Whilst the rest of the Floating Cloud was in a frenzy, Yun Long returned home for his twelfth birthday celebration with the rest of his family and the Xia family.

When he walked back in the Xiao Clan he just ignored the other Xiao Clan members since he held deep disdain for such people to be considered his family.

Just the mere thought that those sc.u.m could be associated with his 'Family' made him sick to his stomach, and if not for his adopted father Xiao Lie and adopted big brother Xiao Ying, he might've just killed all these pathetic mongrels of a family.

Yun Long walked towards his mother's compound since he knew his actions today were going to be spread and would find its way to his parents notice, and he hoped that they didn't view him to differently after this.

As he walked in the courtyard with Xiao Lingxi and Xia Qingyue in tow, he noticed the quiet atmosphere, as Xia Hongyi and Xia Yuanba were sitting outside whilst Xiao Lie, Dongxue and Hua Mei were sitting at the main section of the room as they looked towards the sound.

The trio entered the room before Yun Long patted their arms, trying to send his intent 'let go off my arms now Big Brother Long is about to get spanked' to which they silently laughed at.

"Hmph, Xiao Long, it is good that you can think that this situation you can think of laughing, the situation you are currently in is no laughing matter young man, if you do not quickly explain to your mother what happened, there will be serious consequences" Hua Mei said in a tranquil tone, a little upset about how nonchalant he was acting after doing such things.

Yun Long looked towards Dongxue, who just smiled at him a little before going towards Xiao Lingxi and Xia Qingyue then proceeded to take them to Xia Hongyi and Xia Yuanba who were just outside, so that they could hear what was going on without intruding on the atmosphere and conversation.

Yun Long proceeded to look at his adopted father "How come you are quiet father, I thought it would be you who would scold me since you are quite the upright person" asked Yun Long in a tranquil tone.

His adopted father just looked at him for a while before adding "Well I listened closely to all the rumours and by connecting the dots a guess could be made to say that a man had schemed after the little girls and you responded as a true cultivator, ruthless… which although is not healthy for one's mental state, is required to have safety. The reason I do not feel like scolding you is because as an elder of a clan, you experience such things often, however as for Mei…" he looked at his wife who was glaring at him for spouting such nonsense (in her mind).

Yun Long looked at Hua Mei, and just sighed "We went outside today, and ended up paying for a few homeless kids restaurant meals for the day, and then a cultivator had come in today disguised as a beggar but his realm was at the Emperor Profound Realm. He wanted me to take me as his disciple and I then rejected him, although I may have been slightly annoyed and rebuked him in an arrogant way and I guess the old fart wanted to get back since he started talking about the fear of death he felt from my body and how he concluded that I was at a higher cultivation realm then him before being crippled which led to everyone getting excited since rumours are the best thing for bored people to take part in"

Hua Mei listened as she was waiting for the serious issue, which Yun Long noticed so he got the point "I felt a cruel and greedy intent and looked towards an old pervert, and the way he was looking at Yue'er, Xi'er and me was odd, so I decided to go through his memories and felt like puking, knowing his intent for us I just ended his life since such a person breathing the same air as me made me feel sick" he said with an slightly cold tone, yet his tranquil voice remained.

Hua Mei spoke up "Long'er… why are you so calm about taking the life of another" she questioned since this shouldn't be the attitude a child has after killing someone for the first time.

Yun Long pondered for a bit before replying "Well he is the second person I have killed in my life… so maybe I am used to it… but the main reason is because… I probably didn't really consider him human? I'm not sure myself, after all I always have thoughts whether I have a defected mindset since when I killed my first time I felt nothing… at that time I hadn't reached 9 years of age… maybe if I kill an innocent person I would find out a little about myself, yet it goes against my principles to do so, so I do not know how to answer you mother, I hope you can find an answer from my explanation at the least" he explained in a confused tone.

After all he was a mortal from earth, he found it a little weird how easy he could kill, and wondered if it was because of the alternate timeline he created in his mind (A/N: Original timeline of ATG with Yun Long as MC), or if it was due to the sociopathic tendencies he already had during his mortal life…

Hua Mei heard his answer and started crying, she felt that she had done a bad job as a mother since she didn't even realise that her boy had gone through such things and only now noticing his mind was deteriorating.

She could hear from his reply that he himself didn't even know what was going on, and the questions he put out were his subconscious ways of asking for help.

"My poor child, you have suffered too much in life already Long'er, you need not think about such things and just live a happy life with Yue'er and Lingxi, us parents will look after such things okay?" with tears pouring onto Yun Long's silky hair.
