Arthur didn't really want to wait as he wanted to go now, and if that person was inside one of the far away towers then they would have to wait for at least ten minutes.

Arthur asked "Why should we wait? I'm about to go away from the school for an entire month. A month! Why should I waste my time waiting for someone?"

Dumbledore chuckled and said "As you said you will be gone for a month, so a few minutes shouldn't bother you. And waiting under such a nice whether, feeling the sun shine on us, isn't it good?"

Arthur rolled his eyes and said "Whatever…" The weather was nice indeed, but soon he would get out of the region, the weather would quite possibly change to a horrible one.

But contrarily to what I thought, instead of waiting 10 minutes I only had to wait two. And I understood why when I saw who was coming for me.

Who could that red blur be except Elena? She must have jumped over the walls instead of taking the usual way. She is lucky she is a student or she would probably be dead by now with all the wards and arrays there are in the school.

As she arrived she looked at Dumbledore a little warily and turned to Arthur. The two looked at each other, the silence seemed to be so loud in Elena's ears that she felt uncomfortable.

Arthur eventually sighed and broke the staring contest by asking "What can I do for you?"

Elena bit her lip and asked "Where were you?" Arthur wanted to tell her it was none of her business and apparate away, but he is the a.d.u.l.t here, he shouldn't act like the child.

"I was training. Learning something I wouldn't be able to learn in class." Elena tilted her head and asked "Didn't you said that you liked going to classes? That you learned things…"

Arthur rolled his eyes and said "I said I could make with it, but now that I can really learn things instead of simply furthering my knowledge, of course I'll take the chance."

Elena frowned and asked "What are you going to do?" Arthur looked at Dumbledore, who nodded, and replied "I will stop going to the same classes as you all and obtain a special scholarship, I'll be out in the world most of time, and come back to school for the rest of the year."

Elena's eyes grew wide and she turned to Dumbledore "Is that possible?! Does that exists?" Dumbledore replied "Well it is a first, but Mr. Grindelwald has proved himself to be capable enough, don't you think Ms. Gylys?"

Elena blushed as Dumbledore was clearly talking about the Vendetta group. Indeed, for all the first years to gang up against one student, it really proved how advanced Arthur was compared to them.

Elena looked at Arthur straight in the eyes and asked "Can I come with you?" Arthur scoffed "Why should I even consider taking you with me?"

Elena smiled slightly and said "You are my fiancee, dear Arthur."

Arthur's words were stuck in his throat as he looked at Elena disbelievingly. Elena smirked thinking she had won, but all of a sudden the temperature around seemed to have lowered to 0°C.

She looked back toward Arthur, and saw an abominable sight. She was used to see shadows or smoke come out from Arthur, but this time it was different.

The black smoke coming from Arthur's feet seemed way denser than last time, as if it was solid. It was even darker and as she looked at it she could hear the mournful wails of different creatures…

Elena stepped back in fear and Arthur looked at her mockingly "You say you want to follow me, you say I am your fiancee, but are you even worthy? Who do you think you are? Do you think you can stand before me?"

As he finished Arthur took a step forward, and the acc.u.mulating black smoke that had completely covered his feet by now suddenly exploded outwards, making the sound of an explosion and creating a shock wave.

Despite her stronger body, Elena was still pushed to the ground, as a wisp of smoke formed a terrifying demon with red eyes, the same as that day, only smaller.

The demon was laughing wickedly, although it sounded more like painful cries. Elena was feeling colder, and she now truly understood that in those two weeks, Arthur changed.

She had felt the bloodl.u.s.t coming from him before, but it seemed natural but it was like it wasn't Arthur's own. But now, Arthur had clearly tasted blood, and this had transformed his bloodl.u.s.t into a real, terrifying one.

As she looked into the demon's eyes, her surroundings suddenly disappeared, she was now in a black space, so black that it looked like light had been s.u.c.k.e.d away and disappeared.

The only thing she could see were those two red eyes which gradually transformed into Arthur's blue eyes, which were becoming smaller and smaller as Elena felt herself sinking into the darkness, as if hell was taking her in.

But as she felt despair she remembered about her magic. She wasn't lenient on using it and as soon as she sensed it she began channeling it and moving across her body.

She stopped sinking, and the darkness around disappeared, it faded away. She was back in the real world, half kneeling in front of a surprised Arthur and smiling Dumbledore.

Despite getting out of that dark place, Arthur's magic was still operating, and Elena felt the bloodl.u.s.t coming from Arthur was even more scary than the demon's.

But she gritted her teeth, and tried to get up using her shaky legs. Time seemed to have slowed down, but she never stopped rising. As each second passed the pressure she felt from Arthur intensified, until she stood up.

She straightened her body, but she was still shaking, her despair mixing with her determination. The smoke that hovered around them had now transformed into countless little demons, all laughing crazily as they looked at her.

As Elena felt she was about to give up and fall back down on her knees, all the bloodl.u.s.t, smoke and demons faded away too, as if they never existed.

Elena felt the rays of the sun fall on her skin, her sweat… The heat came back, and the crushing pressure went back inside Arthur.

Dumbledore, who had been silent until now, said "Arthur, I think she proved herself well enough." Arthur didn't answer but continued staring at Elena, who now stared back with tired eyes.

Arthur eventually said "Why didn't you give up?" Elena replied "I… During those two weeks, I had time to think. And I concluded that I owe you. I owe you an apology, and my life. I am sorry."

Arthur looked at her up and down and said "What are you apologizing for exactly?" Elena didn't hesitate and replied "For having been an idiot. For not thinking before acting."

Arthur raised an eyebrow and asked "You are not sorry for joining that kids' group? You are not sorry for… how should I say it… going against me?"

Elena shook her head and explained "No. I am not apologizing because I left you behind. Only for acting before thinking."

Arthur gave her a final look and said "I am warning you, if you come with me the chances of death are high."

Elation appeared on her face as she replied "Of course!" Arthur continued "If you come then I want obedience. If I tell you to jump, you jump. I tell you to run, you run."

Elena nodded and Arthur continued "I want brains too. If I tell you to stand in front of a killing curse then don't."

Elena's face turned surprised, but she still nodded anyways.

Arthur sighed "Then I guess you can come with me." Elena smiled and jumped at him, hugging him with all her strength.

Arthur silently put a shield on to avoid having his bones broken and said "Why did I agree, I'm already regretting it…"

He may have said that, he didn't try to get away. In the inside, Arthur enjoyed the warmth of having someone else with him. He could do it alone, but having a friend with him was still better.

Same as last time:

Ohohohoho you are going to hate me for this. More seriously, the following adventure would have been boring alone so I decided to put Elena back in. I'll be honest, Peter is beyond redemption. But Elena and Karol are still okay, although Karol is more of a sidekick than a true character. For those who think Arthur forgave Elena too easily, I just want to remind you Arthur is m.a.t.u.r.e, he has been an a.d.u.l.t and gone through hardsh.i.p.s in this life. If he wasn't able to forgive her for this it would have been childish.
