Hellsing: I Reincarnated As Seras Victoria

Chapter 93 - 93 - To Omashu Again

A week after the invasion failure, Zuko and Iroh were waiting at the fire nation port. Both uncle and nephew were there for one reason only; the letter that was sent as reply for Zuko. Said banished prince was in his room thinking to himself.

'Why didn't he just say something in the letter? Why make us wait for his decision?'

Zuko's thoughts were interrupted by a soldier reporting to them.

"Former General Iroh and Former Prince Zuko! Please come with us!"

"....very well." Iroh looks to his nephew and nods.

"....." the walk is silent and they reach the main area of the port.

The soldiers open the doors and Zuko is shocked to find his younger sister inside.

"ZuZu. Uncle Iroh, it's been way too long." She smirks confidently.

"Azula." Zuko grunts in annoyance because the way they left their last meeting was very hostile.

"Oh don't be such a spoiled sport. I'm here to take you home."

"W-What?" The prince was shocked beyond words at this.

"It's true. Father immediately told me to come get you as soon as he received your report. Of course, he was less than thrilled....but after the invasion failed, he understood."

"....he wants me to come home?" Zuko's voice was trembling but Iroh at the side had a hard glare.

'Ah uncle, still the shrewd one. But your naïveté will still make you come with me.' Azula smirks wider.

"Now come along. Father wishes to be reunited quickly." She walks out of the room and Zuko and Iroh follow her.

As they get nearer to her ship, Iroh notices the formation in which the soldiers ar weapon around them is almost like they're transporting prisoners. As soon as he recognizes this, he knew what was going to happen but didn't know how to tell his nephew.

They get to her ship and there are many soldiers to their sides with the captain on the ramp saluting the princess.

"Let's get going home captain."

"Of course princess." He bows to her before looking to his men.

"Cuff the prisoners-ah!" As soon as he said this he knew he f.u.c.k.e.d up.

Azula gives the captain a death glare as Zuko snapped out of his shock. Iroh strikes first as he kicks behind him and a large fireball was released against many of the soldiers behind him. Ten soldiers were knocked into the water below.

Azula fires a blue fire tornado against Zuko and he released one of his own. Unfortunately his own fire wasn't strong enough and some of hers got through. Just when it was about to hit him, Iroh grabbed the nearest soldiers and threw him in front of his nephew.

Zuko grunted in anger as he threw three fireballs at his sister. Azula deflected two of them but the third hit her leg making her kneel.

"You-!" She begins twisting her arms around her in a strange way that only Iroh recognized.

Lightning forms at her finger tips making Zuko still.

"No!" Iroh yells and runs forward before grabbing the hand in which she was going to releasing the lightning.

She can see the lightning go into her uncle and then out his other hand which was pointing into the sky. The shock of it let him use his stomach to push her away. Zuko took his turn to grab her arms from behind.

"Was this father's decision!?" He asks her angrily as the remaining soldiers stop their actions.

"....." Azula tried to break free but isn't getting anywhere.

"Tell me!"

After a few seconds, Azula gives a malicious smirk and looks up at him.

"Yes, he ordered me to come capture you as traitors. If I remember correctly he said, 'capture that failure and throw him in prison so he will stop ruining our family name.' He is very angry at you."

The answer made Zuko stop holding her as it was too much. Even when he was prepared for such an answer; to hear it come true is still a shock.

Azula felt his grip loosen and she stepped on his foot before backhanding him in the face. Zuko g.r.o.a.n.e.d in pain and she was about to throw a fireball at him when Iroh tripped her over the edge of the ship.

"We have to go!" He grabs Zuko's hand and they both begin running away.

"Princess!" A soldier in the water begins swimming toward her.

"What are you all doing!? Chase them!" She commands the rest on land who are gawking at her and they begin to scramble.

An hour later, both Iroh and Zuko are on a giant beast heading to a safe area to rest. They are both gasping for breath and have many bleeding cuts all over their bodies.

Due to seras' existence, Azula brought many more soldiers than she would have which made their escape much more difficult than it should have been. Iroh looks behind him and decides to stop the reptile beneath them.

"Uncle?" Zuko tiredly asks.

"We're safe for now, but we need a way to escape the fire nation."

Iroh lets their ride go as he knows that they can be tracked by some other beasts the firenation rears. He and his nephew hide behind a wall of trees and bushes to take a rest. Coincidentally, it's right by a cliff which has a view of the port they escaped from.

Zuko was looking at the sh.i.p.s coming and going and for the first time feels lost. When he was banished he had a goal; capture the avatar and return home. It was long-shot odds bordering on impossible, but it was still a direction he an toward.

'But now....' he looks at his hands which are trembling from so many emotions running through him.

"Uncle....does he really think so badly of me?"

"....I don't know. It could be a trick by Azula." He offers an answer but knows it to be untrue.

"Heh, that's true. She would do something like that." He looks at his uncle with sad eyes before continuing.

"But I know it's not true....she was right."

"Who was?"

"That blonde woman. She told me he was worse than a beast and I didn't want it to be true. But with this...." he forms fists with as much force he can which cut his palms.

"Zuko...."

"Why!? Why did he do this!?" He yells.

"Zuko."

"I only wanted to protect the soldiers lives! He banished me for giving my own opinion! Sent me on a hopeless quest for redemption that he would never give!"

"Zuko!" His uncle stood up with difficulty which made Zuko look at him.

"For such a thing....he would really condemn me?" Tears fall from his eyes.

Iroh hugs his nephew which is reciprocated fully. Zuko cries into his uncles shirt for the first time in many years. The elder rubs the back of his head gently.

"It's not you Zuko. The man my brother has become is as you said, worse than a beast. You are an amazing child that any parent would be lucky to have."

Zuko cried for a while longer and eventually let go with an embarrassed look. Iroh laughs at this and begins rummaging through his pockets to produce a small bag of tea along with a small tea pot.

"Now come, I have saved this tea for a long time. I wanted to have it when my son became a General."

"Uncle..."

"However....having it when my other son finally opens up to me, is just as nice." He smiles gently at Zuko which makes the boy tear up again.

"Heh, I'll get some firewood." He wipes the oncoming tears and walks to a bush.

It's been a little over five weeks since the end of the war and a whole month since Seras has arrived at the Northern Water Tribe. Other than the few dozen deaths of the warriors, life for the tribe seem to have ever changed except for one very important thing.

'Yes, they seem to be actually living now.' She smirks as she watches the tribes people move about their lives from her bedroom window.

Her peaceful morning is interrupted when the door slams open and an angry Katara storms in. Seras just sighs because practically every morning she does this and it's always because of a single person.

"Why does he keep joking around with the lessons!? I know he has learned a lot but he can do more if he just tries!" She hops back into the couch while saying this.

"He's only twelve Katara."

"But I'm only thirteen!" She yells to Seras.

"True, but girls always m.a.t.u.r.e faster than boys. Remember what Sokka did on his latest date with Yue?"

"Ugh! Don't remind me of that travesty." She shivers from the memory.

"Haha, ok. Dont worry about Aang though. Form what I hear, you're a master water bender now."

"...I'm not there yet..." she blushes while mumbling.

"Don't be modest. Pakku has told me all about his star pupil." She blushes even more after Seras says this.

Katara was silent for a few seconds before her embarrassed look turns sad.

"We're leaving tomorrow though. I'm going to miss this."

"The tranquility?"

"Not just that....but I just don't like always running around the world without stopping for more than a couple days. The stability is nice, you know?"

"Yes, I do." Seras stares out the window once again and Katara decides to change the point of conversation.

"Anyway, Master Pakku did tell me that I'm a master now, but he says that he is nowhere near close to the level you're at. Is there anyway you can teach me?" She begs with puppy dog eyes that Reminds Seras of Basky.

'I can't say no to that...' she gives a sigh.

"Hmm....I don't see why not. I have learned all I can from Yagoda and Pakku through practice and conversation. I believe I have enough control to teach you."

"That's Great! Can you teach Aang too?"

"No. My version of water bending requires knowledge he doesn't know and has no patience to learn. You can teach him when he's ready after I'm done teaching you."

"Great! I can't wait!" She hops up and runs out of the room with a much happier look than what she went in with.

After Katara left, Seras looked out to the walls of the water tribe and had a single thought.

'I can't wait to meet Toph, she was always my favorite character in the show. Although it's not very clear when the gang meets her.'

When Seras arrived in the Avatar Universe, it was mid-November. Now it's the beginning of March and there are only 6 months until Sozen's comet arrives and she can go home.

'I've been here longer than Hellsing but it's not home...' she grabs her c.h.e.s.t and feels the pain of homesickness for the first time in a long time.

The next day, the gang were loading Appa up in the plaza of the palace surrounded by almost the entire tribe. Many people surrounded Seras and thanked her for doing stuff for them which made her blush a little.

Yue and Sokka were in their own world when her father came close and gave Sokka a death glare. The boy cowered behind Yue who only giggle at his antics.

"Yue, I need to talk with Sokka for a minute. Why don't you say goodbye to Ms. Victoria while I do so?" He gives her a gentle smile.

"Ok, Father."

When she is gone, Arnook looks at Sokka with a grim face. Sokka could only look around for help but was purposefully ignored by everyone who were grinning knowing looks. The Chief grabbed Sokka's shoulders with both hands and squeezed very tightly.

"Uuhhh...." Sokka g.r.o.a.n.e.d but Arnook interrupted.

"Now, Sokka."

"Yes~~!?" He stands straighter.

"For this past month my daughter has gotten quite attached to you. As a father, I am both happy and sad. Do you understand?"

"Yes?"

"You do? That's good!" He laughs beofre leaning closer with an even more grim look.

"So you know that, if you hurt her in any way, whether it's, emotional or physical, I will not stop until I hunt you down, right?" He squeezes the boys shoulders to the point there is a cracking noise.

"Y-yes sir! I will not let her down!" He gives a salute through the pain and Arnook finally lets go.

"Good. I expect you to be an upstanding gentleman in every way." He slaps his back and walks away with a normal smile making it seem like nothing happened.

As Sokka was rubbing his shoulder, Yue's mother walked next to him and touched his cheek gently.

"I hope you have a safe journey along with the others."

"Yes! Thank you-"

"And I know that woman are the fairer s.e.x, but do know that we can act just like Platypus Bear mothers when our cubs are hurt." Her expression which is usually so gentle turned frightening in Sokka's eyes before it quickly goes back to normal

"YES~~!"

"Heh, good. Now, this is goodbye for a while."

"Woman are scary...." he mumbles with some tears dropping as he climbs on appa.

Aang receives a scroll from Pakku of water bending forms, Katara receives water from the Spirit Oasis, and Seras received a lot of gifts from the tribesmen and stored them in her inventory for later.

They all climb on Appa with Aang at the front and he yells yip yip. Appa begins flying and he heads south east to the Earth Kingdom. Everyone looks behind them until the tribe is out of sight and finally know they're on their journey again.

"Now then guys! I believe we all need a recap as to where we're going and what we're planning to do." Sokka slaps his hands together and begins rummaging through his bag.

"Why? We talked about our plans last night?" Katara asks you which Aang nods in confusion.

Even Seras was giving him a questioning look.

"But if I don't say it, how will anyone know where we are going?" Sokka asks back.

"What do you mean anyone? We're the only ones here!" Katara yells in annoyance.

"Don't know." He shrugs while rolling out a map.

"Now then, our plan has one goal in mind and that is to find Aang an earth-bending master to learn from."

"I don't know why Seras can't just teach me."

"Because, I've never learned how to earth-bend. I've taught myself and I don't want to teach you wrong. I can give advice, but full on teaching? No way." Seras states.

'I would actually, but I want to meet Toph.'

"Ugh, fine. That's why we decided to go to Omashu! That's where Bumi is and he is a great earth bender."

"Exactly! We are heading back to the Earth Kingdom City of Omashu!"

"Again! Who is that for!?" Katara is annoyed again.
