After Lucien's first summoning class, all of the students went down to the forbidden forest to start the second part of the class, Care of magical creature. It had a twist though. The class was aimed at the building a relationship with the creatures in order to open up dialogue, hopefully lead to the contracting of the creature. Once the creature was contracted with the wizard. It functioned in a similar way as the contracts with house elves. The wizard would feed the creature magic so that they could aid the wizard in battle.

Depending on the relationship between the wizard and creatures, changes in the creatures varied. There were hippogriffs that had flaming feathers. Lightning Snakes. Light attributed centaurs. Summoners carried around pocket dimensions for their contracted beast and whenever they went to battle the beast could be summoned from inside the pocket dimension or any were in the world. But the further the beast, the more power it required.

Hagrid taught the class. With Lucien's and Zabini' s enrollment in Summoning 101, The were not at Slytherins first magical creatures' class, Supposedly Draco was injured, and Hagrid was losing his nerve as a professor.

When the class finally met Hagrid, Lucien walked over to him, to have a little chat.

"Hiya Lucien"

"How are you doing Hagrid, With the whole Ministry inquire and the Malfoy's gunning for you?"

"well ya know, I try not to think about it. Dumbledore recommended I bring the classes down a notch until everything gets worked out."

Lucien gestured for Hagrid to join him away from the rest of the class

"Hagrid, as far as I heard. You are the beast person Hogwarts has for this job. Do me a favor and teach this class exactly what you planned for us, before the whole Malfoy incident. If I like it, I'll have my grandmother take care of Lucius Malfoy. That Declining family should know better than to dabble in Hogwarts business."

"Why'a think ya Lucien. I really do appreciate it."

Hagrid pulls Lucien into a big bear hug

"Haha no problem, just teach me what I came here to learn."

Lucien turned to join the class and Hagrid addressed the class. He told them to relax for a moment and un-robe, while he went to prepare their new lesson.

"Zabini, I need your help"

"Anything"

"Take care of Malfoy, I want him to know that this place, is not the Malfoy Manor. I don't want to hear about his childish antics no more. Break his f.u.c.k.i.n.g legs if you have too"

Zabini nodded his head in understanding and began to walk back to the Castle.

When Hagrid returned, the class was amazing. Hagrid had led the entire class to the black lake. He had explained that when contracting with the beast, changes accrue in the beast and they become evolvable variants.

Shortly after Hagrid's well-spoken lecture, a merman walked out of the black lake, with a trident in hand.

"Haha Hagrid, I'm glad you called. "

The Merman and Hagrid hugged, and the lesson continued. The merman went over the proper etiquette when dealing with merpeople and ways to build relations that could lead to a successful contract. Firsthand knowledge was making Lucien lose his mind.

During that class, many people saw Lucien in a new light, if he wasn't wearing black and green robes, many would think he was Ravenclaw.

After class, Lucien was in such a good mood, on a whim he invited Padma to the island in the middle of the black lake

"The middle of the black lake? Isn't that dangerous?"

"Not at all love, I want to show you something. And at then end of our little rendezvous I hope you can start to accept, whatever is that's making you doubt your wonderful existence"

Padma smiled

"Well I did say I'm available anytime, but what about dinner Lucien?"

"I'll take care of everything you just meet me at the boat house, okay?"

"okay."

Lucien went through his classes as they were scheduled and turned back time to complete his last three. But instead of going to dinner he went to the Island in the middle of the black lake, also known as bowtruckle Island.

Conjuring torches attached to the trees creating a pathway, and then conjuring a table and chairs from the earth. Lucien pictured the most exquisite furniture in his mind and manifested it into reality. It was something about Padma's Personality that started warp his original plan, by giving birth to real feelings inside of him.

"My lord, whenever you are ready, call for us and dinner will be here"

"Thank you, Colby,"

Lucien finished preparing the island, when Somebody tripped his wards set around the docks.

When he appeared, Padma was looking around waiting for him, at the docks in her robes.

When Lucien appeared, a smile appeared on her face , and Lucien felt as if lightning struck. Her eyes shined with light that Lucien was very familiar with.

"Oh, this simply won't do. Allow me?"

Padma kept her smile and nodded; Lucien felt there wasn't a need to hide. He waved his hand and Padma's robes turned into a beautiful black and gold dress.

"Do you like it?"

Padma ran her hands against the dress and gave Lucien an elegant spin

"I love it"

Lucien called for a house elf and she apparated him and Padma on to the shores of the small island.

The night went well as Lucien and Padma ate and talked about school and their hopes that the year would bring.

When they were finished. Lucien brought Padma to the opposite side of the Island.

"I brought you here to show you, that there are many people, that have many faces, that they do not show everyone. After hearing the struggle in your voice and seeing the exhausted, loneliness in your eyes. I want to show you my faces. I want you,to know who you care for"

Padma began to tense up. And but stood still and firm, radiating confidence and fearlessness. Something within her told her that Lucien would give her something that no one could. One hundred percent truth, from that moment until the end of time.

Lucien took a few steps back and exploded with blue mist. Morphing into a black lion the stood nearly six feet tall. He walked closer to Padma and stared into her eyes with vibrant deep golden eyes, that held wisdom beyond her years.
