Harry Potter: Rise Of The Serpent

Chapter 4 - Serpent Castle

The same feeling of being pulled through a tight tunnel makes itself known to me and a second later we're standing on a secluded island with an enormous castle a few miles a head of us. The castle was so huge that you could see it perfectly even being 20 miles away from it. The whole island was 20 miles out from the castle which is at the center of the island. There were all kinds of magical beasts roaming on the island but the most prevalent kind we of the serpent variety. All the snakes slithered to me and I quickly told them to back off using my parseltongue which they obey. The House Elves look at me with wide eyes.

Peanut: "Does my lord happen to be a parselmouth?" Peanut asks and I give him a small nod.

Peanut: "Ohh Peanut is so happy. Parseltougue is a sacred gift among the Serpent family. The family has created and stored many books on parselmagic for the lords to learn." The House Elf said.

This surprised me greatly. In Magical Britain, parselmouth was supposed to be an evil gift, the mark of a dark wizard and here I am learning that my family has numerous tomes on such a subject. This only increased my d.e.s.i.r.e to enter the castle. The House Elves apparated once again and this time we were in front of the castle gates.

We entered the castle and all the worming House Elves bowed and greeted me.

All House Elves: "Welcome to Serpent Castle, my lord." They said and promptly began working once again.

Sprinkles and Dorthy split off from us and started to do their work while Peanut continued to show me around the castle. He showed me the dinning room, ball room, guest rooms, master bedroom, potions laboratory, the study, the library and all of the other many rooms. We then came to the room that I thought was the most interesting, the Serpent Vault. All this time I had been wondering why I couldn't find any rare books or resources in Gringotts or in the study or library. I guess they were all kept in the family vault.

I pressed my ring against the vault and the door melted away, leaving the mountains of galleons, jewels, books and other things of that nature open to the eyes. I stepped into the vault and quickly headed to the the books. I looked through all of them and picked out a few that I had to try as soon as possible.

Parselmagic From Beginning to End, a Complete Guide: 25,000 pages

Ancient runes: 2,000 pages

Demonic Summoning: 2,500 pages

Blood Fusion: 10 pages

Rituals, All You Need to Know: 3,000 pages

These books were definitely the most dangerous but would also lead to the best results. I knew I had to get stronger and I had to do it quickly. I had nine months till September and if I really pushed myself I could definitely become quite formidable.

There were two rituals that I was interested in. Those two were the Body Part Replacement Ritual as well as the Vampire Turning Ritual. I already knew what body part I wanted to replace. It was going to be my eyes and I would trade them for Basilisk eyes which happened to be within the vault. I guess it makes sense though. I mean with a surname like Serpent, you must have some Basilisk parts. There was even some Basilisk venom. As for the vampire turning, this was an absolute must. The two races that make the best runes, wards, and enchantments are the Goblins and the Vampires. This is because both of these races have extremely long and precise claws with the vampire's claws being retractable. This helps you to draw runes more precisely and on smaller surfaces because instead of using the crude rune drawing tools, you could just use your nails which was extremely attractive to me.

I also found something incredibly peculiar. It was the Blood Fusion book. It only had 10 pages and seemed to be created by a previous member of the family. By the looks of it, the goal of the ritual was to merge the wizard/witch's blood with that of the creature of their choice. This could yield incredible results for me and I definitely had to do it.

The reason why I'm in such a rush to do all these rituals is because as you get older, your body stops growing and becomes more stable with itself. When it is completely stable then if I go past a certain amount of rituals I might become disfigured or die horribly. In order to get around this I have to do these rituals while I'm young in order to decrease the death chance.

There was just one thing that stopped me from doing the rituals and that was the absence of a daylight ring. I didn't want to be confined to the night so having a daylight right was a must. Making one will be a little difficult but shouldn't be anything harder than the ritual itself. I just have to study up on runes and enchanting then my interface should do the rest.

My final goal was to be a vampire with the fused blood of some kind of magical creature, the eyes of a basilisk and for my vampire claws to have the venom of the basilisk. This was an extremely tough thing to do and if I had any other choice I wouldn't try to do so much so quickly but seeing as how I've probably already angered Dumbledore I have to have as many tricks up my sleeves as possible.

On top of all this, I also have to create my own wand which I already have the basic outline for. My plane looks something like this:

Core: Basilisk Fang

Wood: Yew Wood with some kind of magical conducting metal.

Length: 12 inches

Sturdy

My goal is to make a wand completely based on death.

After organizing my thoughts and thinking through my plans I head out of the vault and walk to my study where I will begin to read and learn.
