Although Jonathan had decided to be honest with his parents, he was still on guard. His parents may have sincerely loved him, but Jonathan's inferiority complex had kicked his fears.

His right hand grabbed the tea and took two sips before preparing himself with the cushion in his left hand.

In those few years, although he had not performed any official magical training, Jonathan relied on his m.a.t.u.r.e thinking along with his quick learning ability to supplement his learning. For example, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, make flowers bloom, or even control small animals, these were all the applications of what he could do.

If George and Anna were well suited to this announcement, then Jonathan would immediately fire the cotton in his hands and throw at them. That would give him more than enough time to take the next step. On the plus side, cotton would burn quickly and do no harm to their parents. Then he would run to the door and pick up the bag that was enchanted with the Extension Charm before running away.

With these preparations in mind, Jonathan began to speak.

"Dad, Mom, you must know that I have an unusual gift, but you have to be prepared, for it goes beyond what you can believe."

Seeing Jonathan's serious expression, George and Anna looked at each other once before agreeing to Jonathan.

Jonathan did not say another word and touched the dried flower in the nearby pot and allowed the magic to flow into it.

In a mysterious display of magic, the dried stem began to turn green before a green leaf sprouted. The stem began to grow thicker and thicker before a flower bud could be seen budding at the top. The next moment, the flower bud began to slowly bloom. Stopping the flow of magic, Jonathan presented the vase flower to George.

"This is so magical!" Anna's hand had covered her mouth in shock as Geoge had stopped, shocked, "How did you do that?"

"Magic, that's the power of magic, I've only been able to do that."

"Magic, this is a power that only wizards and witches have!" Anna spoke in shock.

"As you can see, I am a wizard," Jonathan explained, "but this power is not as bad as the books described, it gives a lot more life than it does."

"I did not think our son would be a wizard. This has to be the most wonderful event of my whole life. George gasped.

"Wonderful or not, you're still our precious son." Anna hugged Jonathan before saying, "Why did not you tell us earlier?"

"I was afraid you would not accept me!"

"I gave birth to you! How could there be something I would not accept of you?

It's all right. Arguing with a woman was clearly a mistake.

"Hang on." George held his wife and spoke with a serious expression. "Who else knows about his magic?"

"I assure you the two of you are the first to know." For the Muggle world, at least. Jonathan mentally added the last part.

"That's not bad, then." Anna said.

Knowing that his initial fears about his parents were now unfounded, Jonathan breathed a sigh of relief. After all, keeping this secret of the two closest to him was extremely difficult. Then Jonathan gave a brief explanation of the magical world and explained that the only people who knew about the magical world in England were His Highness the Queen and the Prime Minister. The implications of this were more than enough for George and Anna to know how serious this secret was. Though it was clear, Jonathan remembered them again and again.

Having too many insurance was not bad, right?

After obtaining the consent of his parents, Jonathan had happily begun the next step for his plan.

The next thing he did was go to Flourish and Blotts to buy the textbooks from sophomores to Hogwarts. He had especially written down the books of the third year and added some books, but divination was not one of them.

That's not to say he was despising it. In fact, Jonathan really wanted to learn. But he simply did not have what it took to be a prophet. Jonathan was born from a civil birth and did not have the blood of any prophet running in him. Moreover, he thought divination was very imprecise in nature. Jonathan had read that in Harry Potter, the strongest prophet in the series had been Professor of Divination at Hogwarts, Sybill Trelawney. But this person was completely useless in half the time.

Trelawney's prediction was actually labeling Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort together in a prophecy. Half the time, however, she spent her happy time predicting the death of people (vaguely, remember). In fact, that was all there was to it. The biggest question was - when in Merlin's name would this person get serious ?!

Forget. Divination and all that was for those who cared about it.

Jonathan picked up all the books on Legilimency and walked to the cauldron shop, buying three (of the best) sets of potions. After that, he went to the Slugs & Jiggers Apothecary and bought all the possible potion ingredients to buy. Learning how to make potions was especially important and would need many ingredients. Of course, it was not necessary to mention that Jonathan had a lot of money.

After all prepared, Jonathan decided to buy an owl. He had promised Julie after all. And meeting the future lady Longbottom would not be so bad either.

The Magical Menagerie was the Diagon Alley specialty store for pets, but the inside of the store was extremely tight with a pet in every inch of it. The shop had a lot of noise due to the fact that all the many animals were stuffed into a single cage with all kinds of strange sounds.

A solitary witch was sitting behind the counter. Beside her, a giant purple frog was drinking water while also eating several dead flies. Another jeweled tortoise could be seen shining through the window, a dark orange snake slowly lifted the head of its nest, and a white hare could be seen jumping around its cage non stop with a shrill sound. All types of cats could be seen grouped together with another cage of cacophonous crows. There was also some kind of shaggy blue object in another corner.

At the counter, there were several black rats using their tails to play some kind of game.

"Do you have owls?" Jonathan asked.

"Look over there." The witch pointed to a corner, "What kind of owl do you want?"

"One second, how are these animals, this raven and black cat?" Charles suddenly pointed a black crow with some golden feathers and blue eyes, and a cat so black that its fur seemed like the very darkness nearby.

Jonathan had planned to start an owl at first, but seeing how martial and witty these animals raven and black cat was, he instantly enjoyed that. This was probably due to the fact that they pass a different charm from the other animals, they even seem magical means. (well this is a world where magic is everywhere, it is natural for them to be magic).

"You have a good eye, this is a purebred cat of Bengal, a particularly rare black cat, and the black crow with golden feathers is a descendant of the divine chinhesa bird, Golden Raven of Three Legs, whose liveliness represents the Sun."

I still want an owl yet.

"What kind of owl do you want?"

"Hey, do you have a white one, does it have to be as white as snow?"

10 minutes later, Jonathan had a cage and the black cat perched on his left shoulder and a black crow with light golden feathers as he left the Magical Menagerie.

After that, I would buy a wand.
