushing and pulling his previous profound vein structure so that the new veins would be able to produce themselves within his body.

(A/N: 8 years old he lost his veins, new veins are slightly larger now that he is 10, but his body had naturally filled the 'gap' that the veins had once taken)

The intense pain continued. It was a pain that lacked in comparison to his initial devouring when he sacrificed himself to his void core but it was still a pain that far surpassed a human's capability to endure.

This pain sustained and was a continuous pain that Yun Long could feel clearly…. At this rate, it would at least take 1 hour just for the veins to come in, before he has to secure it back with his new void core that he would create.

Yun Long wasn't complaining though, he just gritted his 'teeth' as his soul that had already re-entered his body just before the process had started to fully connect to him.

Suddenly his body that was previously lacking the void core in his middle dantian, now found itself with a new core, which re-emerged thanks to Yuehai, who under the instruction of her father explained to her how to reconnect his damaged spirit back into his body.

The new Void Core had a colourless energy spiralling around its equator, Yun Long who received the mental image understood that his new Void Core would instead be called a Calamity-Devouring Void Core.

Unlike previously, this void core would automatically refine energy and directly deposit the origin energy towards his immortal realm, whereas all the energy he refined from cultivation would stay within his profound veins, unlike the 20% before, making them almost separate entities then how they were connected with his initial veins.

(A/N: His Devouring Body is still sealed for now...)

Yun Long remembered Yuehai talking about the previous veins were just a phoney inheritance and now understood slightly the differences she was talking about.

Since the calamity energy is what will force the Void into starting its descent into totally erasing everything into nothingness, before everything is reborn from the nothingness to create a new Primal Chaos Dimension, this void core would automatically refine calamity energy that surrounds the Primal Chaos, even if it is undetectable.

However, Yun Long didn't care much for it at this moment in time, he just wanted to pass through this rebirth so that he could finally officially start his journey back to the peak.
