" A basilisk is pure death and can kill with a glance" Said Sophia, one of Lucien's cousins

"A what?" Pansy asked

"It's a giant snake that is an apex predator. Its fangs hold the deadliest poison in the world and it does not have a cure. It can kill anything." Emma explained holding a book on wandlore.

"If it was a Basilisk, Why aren't the people at Hogwarts dead but petrified," Zabini asked

"Well my Golem told me that the Creevy boy was taking pictures," Navarra said

"And nearly headless nick is already dead," Katie added

"And if they were found together, maybe Flinch-Fletchy saw the basilisk through nearly headless Nick's ghost body and it wore down the magic. resulting and him only being petrified." Hermione explained

"Then where is a snake as big as a Basilisk going to hide in this Hogwarts place?" Sophia asked

"There are only three places. The Forbidden Forest, the black lake, and the sewers under Hogwarts." Lucien said and then began to explain

"The forest has loads of deadly creatures. So it takes first place. However, the sewers beneath Hogwarts would explain its stealthy attacks. and the black lake just wouldn't fit now would it"

"What if the answer is all of them. I mean think about it. Would a great wizard like Salazar Slytherin only make one entrance? when he was alive, the best had to go get exercise right. and it could not just slither through the school with mass murdering eyes. Not even Salazar Slytherin thought of mass murder as a way to get rid of Muggle-borns" Hermione proposed

"If it is the sewers, it has to run to the black lake. and if it naturally runs to the black lake then it must have first been a cave and later became the sewers." Zabini

" why don't we just get a map of Hogwarts and all of its previous renovations on the sewage system?" Navarra

"Hmm, that would work... Nokby" Lucien called

Given nokby his instruction to find Hogwarts blueprint throughout its history even the smallest renovation had to be accounted for.

"We need to go back to Hogwarts. And check around the black lack for cave entrances." Lucien said

" Cant we send our golems for that. I mean they can't die. they're the best option" Said, Katie

"But, we still need to prepare to kill the basilisk, until the golems find an entrance to the chamber of secrets. " Lucien said

"And how do we fight what we can't see?" Zabini asked causing everyone to look at him with a questioning face

"OOhh I get it" Zabini finally caught on. the could use the mental abilities that Lucien had taught them to see without using their eyes.

From that point on The group had lived with a blindfold on and used nothing but their consciousness to see, Just as Lucien had.

They still fought by only using their innate abilities and the blindfold remained on at all times. Lucien left them to tondy and Visney. While Lucien and Nokby prepared more elixir for the house elves and yumboes

"You should have one Nokby. You deserve it." Said Lucien

"After Nokby has taken care of his people then, Ill accept master Lucien's goodwill," Said nokby

"How honorable, Nokby".

New years slowly approached the Dubois Manor. The Bennett ladies were anxious to whoop Lucien's a.s.s and the only thing on Lucien's mind was the Patronus charm.

Looking back over his memories of what the books said about the Patronus charm.

it was simply the happiest memory, the happiest memory should be enough to fuel the Patronus charm. Lucien plopped on the ground and began to expand his mind. meditating on the laws of transfiguration, what the spirit was, and the laws of charms and magical theory to figure out what he was doing wrong when he cast the Patronus charm.

It took Lucien until New years day to open his eyes after gaining a slight epiphany.

"I am life, and I am death. I am the destroyer and I am the protector. My happiness is nothing without sadness and misery. and sadness and misery would be everything if it was not for my happiness. I am the paradox of the world, destroyer of fate. truth and deception" Lucien realized his soul held all the answers to why he couldn't cast the Patronus charm.

To cast the charm. one must know themselves in the throes of danger. The Patronus is the spirit, that means it doesn't only protect the sorcerer but it also attacks for him, for it is the representation of the sorcerer.

And Lucien had died and been reborn allowing him to take on a new spirit form without casting away his old one. so Lucien had two spirits and just like his soul was two times as powerful when he first arrived. So if his soul collected the energy of both lives and death. then maybe his spirit can be compounded as well.

The next problem, Lucien, because his situation was not like everyone else. So the way the Patronus charmed is explained doesn't really apply to him. he wants to unleash his spirit animals, his alternative selves. while the Patronus charm wants to unleash a protector. the entire charm just isn't meant for him

"I don't need a spell to unleash my spirit. " Lucien muttered to himself and then mimicked the movements he used in his mindscape and unleash all of his magic. the pressure caused the ground to crumble and his magic produced two corporeal Patronus one for the previous life and one for the life he was living now

Lion separated from the pool of magic. and a great snake slithered out as well wrapping around the lion.

Lucien opened his jaws let out a deafening roar and the Patronus shot off. and then danced around Lucien as he drew his magic back in. when the lion and snake vanished Lucien waved his hand and conjured the lion again and with his other hand a snake.

Lucien put the snake away and thought about the laws of transfiguration and magical theory. He pulled the lion Patronus to him. and it grew bigger and bigger standing behind Lucien like a great avatar. and then it shrunk merged with Lucien.

"I am a king" Lucien muttered as the magic that formed the Patronus was the only blueprint Lucien needed. copying the exact pattern Lucien morphed into a giant all black lion with Golden eyes

letting out the deep growl the shook the air. a Snake Patronus appeared "I am the sage" And the Snake merged with Lucien and he repeated the same method and morphed from a lion to a giant white snake with deep amber eyes
