Adella's sisters-in-arms could hardly believe what they had heard. The runaway that insulted the royalty, the heretic warrior that denounced their ways and spat in the face of the gods, was the last personal guard of their queen. The subordinates felt their hands itch for the grasp of weaponry, but the identity of their foe was too troubling to risk a show of aggression. Suizu was in grave danger.

"Suizu, return to us!" Lelifa called out. "You cannot fight a red knight alone!"

The shock upon the armored woman's face was pleasing to Meek. More than she would have guessed. Hearing those words changed Suizu's expression from angry pain to fear, and it made Meek smile. The blonde with the flaming sword took a single step forward and her burned opponent took many more backward.

"How were you expecting to take me back?" Meek questioned. "This is a pretty pathetic showing."

"She insults us, Sister Adella," Smith, a tall woman of long brown hair said. "My war hammer will crush her skull. I will prove my worth."

"You're going to do no such thing," Adella replied. "Not alone."

All the armored women took their weapons into their eager grips. Their looks of iron resolve was another familiar sight to Meek.

"We do not grant heretics honorable terms," Adella said. "The four of you take her together. Do not fear for her life. Give all of the violence you keep."

The sisters yelled together, high and loud. Their call was a warning of death to any who could hear, but Meek did not fear them. With a quick adjustment of footing, Suizu aimed her sword and gave a forward thrust. The black blade stretched forward and reached out for Meek, but a step to the side and a deflecting guard saved her.

Meek ran towards Suizu but could not make contact. As the black blade was reeled in by its wielder, Lelifa came through the air and tried to skewer Meek with her spear. A quick roll to the side kept her from harm, but she had to duck her head immediately following the move as a short ax flew passed her. Smith came upon Meek and tried to bring her war  hammer upon the crouching target, only to strike ground and rumble the dirt in a small radius.

Meek gave a swing of her sword to Smith's face but the blade was held by Lelifa's spear just in time. The heat from the flames force Smith to back away to gather her senses. As Meek was wielding her weapon with one hand, she grabbed the spear with her left and pointed the flaming point towards Lelifa. Fire reached out from the sword and nearly engulfed its target but the armored woman let her weapon go and dodged the hot stream.

Meek stuck the spear into the ground as another ax came her way. The spinning weapon made contact with the shaft and missed its mark, as did another thrust of the growing black sword from Suizu. The outstretched blade found itself on the wrong side of the stuck spear, leaving Meek safe. Grabbing hold of the fallen ax before it was called back to Corinth, Meek threw the blade and it found its mark. Lelifa was too close and too slow. The ax blade rested in her face.

"No!" Suizu cried out in despair.

Smith lifted her war hammer high before she intentionally struck the grassy dirt before her. The ground rumbled and broke. Large sections violently shot upwards like the wrath of nature creating mountains and Meek was tossed upward. Realizing her plight, Meek sent fire from her sword into the air to conceal herself. Suizu and Corinth sent their weapons into the giant fireball but only one found blood.

Meek continued to send out fire as she fell so she would not be seen and she landed safely with but a moment of calm to think. Ignoring the shallow flesh wound on her arm was easily done. Smith's hammer strike had created randomized cover in the way of large formations sticking out of the ground. Meek ran up to the cover just as Smith caught sight of her. With a heavy swing the war hammer came but it was far too slow. Meek easily ducked the attack, letting the weapon slam into a tall ground formation and destroying it. With a quick thrust the flaming sword pierced Smith's armor at the c.h.e.s.t and the sister fell.

The sensations were returning to her. The l.u.s.t for the kill. The power coursing through her veins. Meek was feeling like her old self and it wasn't what she wanted, but it was necessary. Spending no time to reflect on her latest kill, she moved quickly through the ground formations to get near to another target. Meek would make quick work of the sisters and get back to eat a nice home-cooked meal, but she was denied.

When she was clear of the cover Meek saw the sisters had retreated back to Adella. Corinth and Suizu had collected the fallen and looked plenty angry with hot tears upon their cheeks. The veteran sister had not moved at all, her smiling expression holding firm.

"Well, I guess we're just not enough to take you home yet!" Adella said. "But, I'll come back once the other two sisters have made it here!"

"Who are the other two sisters?" Meek asked, walking towards her foes. "Should I be worried next time?"

"Oh, how cheeky you are!" Adella replied. "I'm not going to ruin the surprise! They've been dying to see you and it'll be such a nice reunion!"

Meek didn't like the sound of that. With an adjusted grip, she ran at Adella but could not reach her. The veteran sister raised her hands towards the charging heretic with open palms to the ground and in a flash of light they were gone. Meek let her run slow to a stagger as she sighed her frustration out. The flames of the sword went out and the weapon disappeared shortly after.

There wasn't any time left to waste. Meek had been found and she could no longer stay on the planet. She had been sloppy and careless. Making things worse, she was now endangering Moya. The blonde turned around to head back to the house and she caught sight of her worries. The masked woman was standing outside, holding two bowls of steaming food. Meek begrudgingly walked up to Moya, wondering how much she had seen.

"Ready to eat?" Moya asked. "Have a good workout?"

"You saw all that then?" Meek asked.

"I started watching when you put an ax in that woman's face," Moya replied. "Couldn't really hear the conversation. Old acquaintances of yours? They don't look like Hennessey thugs."

Meek sat in the grass and held her hands out for the bowl of chicken curry. It smelled great and Moya handed the food over before sitting down with her master.

"Well, there's no point in hiding it I guess," Meek said, stirring the food around with her spoon. "You want to know what all that was about?"

Moya took a bite of her creation and smiled big. It tasted as good as she had hoped, which was only loosely based on internet description as she had never eaten the food before.

"Tell me what you think of the food first?" Moya replied.

Meek took a big spoonful and chewed slowly. Her eyes grew wide and she couldn't help but smile. When Moya noticed it, she smiled even bigger and tried not to laugh.

"This is f.u.c.k.i.n.g good," Meek said between chews. "It's like, spicy and thick. I don't know how to describe what I'm tasting. I want to say it tastes, brown? I like that it's hot. And you've somehow managed to get me to eat vegetables even though plants are a stupid idea for food."

"It better be good," Moya said. "I hate handling raw meat. It's disgusting."

"You're all right with killing someone in bed but not okay with slimy chicken meat?"

Moya replied by getting the chills from the statement. Meek only shook her head at such ridiculousness. With her food securely in one hand, Meek grabbed Moya's leather mask and looked as if she would throw it in the field.

"Why do you make me wear that mask?" Moya questioned.

"Just to piss you off," Meek replied with a laugh. "You don't have to anymore. Shit has hit the fan, so, everything up until now is meaningless."

"I don't understand, but wouldn't I have to go to prison if I'm not your slave?" Moya questioned.

"No, we need to leave the planet," Meek explained. "Your crimes won't carry over to anywhere, so you can start over somewhere else. Find a suitable person to cut open."

"You say that so casually," Moya said, taking the mask. "I'll keep wearing it and following you around. I don't mind my life now."

"That sounds like Stockholm syndrome," Meek said, to the confused gaze of Moya. "Never mind that, but are you saying you like the way things are now?"

Moya looked down at her food with a thoughtful bit of chewing.

"You know, I think I am," she answered. "Is that so bad? If I'm attached to you, you're responsible for me, to an extent. I don't mind being taken care of. And you've been a lot nicer lately."

"And you've been a lot more confusing lately," Meek said. "First you're just some random murderer in the night on my way home, then you're a rapist assassin lying in wait for a whole f.u.c.k.i.n.g year, and then you want to fool around with me casually and cook food? You are either messed up in the head or I have even less of an understanding of people than I thought. What do you really want from me, Moya?"

Meek had much of her anger over the sisters replaced with a feeling of being lost. She and her slave had a very clear relationship in the beginning. Sitting in the grass eating lunch, Meek felt like they were much more.

"I don't know what I want," Moya said, looking up at the sky. "But, I think… I know, that I want to be doing whatever you're doing. Is that wrong?"

"From your side, probably not," Meek replied. "It sounds dangerous and stupid from my side, but I don't… want you to leave me?"

"Is that a question?" Moya asked, setting her food aside and crawling forward.

The slave was on all fours and holding a bent wrist up with a coy face. Meek tried hard not to laugh.

"What the f.u.c.k have you been looking at on the internet?" Meek questioned.

"There were advertis.e.m.e.nts for cartoon streaming sites and the characters were all really s.e.xy women," Moya explained. "I guess it doesn't work on you?"

The blonde put the tip of her finger underneath Moya's chin and brought her own face closer. She kept her lips parted and stared at her slave longingly.

"Should we get you some ears, little kitty?" Meek said in a breathy voice.

"U-um, I don't… I don't know, do you want to?" Moya stammered.

"Wow, you're f.u.c.k.i.n.g easy," Meek said with a big cheesy smile.
