Following our retreat, we all met up at the Malfoy manor which was soon fortified with magic and runes. I appeared out of the shadows at the same time that Voldemort apparated. The death eaters along with Lucius, Snape, Quirrell, and Wormtail were all wondering what their next course of action would be. I didn't care too much since I was just here for Voldemort to finish his side of the deal.

We soon entered the manor with Lucius guiding the way. We came to the main room of the manor in which Voldemort waved his wand a few times, fashioning a throne for him to sit on. Everyone present kneeled to him. Everyone but me, of course. I rolled my eyes at this gesture of superiority.

"Voldemort, I finished my side of the deal. Now it's time for you to finish yours." I said, standing amongst the crowd of kneeling subjects.

"Yes, yes. I'm aware." He then waved his hand and five books stacked on top of each other appeared out of thin air. "This is my collection of knowledge that I have personally gained over my quest for power. It is separated from least complicated to most complicated." He said as he waved his hand a gain and the books floated over to me. I motioned my hand over the books and they disappeared, falling into my rings storage space. This made Voldemort's eyes go up in shock. "You are very powerful for your age, boy. Where did you learn such frightening levels of magic?"

"I'm self taught." I explain vaguely. This made Voldemort roll his eyes. "But I have prepared a gift as I show of our partnership and or friendship." I say as a white stone appears in my hand. "This is one of my own creations that I invented especially for you." I explain. "I call it Breath of Life. It repair the fraction of your soul that is in you right now to one hundred percent without destroying your horcruxes, but it can only be used once." I tell him as the stone levitates from my hand and flies towards Voldemort.

"I will remember this gesture." The dark lord says as he takes the stone. When he does, the stone fuses with his hand and his whole body glows a bright white. When the glowing subsides, the snake-like deformities are gone and all that remains is a black haired man who seems to be at the age of sixty more or less. Voldemort stands up from his throne and summons a full body mirror in front of himself. When he sees himself in the mirror, he is shocked, to say the least. If I didn't know any better I'd think a tear rolled down his cheek but that must've been my imagination.

"I would like to ask you, however, to lie low for a bit. Dumbledore is still much more powerful than you and I." I say. "I plan on going into seclusion for a little bit so as to grow my power. I believe that would be a good idea for you as well."

"I agree. Dumbledore can't be beaten by us yet. I will also go into seclusion and increase my magical reserves as well as power."

"Good. I think we should start our assault five years from now." I offer as my eyes glow slightly. "You should keep the death eaters active though. Maybe a few attacks here and there on small magical communities."

"Yes, I think so too." He says, rubbing his chin. "How will we get in touch if anything goes awry?"

"Just send out your patronus." I say, shrugging my shoulders. "I'll make sure to come immediately." We then say our goodbyes and the shadows swallow me once again. Before I went into seclusion and started my intensive training there was still one other thing I had to do.

I appear right outside of Knockturn Alley. Word hadn't gotten around just yet of my new status as a dark wizard so it was fine for me to wander around for now. I walked into the alley and soon came to Borgin and Burkes. I walked into the shop and noticed both Borgin and Burkes standing behind the counter. Burkes looks at me suspiciously but Borgin immediately bows when he sees me, leaving a shocked expression on Burkes face. I then wave my hand in the air and Burkes falls to the ground. He wasn't dead, just asleep.

"I've come to tell you that I won't be coming to the store anymore." I say a if nothing out of the ordinary happened. "Send all the stuff to this address and I'll make sure to pick it up." I say, handing him a piece of paper. Once he memorizes the address it bursts into flames.

"I understand, my lord." He says, taking another deep bow. "My lord?" He asks, looking up from his bow.

"What is it?"

"I have come across something that I believe could be of some interest to you." He says as he scurries away to his counter. He pulls out a few boxes and finally opens one up. He pulls out a large sheet of weathered paper and hands it to me carefully. "This is a map that I have recently bought. No one knows what it leads to only that it is some kind of treasure. I believe it would be well worth your time to search for it."

"I see." I say, looking at the map. It did look very old so whatever it led to had to be something ancient but that didn't necessarily meant useful. "I'll think about it." I say as the map disappears. "You've done good, Borgin." I complement. "Just keep doing what you're doing." I say as the shadows swallow me up and I disappear from the store.
