Usually, he scolds his driver for playing the radio while he is in the car but today it felt awesome as every word of this particular song showered his heart with his memories of her...

He never got too close to her intentionally and always kept a distance but kept a closer look secretly, without even looking at her he could sense her presence, he recognises her footsteps. He never expressed but one part of him was always onto her. To the girl, he met a few years back on a foggy December morning. The one he always tried to keep away from but never succeeded. Many Decembers passed but the fog between them was as it used to be but he understood one thing that she is the one who can bring the best and the worst out of him, she is the one who made him feel more like himself when around. A restlessness conquers him whenever she is around and that makes him feel alive but in his heart, he knew that she doesn't feel the same way. She just vanished from Dehradun without any words just before he decided to confess his love for her and Her last words were that someone is waiting for her, as she told Amit before leaving Dehradun.. after that he also got indulged into his work probably in order to hinder himself to look back. But they met again and walked closer in course of time.

his ringing mobile broke his chain of thought and dragged him into reality.

It was his mother who called.

-"Hey what's up? how are you?? I mean Where are you??" she asked.

-"I am fine.. just on the way to the office..." he replied.

-"What??? should not you be on your honeymoon with your honey??" She sounded a little harsh.

-"Oh come on.. she is busy for her semester and even I am not free and by the way, it's not necessary for us." He said.

-" Ok I understand both of your busyness but it doesn't mean she will live somewhere else than your place. I have heard everything, at least you should live together." She said.

-"It's her choice mom.. and you don't even have any idea what she came across recently..." before he could continue his mom cut his words.

she said and cut the call but her last few lines kept hovering over his head.

-" Take me to Sehgal's mansion.." He ordered.

'this rich people and their changing moods..' the driver thought and took the U-turn ahead.

The mansion looked empty from outside, most of its servants left. Only an old servant opened the gate seeing Varun's car. Varun came here last time to left her home when they returned after their so-called marriage.

Amyra clearly told him to not to poke his nose unnecessarily in her matters and to contact her only for the matters they got married. after that, they only met once in lawyer's office regarding the legal issues of an auction of Sehgal's that's going to take place in few days. It's been 4-5 days that he hadn't met her, he was worried but didn't want to bother her against her will. But his mother's words made him scared and he couldn't help himself but came to see her.
