Harry Potter’s Fantastic Animals Guide

Chapter 65: It's Hagrid's fault again!

"David, is there really no danger?" Just entering the forbidden forest, I saw the dark side of the surrounding area, and from time to time weird calls sounded, and Hermione, who was still excited in front of him, couldn't help but mutter.

She held David's hand, and she shrank tightly behind him.

"It's okay, I've been here many times." David pointed his finger at the surrounding locations: "These places have been cleaned up by Hagrid. The dangerous animals are in the depths. Today we won't go to those places."

   Hermione nodded slightly.

After walked a little further in, David put his thumb and forefinger in his mouth and blew a few whistles. The sound was a bit like a bird's call.

"What are you doing?" Hermione asked curiously.

"Look." David lifted his chin up, and after a while, a white figure appeared from the height of the trees, quickly approaching them, like an elf under the moonlight.

"Filax!" After the white elf flew close, Hermione exclaimed happily, "Why is it here?"

"I asked it to help me patrol the forest." David lifted his invisibility and waved to Felix. It flew over and stopped on a branch slightly closer to David, and glanced far away. They glanced.

"Filax, have you found anything lately?" David asked.

The white owl did not respond, maintaining its arrogant posture.

Seeing its posture, David was relieved instead, because Felix would not be so calm about what happened.

"Will you take us to the unicorn now?" As soon as David finished speaking, Felix fluttered his wings and flew slowly in one direction.

"Let's go, Hermione." David dragged Hermione with a deep and shallow heel behind Felix.

After walking for a while, Hermione suddenly said, "Will unicorns let me approach? I have read in the book, they don't seem to like to touch humans."

"Don't worry, they all let me approach, and they will definitely let you approach. Unicorns like beautiful little witches the most." David comforted.

Hermione's face suddenly showed a happy smile.

Suddenly, Felix hovering in the air screamed.

On the tall trees a little farther away, black shadows swayed between the branches, and at the same time, there were continuous chirping sounds.

David took out his wand and said softly, "Hermione, we may have a little trouble, do you want to see them? If you don't want to, we will leave immediately."

   "What?" Hermione asked.

"A kind of naughty little animal. Hagrid brought it to the United States and raised it in the forest, but he obviously has no experience. He couldn't control the number of them." David shrugged helplessly.

   "Is there any danger?"

"Of course not, otherwise I would have taken you away long ago." David said.

"Then we stay and have a look?" Hermione stared at the approaching black shadows with interest.

"Okay." David said, "But wait a minute, don't be scared."

Not long after David finished speaking, the trees around them kept clicking and clicking, and black shadows fell on the branches close to them.

Hermione used the moonlight to see the animals clearly.

They have a short horn on their heads, a big mouth almost reaching the base of their ears, and the teeth inside are like a sharp saw blade. A call is like a clown in a horror movie laughing with his mouth open. It was chilling, not to mention that David was squatting around them.

Under the shining of the moonlight, their skin is green and dotted with some black spots. Although they look like monkeys, they have no hair and are bald all over.

And Hermione also saw that their hands and feet had webbed like frogs, like a cross between a monkey and a frog?

They are also very agile. With their long hands and feet, they can easily jump to branches that are far together.

"This is a tree monkey frog?" Hermione asked softly.

"Well, it used to be only in the southern states of the United States, but the US Ministry of Magic listed them as traded goods in order to develop the economy." David introduced: "Some wizards who like to hunt for strange things went to buy and brought back their own. Countries, so they are everywhere now."

"And..." David looked up at the tree monkey frogs on the branches that formed a circle around them and were threatening: "When they left the United States, people knew that the trees had lost their natural enemies. How terrifying the monkey frog’s ability to reproduce is. If it weren’t for the horsemen, the heights of this forest might be their world.”

"Hagrid always doesn't care about this." David sighed, just like the eight-eyed giant spiders raised by Hagrid, the ecology of the area they are in has been completely destroyed by them, and there are still horses hunting every day. Kill them, stop them from continuing to expand, and expand the race.

Otherwise, this forest high above is the world of tree monkeys and frogs, and the ground is the territory of eight-eyed giant spiders, and it will be difficult for other animals to survive.

Better than them without them, and stronger than them without them~www.wuxiahere.com~ So the horse people really love Hagrid!

risked his life in the forest every day to help him wipe his ass.

"Horseman?" Hermione said in surprise, "Are there still horsemen here?"

"Well, they are the protectors of this forest. It just seems that they only like Hagrid. I have seen them a few times and they are not very friendly." David said.

The horse people were originally granted the status of "human" in the wizard's memories, but they were rejected, so they continued to be classified as "animals". They are detailed in the book "Where are the magical beasts". Introduction.

"Okay, let's go, the tree monkey frog is not as good as a unicorn." David finished, and the two of them became invisible.

The surrounding tree monkeys and frogs saw them disappear, and they screamed and jumped between the branches, looking for David and the others.

Seeing this scene, David suddenly rolled his eyes: "Hermione, wait a minute, follow me and run faster!"

"What do you want to do?"

Hermione heard David roar as soon as she finished her voice. His voice was a bit like a dragon's roar.

The tree monkeys and frogs on the branches came to a standstill as if pressing the pause button. The surroundings were quiet, and some standing on the edge of the branches fell to the ground.

There is a big pustule on their forehead, which is emitting a brilliant red light at this time, this is their stress response after being frightened.

Through the red light on the foreheads of many tree monkey frogs, the path in front of David and them became much clearer.

"Run, Hermione!" David said as he pulled Hermione up and followed Felix and ran away frantically.

Behind them, the tree monkey frog, which could not find the enemy, began to break off the branches and fruits from the tree, and threw them frantically on the ground.
