Before Arthur could even open his eyes, his senses registered the immense pain. Arthur wanted to shout but he forced it back down and only growled quietly.

Fortunately he was a transmigrator and an a.d.u.l.t in his past life, otherwise a four years old kid would have never been able to endure the pain.

But as Merlin said, the pain wasn't as bad as yesterday. Yesterday the pain was unbearable, soul tearing, but today it was bearable at least.

In itself the pain wasn't that great, but it spread on his whole body, so it made it worse. Arthur opened his eyes and he was greeted with a blurry sight.

Arthur stood up from his bed and went for the light based on memory. As Merlin said, his senses were affected. He was not blind, but his vision was impaired. He could see perfectly for three meters, but after that it would become blurry.

Arthur was glad that he could still see well within a three meters perimeter. Arthur put on clothes and got out of his room. Every step he made would make the pain rise.

It wasn't that it would be more painful, but if he stayed without moving he would slowly accommodate to the pain. But when he walked, his muscles would contract and loosen, making the pain unable to disappear.

As Arthur slowly made his way to the kitchen he smiled at the fact he didn't stay in the hospital despite his condition. He may not have fainted, any muggle would have let him in the hospital.

But Arthur was quite sure his parents were wizards in this world. Otherwise, why would they be friends with the Weasley and Gregory families?

By the way, except for the accident, Arthur had taken a liking to the two families, especially with the ones around his age.

Arthur got in the kitchen and saw both his parents were hugging each other, his mother backing him, though he could hear soft sobs from her, while his father was looking down.

As Arthur looked at them, he hesitated about what he should tell them. At first he wanted to simply lie and say he wasn't hurting, but seeing the state his parents were in, Arthur had doubts.

As he was pondering Henry lifted his head a little and was surprised to see his son standing there with a thinking face.

Henry taped on Nat's shoulder and said "Son, you're okay?" Hearing him, Nat moved from Henry and looked at Arthur.

Arthur smiled at them and said "I guess I am… I don't really know." Nat took a big step and crushed him in a hug and said "Don't worry sweaty, you can tell us."

Arthur though said "Mom, it's painful! Don't hug too hard!" Nat instantly released him and looked down in horror.

Arthur shook his head and took her in a gentle hug and said "Don't worry, you just squeezed a little too much."

Nat began sobbing again but stayed in the same position while Henry got up and patted Arthur's head and said "So, you mind telling us how you are?"

Arthur nodded and said "Well it's a long story, but first I need to know, are you guys wizards?" As he said that the two looked at him in shock.

Before they could say anything he added "Please don't lie." Henry and Nat looked at each other and sighed before saying "Yes, we are wizards. How do you know about the existence of wizards? Did one of the Weasley tell you?"

Arthur shook his head and said "I know it's hard to believe, but yesterday when I fell asleep, I met someone."

Henry frowned and asked "Was it a bad dream?" Arthur shook his head and replied "No, it wasn't a dream. But before I tell you anything, I want you guys to promise me you won't tell me anything, alright?"

Arthur had eventually decided to tell his parents, because although this visit of Merlin was a big secret, they were his parents, they would do anything to protect him.

Both his parents nodded so he said "Well last night, I woke up in a strange room. I met a man in that house, he was Merlin. The Merlin. Like the actual legend. And he told me about my condition."

The two looked at their son unable to respond to what he said. It was too insane to believe, they were unable to even process the information. Merlin? The strongest and wisest wizard of all time? Visiting their son?

Henry took a hold of himself and said "You know that Merlin died centuries ago, right? So how could you possibly meet him?"

Arthur shook his head and said "I know, but I learned a lot from him. Long story short he created a spell that created a copy of himself from back when he launched the spell and blocked himself in time. Until I arrived he didn't even know he didn't exist… Well listen, it's a complicated spell and I have trouble thinking with the pain I keep feeling."

Natasha bit her lip and asked "What did you learn from him?" Arthur looked at her in astonishment and asked "You believe me?"

Natasha smiled sadly and replied "I don't think you would make things up at this time. We both know you are a gifted boy, and we had suspicions you would be a wizard too. A great one. And in the wizarding world, weird stuff happens."

Arthur smiled toothily for a second but immediately stopped as smiling under the pain felt weird. He then said "Merlin told me that I haven't contracted a disease but a blessing. Basically every wizard have their magic mutate when they turn eleven, mine mutated yesterday."

Henry frowned and said "It's not that I don't believe you, but the mutation doesn't hurt." Arthur asked "You know about the mutation?"

But Henry shook his head and replied "No, I only used your words. When we become eleven we do feel a power up, never thought it was a mutation. But as I said, it's not painful."

Henry nodded and said "Yes, but you are eleven when it happens and your body has already started developing. For me, my magic mutated at a very young age, so it drawed upon the elements. It's complicated but basically I'll have more magic than others and I am a natural at Light and Darkness elemental spells."

Henry smiled hearing him, but Nat shook her head and said "Nothing is free in this world." Arthur nodded somberly and said "I'll have my senses dulled and feel this pain for every moment until I become 11. And I will never be able to use other elements."

Nat sighed and asked "Are you sure you are okay?" Arthur smiled and this time forced himself to smile and said "The pain is bearable, and there something I haven't told you. From now on I'll see Merlin every time I go to sleep and he became my master. I can't practice with him but he will teach me the theories."

As he said that Henry and Nat looked at each other deeply before they asked in unison "You swear that this isn't some joke and that it actually happened?"

Arthur did not understand what they meant but he knew they were about to do something important. But Arthur still nodded, and fixed his gaze on his parents.

They both took a deep breath and Nat said "Honey, what you told us, no one can know about it. If we keep your secret we could give out your secret, so we will change our own memory… But I need to know, is your mutation not dangerous?"

Arthur shook his head and said "I swear I will live, suffer yes, but I won't die." The both nodded and pointed their own hand on their temples.

The tip of their wands glowed and after five seconds the two walked to the living room like robots and sat in front of the TV.

Seeing this, Arthur let out a tear, thankful for them to be his parents. He knew that they would rather die than let him suffer.
