Harry Potter And The Darkness

Stefan and the girls were with all of the students in the Great Hall, about to have breakfast, but the food and the plates were not ready, every student wonder if there has been a problem since the breakfast has never had problems.

"There are announces that all of you must hear" said a powerful voice coming from the middle of the professor's table, where every student saw Dumbledore standing while pointing with his wand at his throat to amplify his voice.

"This year it's going to be a little bit special as you have noticed the day of the sorting ceremony, we have an issue with a student, Draco Malfoy please, come here." said Dumbledore while signaling at a blonde student who was beside Snape who as always had a gloomy face.

"Draco Malfoy, is going to be changed from Gryffindor to Slytherin" said Dumbledore with a calm voice.

All the students got a surprised face as they started to talk, and some students started saying "I want a change too, I don't belong to Hufflepuff, Yes I want a change too, Me too, And Me"

"Silence" said Dumbledore while amplifying his voice and making all the students to shut up, but still, they didn't have a nice face.

"We're going to give all the first years another chance at another sorting ceremony, but just to the ones that really think they belong to another house, but this sorting ceremony will be private and the method will change, if you want to proceed to attempt the change there will be a box in your common rooms, put your name inside and that will be it, you will be call for the private ceremony shortly after, now that the announcement has been done, let's have breakfast" said Dumbledore as he clapped his hands and plates, cups and dishes started to appear on the tables.

Draco started to walk to the Slytherin table where he was received by everyone with cheers, well almost everyone as Stefan and the girls just ignored him and started to eat.

"Morningstar, I want my bedroom to be clean and tidy for tonight" said Draco as he passed near Stefan.

Stefan just kept eating as he ignored him, all the girls watched him eating calmly but they knew it was just the calm before the storm.

"Where is Hermione?" said Mary with a curious voice.

Daphne looked at the Gryffindor table and saw her "She is in Gryffindor table, huh, she is with the Weasley boy, and with Potter"

Stefan just lifted his head and saw Hermione talking with Weasley and Potter, with a happy face, he looked at her for a moment and then kept eating normally.

Hermione felt the stare of someone as she turned her head and saw Stefan looking at her for a moment, and then Stefan just started eating normally.

She had mixed emotions, yesterday after saying goodbye to Stefan, she went to the Gryffindor common room, and there she met with Ron and Harry, Ron apologized to her for saying those things to her, and as they were doing homework she decided to help them a little by telling them which books they have to read to do the homework, and they started talking till night, as it passed the night Hermione was about to go to the Slytherin table but Harry and Ron invited her to sit with them, after hesitating a moment she joined them and rejoiced for finally having someone to talk in Gryffindor.

And finally after she sat down, she heard the announcement of being able to change of house, as she was thinking that maybe she could make the effort to change of House, she heard Ron saying that changing from house could be considered a stain in someone honor and that he was sure that Gryffindor was the best house as Dumbledore was in Gryffindor.

"Hermione do you know which class we have after breakfast?" said Harry while looking at her.

"Yeah, we have flying classes with Slytherin" said Hermione absentmindedly.

"Great now I will look like an idiot in front of Draco and Stefan" said Harry while sighing.

The Slytherins were the first to arrive, there were twenty old broomsticks lying in neat lines on the ground. The Gryffindor's came soon after.

Their teacher, Madam Hooch, arrived. She had short, gray hair, and yellow eyes like a hawk.

"Well, what are you all waiting for?" she barked. "Everyone stand by a broomstick. Come on, hurry up."

"Stick out your right hand over your broom," called Madam Hooch at the front, "and say 'Up!"'

"UP" everyone shouted.

From the Slytherin's side, Stefan's, Mary's, Draco's broom jumped into their hands at once.

On Gryffindor's side, other than Harry whose broom jumped to his hand on the first try, the remaining were struggling to get the broom to come up in their hand.

After everyone got their broom. Madam Hooch then showed them, how to mount their brooms without sliding off the end, and walked up and down the rows correcting their grips. Madam Hooch corrected Stefan's and Mary's posture since it was a little off even though it's their first time gripping a broom, and Draco's posture was totally wrong and Madame Hooch told him that he seems he has never touched a broom in his life.

Now, when I blow my whistle, you kick off from the ground, hard," said Madam Hooch. "Keep your brooms steady, rise a few feet, and then come straight back down by leaning forward slightly. On my whistle -- three -- two --"

But Neville, nervous and jumpy and frightened of being left on the ground, pushed off hard before the whistle had touched Madam Hooch's lips.

"Come back, boy!" she shouted, but Neville was rising straight up like a cork shot out of a bottle -- twelve feet -- twenty feet. Everyone saw his scared white face look down at the ground falling away.

Everyone saw Neville gasp, slip sideways off the broom and -- WHAM -- a thud and a nasty crack and Neville laid face down on the grass in a heap. His broomstick was still rising higher and higher and started to drift lazily toward the forbidden forest and out of sight.

Madam Hooch was bending over Neville, her face as white as his. "Broken wrist," Everyone heard her mutter. "Come on, boy -- it's all right, up you get.".

She turned to the rest of the class.

"None of you is to move while I take this boy to the hospital wing! You leave those brooms where they are or you'll be out of Hogwarts before you can say 'Quidditch.' Come on, dear."

Neville, his face tear-streaked, clutching his wrist, hobbled off with Madam Hooch, who had her arm around him.

Suddenly the same scene as in the movie started to play and Stefan watched with an amused face, Draco said while laughing"Did you see his face, the great lump?"

"Shut up, Draco," snapped Parvati Patil.

"Ooh, sticking up for Longbottom?" said Pansy Parkinson "Never thought you'd like fat little crybabies, Parvati."

Mary who saw a crystal ball in the floor went and picked it up while looking at it with curiosity in her face.

"Give that back, Morningstar" Suddenly Ron's voice came. Stefan looked at Mary who was looking at the Remembrall

The whole ground was quiet as they knew she was together with Stefan.

"I was just picking it up, I'm planning to give it to Neville later" said Mary while smiling, all the boys got stunned as they saw her smile.

"Lies." Ron raised his voice, "Don't think, I don't know about you Slytherins, you probably want to steal it."

"Weasley watch your mouth, no one talks to Mary like that" said Stefan as he stopped watching over, and started walking with Daphne and Tracey following him a step behind, while everyone stayed quiet, at least for the side of Slytherin as they knew Stefan crushed Zabini a few days ago, even Malfoy didn't say anything as he remembered the day at the train where he, Crabbe and Goyle got the short end of the stick.

Hermione came in front of them with an anxious face and said "Stefan just hand me the remembrall, I will give to Neville later, and let's stop this."

"Hermione, they have been treating you badly and been ignoring you, while we have been your friends, and now you will let Weasley talk to Mary like that, saying she is a thief" said Daphne with an annoyed face.

While Stefan didn't say anything and just ignored Hermione

"I..." as Hermione didn't know what to say, Ron took a step forward and said "She does not need to be friends with Slytherin's"

"Apologize to Mary, Weasley, now" said Stefan as he looked with his silver eyes at Ron, who got intimidated and took a step back.

The Gryffindors took a step, as and looked at Stefan with intimidated gazes, Stefan just ignored them and kept looking at Ron.

"I'm sorry..." said Ron as he got red while apologizing.

Stefan turned around, and started walking to the place he was before this mess happened, with Mary and the girls following him, the Slytherins students opened up to let him and the girls passed, as they started walking, there was a voice that said "give back the remembrall"

Stefan turned his head and saw Potter taking a step forward while extending his hand to Mary.

"Like I said, I'm going to give it back to Neville after the class, don't worry" said Mary while smiling stunning Potter for a moment, till he noticed they started walking away again, and said "Give it back"

Stefan started to get annoyed and suddenly he remembered the movie, he smiled as he turned around while taking the remembrall from the hand of Mary who got surprised. Everyone saw as Stefan got closer to Mary and whisper something to her, and then she started to smiled brightly.

"Potter you want the ball back right?, what about a competition...?" said Stefan while looking at Potter with a smile on his face.

"What kind of competition...?" said Potter with a cautious face.

"Simple, we don't know how to use the broom, I'm going to throw the ball up in the air the one who caught it, wins" said Stefan.

Everyone got interested as they heard the idea, while Hermione said "If Madame Hooch comes and sees you, you might get expelled didn't you hear?, stop this please"

Stefan just ignored her, as he looked at Potter who was hesitating and said "The Great Harry Potter will let the remembrall to be stolen in front of his eyes?"

Potter got angry as he heard that and said "Ok, let's play" said Harry as he took a broom from the floor, as he turned around saw Mary smiling at him with a broom on he hand.

"Thought you were going to be the player Stefan, scared?" said Potter with a sneer on his face.

"Scared to play against a girl Potter?, hahaha" said Mary while laughing, charming all the boys there.

Stefan came between the two of them and threw the ball high up in the air as he took his wand and hit it with a spell that made it get more higher.

Mary and Potter stated to fly away at high speed in direction of the remembrall which got to its higher point it could and started descending at high speed, everyone saw as Mary had the advantage by a small margin, but that margin could decide the winner, as Mary was about to grab the ball Potter shamelessly was about to tackle the tail of her broom, but Mary saw that and dodged him, making the remembrall kept descending at higher speed, Mary laughed as she descended while making a backflip in her broom and rapidly chased after the ball while Potter lost time making the turn, and as he finally got to make the turn he saw Mary with the ball on her hand.

Mary did a wonderful landing, and all the Slytherins started cheering her, Stefan walked to her and nodded at her with a smile on his face, while Daphne and Tracey were complementing Mary.

"HARRY POTTER!" "MARY MORNINGSTAR"

Suddenly, Professor McGonagall came rushing toward them. Harry's leg was trembling to see McGonagall and Mary had a calm face as she just smiled as if she was not the one shouted at.

"Never -- in all my time at Hogwarts --"

Professor McGonagall was almost speechless with shock, and her glasses flashed furiously, "-- how dare you both -- you could have broken your neck --"

"It wasn't his fault, Professor --"

"Be quiet, Miss Patil

"Enough!" Professor McGonagall said "Potter, you and Mr. Weasley come with me and Ms. Morningstar and Mr. Morningstar please wait here awhile, I will come here with your house head, Professor Snape. He will decide both of your punishment."

McGonagall left with Potter and Weasley, and a few moments after Snape come to the grounds while looking coldly at Mary and Stefan, who just kept calm.

"Both of you, come with me"

Stefan and Mary followed Snape to his office, as they got there Snape asked them about the issue in the flying grounds, and Mary started talking while Stefan stood there with a bored expression on his face, but he remembered something and looked at Mary for a moment with a gleam in his eyes.

"Prof. Snape I have information that you should know, Potter is going to be the seeker of Gryffindor" said Stefan with a calm face.

"That's impossible first years can't play Quidditch" said Snape immediately.

"That's the case indeed, but Prof. McGonagall saw Potter skills on the broom, and you didn't saw her eyes, they were shining as she has found a piece of gold, but Prof. Snape, Mary beat Potter in the incident, you can make her our seeker... that's if you have no problem with it, If Potter is allowed to play, you will need an ace for the Slytherin Quidditch Team, and that Ace can be Mary" said Stefan with a calm face as he looked at Snape for a moment and felt he was trying to use Legilimens on him, so he let him use Legilimens on him as he showed him an altered memory of McGonagall looking at Potter with worshipping eyes, after showing him that he broke visual contact with Snape and pretended that nothing happened.

Snape's eyes got colder as he saw the memory of McGonagall worshipping eyes, and remembered certain jackass with incredible flying skills with the broom.

"I'm going to investigate this, if Potter is allowed to play, she will play too, leave" said Snape as he waved his hand at them.

Stefan and Mary left the office of Snape, while Mary was smiling brightly at Stefan while saying "Thank You, Young Master, that was really fun, but I don't want to play... if I have to be the seeker I will have to go to practice and as your maid I can't leave you alone" said Mary while looking at Stefan with thankful eyes.

"There will be no problem with that, I will fix that issue later, send a message to Emma, tell her to buy you a Nimbus 2000, you will need it"
