Suddenly, there was a short and harsh sound of creaking outside the door, and Harry saw an indistinct black silhouette.

Ron wiped a clean spot on the windowpane and was looking out.

"There's something moving in there," said Ron tremblingly, "I guess people are going out..."

The door of the carriage flew open, and someone fell painfully onto Harry's lap.

"I'm sorry! You... do you know what happened? Ouch! I'm sorry—"

"Hello, Neville." Harry recognized the voice, touched Neville's coat in the dark, pulled him up, and then pushed him to the opposite side——

Pushed to the row of seats where Ron and Hermione were.

. "Harry? Is that you? What happened?" Neville asked.

"I don't know! Sit first—"

There was a loud hiss and a cry of pain, and it turned out that Neville had sat on Crookshanks by mistake.

"I'm going to ask the driver what's going on." It was Hermione's voice.

Harry thought she passed him and heard the carriage door open again, followed by a dull bang, and then two squeaking screams.

"Who? Who is it?"

"Ginny?"

"Hermione?"

"What are you doing here?"

"I've come to see Ron -" said Ginny.

But Tierra, who had evolved her heat-sensing ability through flesh and blood magic just now, "saw" Ginny's body temperature rise slightly in the dark, and then walked towards Harry——

Come in, sit down—" Harry touched Ginny and pushed her towards Ron.

"Ouch!" Neville yelled again, evidently Ginny had carefully stepped on his foot along the way.

"Quiet!" Suddenly a hoarse voice said. Professor Lupine seems to have finally woken up.

Neither of them spoke again.

There was a slight crackling sound in the carriage, and a shivering light appeared.

Professor Lupine appears to be holding a fire.

The firelight illuminated Professor Lupine's tired, gray face, but his eyes were alert and cautious.

"Stay where you are," he said, in the same gruff voice.

Then Lupine stood up slowly, the flame in his hand stretched out in front of him.

But before he could reach the carriage door, it opened slowly.

Standing in the doorway, illuminated by the flickering light of the fire in Lupin's hand, was a cloaked monster as tall as the ceiling. Its face is completely hidden under the hood.

A hand protruded from the cloak, a hand gleaming gray and thin and scabbed like something dead and soaked in water to rot.

The monster under the cloak seemed to have noticed this carriage.

The dry and disgusting hand stretched out from under the cloak again, and waved it in the corridor.

The compartment door locked from the inside was easily opened——

The monster poked its head in from the corridor, and it seemed to be attracted by someone inside.

The monster approached Harry first, "sniffed it", seemed to be a little moved, but still a little dissatisfied, so it turned to Tiera who was sitting next to Harry——

The dementor seemed to be attracted by some delicacy, opened something under the hood, and took a trembling breath——

Nothing.

Tierra didn't feel anything—

That's not quite right.

To be more precise, Tierra felt a cool breeze blowing on her face.

After taking a sip, the dementor froze for a moment.

I still want to get closer and take a second breath——

But immediately after, a white light lit up behind Tierra——

From the tip of Lupine's wand extended a glowing, warm halo.

The aperture formed the shape of a shield—

And the dementor that came into contact with the aperture screamed and exited the carriage as if scalded by boiling water.

After a while, the lights above the carriage came on, and the floor shook——

The Hogwarts Express is running again.

"Are...are you alright?" Harry asked nervously, then stretched out his hand to hold Tierra, "Just now, that monster suddenly approached you just now, we were all frightened."

"It seems to have sucked something from you!" Ron also leaned over and said.

"I didn't..." Tierra noticed that Lupine was also paying attention to her out of the corner of her eye, so she could only control her body to shudder, and then turned pale——

"I feel so cold," Tierra said, "It's as if all the joy is gone."

"It's like I'm back in the time when I was bullied in the orphanage." Tierra glanced at Lupine and added.

"Here." Professor Lupine took out a large piece of chocolate from his pocket, then broke the large piece of chocolate into small pieces and handed it to Tiera, "Eat it, it will be good for you."

Then after thinking about it, Lupine broke off another large piece of chocolate and handed it to Harry: "Here, I'll give you a piece too."

"Thank...thank you." Harry took the chocolate inexplicably, but didn't eat it.

"What was that?" Harry asked.

"A dementor," said Lupine, handing out chocolates to everyone, "one of the most vicious monsters in the world, a dementor from Azkaban."

Everyone stared at him. Professor Lupine crumpled up the empty chocolate wrapper and put it in his pocket.

"Eat it." He said again, "It's good to eat. I want to talk to the driver, come on, excuse me."

He walked past Harry and disappeared into the corridor.

"You're sure you're all right, Tierra?" Hermione asked as soon as Lupine disappeared, looking at Tierra anxiously.

"It's okay." Tierra said, ate the chocolate in her hand, then wrapped herself in the wizard's robe, and sat where Lupine had just been sitting, by the window.

"I'm just a little sleepy." Tierra closed her eyes and said, while recalling some of the knowledge she got from the "inheritor" in her memory palace——

After a few months passed, the spiritual dimension of the "Inheritor" was initially constructed, and Tierra could already read some knowledge from it——

But it took a while for Tierra to digest this mere knowledge.

"Let me sleep for a while." Tiera said.

About a quarter of an hour later, Professor Lupine turned around and came back.

He paused as he entered, looked around, smiled, and said, "I didn't poison the chocolate, you know..."

Harry tried a bite too, and to his great surprise a sudden warmth spread over the tips of his fingers and toes.

"We'll be at Hogwarts in ten minutes," said Professor Lupine, then looked Harry in the eye and held out his hand—

"Hello, Harry," said Lupine.

Harry could feel the sweat on Lupine's hands—

But very warm.

Harry didn't ask how Professor Lupine knew his name, Harry had heard too many unanimous accounts.

"Okay," Lupine murmured, as if embarrassed. As if, sitting on the seat near the door, next to Harry, rubbing his hands nervously.

They didn't talk much for the rest of the trip.

Finally, when the train finally stopped at Hogsmeade Village, Harry gently woke up Tierra, and then several young wizards hurriedly cleaned up before finally stepping on the platform of Hogsmeade Village.
