Harry Potter and the Old Ones

Chapter 127 Rubber Hands

It's the Golden Snitch!

Harry spun his broom quickly and flew towards the golden light, but—

"Boom—"

As Harry was chasing the Snitch, the Bludger finally hit him, hitting his elbow so hard that Harry felt his arm snap.

A searing pain made Harry feel slightly dizzy as he slid sideways on the rain-soaked broom, one knee still hooked to the broom, his right hand dangling unconsciously beside his body.

The Bludger strikes him a second time, this time aiming for his face.

Harry jerked away from his original direction, and only one thought firmly occupied his already dull mind:

Catch the Golden Snitch!

Harry's uninjured hand let go of the broom and reached out to grab it viciously—

He felt his fingers take hold of the cold Snitch, but with only his legs now holding the broom, he was plummeting straight to the ground, fighting to keep himself from passing out, when he heard the crowd below There was an exclamation in the middle.

There was a bang, a splash, and Harry fell into the mud and rolled off the broom.

His arms hung there at a very odd angle. In fits of agony, he heard many whistles and shouts, which seemed to come from a great distance. He took a closer look and saw that the Golden Snitch was firmly held in his uninjured hand.

"Aha!" Harry exclaimed excitedly, but the rain quickly choked his throat. "We won! We won!"

Then he lay down heavily on the field, the rain splashed on his face.

But the Bludger obviously didn't intend to let Harry go, but fell heavily from above Harry's head——

Then Harry dodged it again, and the Bludger slammed heavily into the mud between Harry's legs, making a big hole.

Harry felt a chill down his crotch.

I saw the Bludger flying up into the air again, and then smashing down heavily——

Only this time it didn't fall, because Tierra arrived in time.

But Tierra didn't draw out her wand, but threw the black "diary" upward——

The "diary" was suspended in mid-air, and it automatically turned to a certain page——

Five large Chinese characters appeared in the book, and the five Chinese characters joined together to form a destructive thunder, gushing out of the book and smashing towards the Bludger——

The lightning at that moment seemed to illuminate the entire stadium——

For a moment—

For a brief moment, Harry saw a strange, hideous look of greed in Lockhart's face as he ran toward them—

Then Harry saw a row of gleaming teeth—

Lockhart was already crouching beside Harry, drawing his wand—

"Oh! No, don't, don't want you." Harry moaned, looking at Tierra in despair——

"He has no idea what he's talking about," Lockhart said loudly, as Harry was surrounded by anxious Gryffindors.

"Don't worry, Harry. I'm about to fix your arm." Lockhart rested his wand on Harry's broken arm.

"No!" Harry yelled, "just let it be, thank you..."

He tried to sit up, and he saw Tierra running towards him, but was blocked by the Gryffindor wall—

Harry saw the panicked look on Tierra's pale little face—

Harry was desperate—

He seemed to understand a little bit what the second half of the prophecy meant.

Lockhart twirled his wand, and a second later, he aimed it at Harry's arm.

A strange, very uncomfortable feeling shot from Harry's shoulders to the tips of his fingers like lightning.

It was as if his arms were being pumped out. He didn't dare to see what was going on, closed his eyes, and turned his face to one side.

But when people around him were gasping and Colin Creevey was busy taking pictures again, he found his worst fears had come true. His arm no longer hurts—

But it feels like he can't feel his arm at all!

Protruding from Harry's sleeve was what looked like a thick, flesh-coloured rubber glove. He tried to move his fingers, but there was no response.

Lockhart hadn't set Harry's bones properly. He removed all the bones.

"I also saw—your right hand, soft as rubber—"

The second half of Tierra's prophecy resounded in everyone's heart at the same time.

Everyone present looked at Tierra, they were so shocked by this precise prophecy that they forgot to blame Lockhart.

Harry was carried into the hospital hospital by Tierra and Ron.

But obviously, seeing Harry like this, Madam Pomfrey was not happy.

"You should have come straight to me!" she said angrily, holding up the poor lifeless thing, which had been a free arm only half an hour before.

I can put bones together in a second, but to grow them back—"

"You will too, won't you?" Harry asked urgently.

"Of course I will, but it will hurt," Madam Pomfrey said sternly, throwing Harry a set of pajamas. "You'll have to spend the night here—"

Harry drew the curtains around the hospital bed, and Tierra and Ron helped him into his pajamas, scrubbing his body and hair of rain and mud along the way.

Hermione had to wait outside.

It took them a lot of work to tuck the rubbery, boneless arm into the sleeve.

When she was dressed, Madam Pomfrey walked around the curtain.

Madam Pomfrey was holding a large bottle labeled "Skeletons" on it.

"It's been a tough night," she said, pouring out a mug of steaming water and handing it to Harry. "Bones are a tough thing."

Drinking bone spirits is bad enough. It burned in Harry's mouth and down his throat, making Harry cough and spit.

Tierra quickly picked up the water glass on the bedside table and fed Harry a few sips of water.

Madam Pomfrey backed away, still smacking her lips, complaining that the sport was too dangerous and the teachers were incompetent.

After Madam Pomfrey left, Gryffindor's teammates walked in noisily.

Most of the teammates have washed up, and they brought cakes, candies, several bottles of pumpkin juice, and a Golden Galleon for each of them——

These teammates, after putting down their visits, began to squeeze in Tierra to apply, hoping that Tierra would also make a prophecy for them.

Obviously, Harry's accident on the pitch and Gilderoy Lockhart's lame healing spell made Tierra's prophetic reputation once again resound throughout Gryffindor College, and even many other colleges The student followed behind with a gold gallon to find Tierra to prophesy——

"Give us another prophecy, Tierra!" said a lanky Hufflepuff boy. "Anything!"

"Okay—" Tierra shrugged and said with a smile, "if you don't keep quiet—"

Tierra deliberately elongated her voice:

"We'll be kicked out by Madam Pomfrey soon—"

"What are you doing!?" Tierra hadn't finished speaking when Madam Pomfrey ran out of the dispensing room next to her, waving her stirring rod, "Get out of here! Get out of here! The patients need to be quiet. rest!"

So, Harry was left alone in the ward, and nothing distracted him. He only felt the pain of a knife cutting his limp arm.
