Miranda was in the kitchen whipping up some lemon filling for the pies, While Lucien was in the living room with her husband Grayson, Jenna, and their newborn daughter Elena.

"So, you're Abby's little cousin? On her mother's side?" Grayson asked

" yes, distant but very close. The family has been separated for a while. but they came together to find me. and we've all been together since." Lucien explained

"Find you?" Grayson probed

Lucien decided to tell him whatever he was looking for "Yes, I was given up. But my mother's name was on doc.u.ments, and after doing a genealogy report in school. I found my aunt Nita."

"That's good, we all need family. especially in this town" Grayson muttered the second half to himself.

'Maybe they're witches' Lucien thought. It was just something he felt about Grayson that put him off. Lucien let his consciousness expand and it enveloped the entire house...

His eyebrow twitched. Lucien felt the enchantment on Grayson's ring. and the watch in his pocket as well. They were strange, strong dark magic surrounded the ring; Lucien had felt it before, however, Lucien couldn't identify it. but the watch, the watch held some kind of locator enchantment.

"the pie is ready. Come on and give it a try" said Miranda

'f.u.c.k it' Lucien thought as he drew his consciousness back and went for some pie

Later that day Lucien took an extra pie with when Sheila came to pick him up. They went to the hospital together as the whole family was sitting around. They discussed where they were going to hold the blessing for Abby's newborn.

And then the topic was brought up that a few people were dreading. Not Lucien of course

"So, are you and the baby staying here? " Lucien asked

"What do you mean are we staying here? " Abby replied

"She doesn't have a life here. You do; however, she's obviously going to be more powerful than any of you, with a little time, of course, y'alls got a head start. But she needs to learn to control that magic. And I'm not saying Hogwarts. But at least she's will be free to be who she is at the Manor" Lucien explained

"Now, Lucien I'm sure we can compromise, this is a safe town, and they have a group of people that hunt the vampires for fun, as well. The witch population is only us. And it's a small town. Pretty much hidden I plain sight" Sheila said

"And what do you propose?" Lucien asked

"Half of us stay. We take our properties back. That's enough land to let us practice freely. And enough of us to teach and protect the girl. Anything you want her to know. Just send it." Joanna answered for the elders

Lucien felt something was off. Like an itch, he couldn't scratch

"Does this have anything to do with those gilberts?" He asked

"I felt strong enchanted object on that Grayson. But they aren't witches. What's going on?" He asked

"Lucien how bad you want the Bennett family to rise to power. How strongly do you want us to become?" Sheila asked

"All the way to the top and that's why she needs."

"She has her own destiny and you have yours. And when the time comes you both will meet in the middle. You have schemes of your own in motion, all us to handle this" Mama Thea interrupted him

Lucien looked around the room. He could tell this was the elders' plan and the young ones had no idea what was going on

"what do you want?" Lucien asked

mama Thea spoke. " to let the girl be raised here, our way. Elves. And half of the family stays here'

"who stays and who goes?" Asked, Lucien.

"everyone here can decide where they want to go. But half must stay" Said Mama Thea

Isabelle, Sophia, Olivia, Pauline, Mia, and Ava were all going to be staying in Mystic Falls with Sheila and Abby.

While Zhura, Leanna, Joanna, Lucy, Nita, Mama Thea, Charlotte, And Emma were going back to the Isle of Mull with Lucien.

Lucien really didn't mind, as long as the family was safe. That was all that matter, at least for now, Lucien, was in no state to lose another family member, Do to the pain of losing his first mother and only able to talk to his mother in spirit form. But, he would find a way to fix that.

After all of the family affairs were ironed out in detail, everyone went to find the property that belongs to the old Bennett Coven.

In the mystic falls Library. The Bennett family could be seen reading through land records, town history, and death certificates

"Lucien, we could only find information going back around one hundred years. And we all know the Bennetts have been here longer than this. " Said Zhura

" I know this. The grimoires tell of many tragic deaths in the family. One specifically was a massacre in the 1700s. We fled Salem and formed this town. However, we still managed to all burn somehow and somewhere. The how isn't important, it's the where that matters. Find anything on local witch trails in and around" Lucien replied to Zhura, and the family begin again

It was around 7 o'clock in the evening when Leanna shot up

"I found it. It's a small section of the civil era, right around the time of the town's founding. Civilian's burned in a church. And not long after a woman was taken and burned at the stake for witchcraft in 1864." Leanna summarized the excerpt

"Her name was Emily Bennett; we all descend from her children. The only problem is, the grimoires never said where she was burned" Sheila added

"Haha, why don't we ask here?" Said Lucien

And the ladies smiled as they joined hands and started to chant an incantation. All of the light in the Library went out, a young woman in a bonnet and 1800's style dress appeared.

" Why have so many of my children called me?" Emily spoke

"We need to know where you died?" Sheila asked

"Hmm, and why is that?" Emily replied with a question

"The family is moving back, and it has been so long. We don't know where our land is. So we assumed you had been killed close to home" Lucien informed here

"Ahh, you're the boy all the spirits have been gossiping about." Emily walked over to Lucien put her hand on his head, chanted a few words and sharp stabbing pain went through Lucien's head.

"There's no reason family should make it hard on each other, Besides, no one can stand leaving on that land beside a Bennett anyway" Emily vanished after that and the lights came back on

"I know where it is, and one Bennett didn't just die there. More than a hundred did" Said Lucien with a heavy breath
