During that day hours before the beginning of the celebrations of the foundation day, I came inside a pub wearing a hood as I heard the people sing along with the bard saying: "let me live! "Excuse..." I said, to the bartender who was humming the song. I bit her lip and continued "Excuse, sir can I have some tea?"

The bartender's eyes widen and tapped the table exactly twenty times and suddenly a man beside her stood up and whispered "Follow me..."

I nodded and followed the disheveled looking man across the crowd singing "Let me live, oh let me live!!! Oh, evil tyrant-"

As I move through the crowd I saw the man's mouth move trying her something. So I pretended to hear it and just smiled at him as the man rolled his eyes.

The man came in front of me and held my arm as he pulled me through the crowd and into a small narrow hallway that had a door at the end of it. When I was in front of the door the man opened the door and said "Go in, hurry! "

The man suddenly started pushing me inside the darkroom and closed the door behind me as quickly as he could.

"Ugh... who dares ruin my sleep? " A voice said from the distance and I smirked as I heard the familiar voice.

Then I saw a small light from the distance getting closer and closer as the footsteps were getting louder by the minute.

"Hey!!! Are you listening?!?" The voice shouted. "Because I-"

The voice suddenly stopped talking and the lamp the voice was holding fell down. "N-no way, O-older sister?"

I looked up at that once pubescent teenager I once knew that had grown into a fine man and all I said was "Carlo... nice to see you again. "

"Older sister!!!" Carlo said as he dropped the lamp he was holding. "Woooahhh~," I said as he suddenly hugged me tightly.

"Older sister, H-how I-i thought- or maybe I am just dreaming or a person that looks like her or-"

"Your destiny never defines you as a person. Remember?" I said to Carlo, whose eyes widen as a tear fell down on his handsome face.

I smiled sadly as I looked at him with his beautiful blue-green eyes and black hair. "Carlo..." I said as I saw him crying like a little kid, who has just lost his mother.

"You- how is this even possible I even saw your execution and-"

Carlo suddenly stopped talking as I placed my finger on his lips and said "It was a fake but Carlo never tell the other members I am still alive yet okay? And I will explain everything to you in detail later Carlo after you help me find my son."

"Your son since when did you have a-"

"A-amaranthos... his father was A-amaranthos, Carlo. " I said and his eyes widen.

"Sis..." Carlo said sadly as he looked down at my trembling hands.

"Carlo, please help me get inside the palace. " I said and saw Carlo's eyes widen.

"Sis, what do you mean you will be- Oh no... don't tell me your son is-"

I nodded and Carlo's eyes suddenly darken as he said "No, Sis. I won't help you this time because I don't want you to die again..."

"Carlo..." I said as he pushed me away.

"Sis, you know what. Ever since I saw your so-called execution. I had countless nightmares

of you suddenly talking like this to me and the next day when I wake up you were gone. Plus I don't know what's going on and you never even trusted us and told us you were-"

"Carlo, I trusted you guys but I thought it was for the better that-"

"You always think it was for the better, Sis! " Carlo suddenly shouted as more tears streamed down his face. "You never even once consulted in us and you even kept countless secrets from us! So Sis, tell me first why and how you became the evil empress we know today?"

"Carlo, I-"

My sentence was stopped as we heard a person knocking on the door. "Carlo, are you there! It's Ray!"

I heard one of the voices of my members and I suddenly I panicked. Carlo gave out a low growl and grabbed my wrist as he pulled me and pushed me into another room.

"Ahhh... this is what you get Artista," I said as I stared at the darkroom. I felt my hands shook but I ignored it and heard Carlo said "Go!!! Out! Out! I am a busy man and-"

"Pshhh... busy he said. I am just here to get-"

"Later! I have an important customer coming so out!" Carlo said and Ray shouted in protest until I heard the door shut ever so loudly.

"Come out..." Carlo said to me and I did as what he has ordered.

He suddenly looked down on me saying: "Now sis tell me everything on happened before the war or I am sorry to threaten you with your son like this or I won't help you get inside the palace."

"Okay, it is all my fault at the end of the day so sit down because this will take a while because before I became the mysterious shadow general and the evil empress I was an incompetent Empress who thought she can carry everything on her own. Really..." I laughed bitterly. "Even though I was announced as a person with an aura of a great ruler..."

"Here is your third test, Ethan. Please answer all of these in one hour." Prime minister Basar said to Athan as he gave him five pieces of paper to him.

"I won't answer these not until you tell me who are you and where are we going.." Athan said to the Prime Minister while he looked at the soldiers giving him looks of amazement and curiosity.

"I swear upon the name of the Empire, I would tell you where we are and who am I, Ethan until you finish these tests." The prime minister said while he stretched his arms to give Athan a pencil.

"Tch..." Athan said and just grabbed the pencil as heard Keres laughing behind him.

Athan pursed his lips in annoyance but just started to write.

Every time Athan flipped another page to answer, he analyzed his surroundings. He saw some soldiers stopping to take a look at him while working to cut down some of the trees for more wood or just eating bread.

When Athan put down his pencil and finished the last page, he looked at the Prime minister and said: "Please explain..."

"Okay, now what were your questions again?" Prime minister Basar said to Athan.

"Who are you and where are we?" Athan said as he looked at the Prime minister and at the staring soldiers.

"To answer your question who am I, I am the Prime Minister of the Empire, Basar d'arebertye, and also to answer your question where are we. We are in the most dangerous part of the Empire near the northern mountains having a secret inspection only a few know of which leads me to say I can't specifically tell you why we are here if you are wondering but all I can say we are having an inspection. "

"Okay, so if you are having an inspection why does it seem like you are going back? And if you are going back where are you going back? And how many days are we supposed to travel back?" Athan questioned, Prime Minister Basar.

Prime Minister Basar smirked as he heard Athan talk thinking to himself 'Yes, he is not like all kids I know plus even if I am not talented ex-priest I think I am seeing things clearly.'

Prime Minister Basar looked at Athan as he saw the golden aura around him, not seeing a trance of black aura and said "Well Ethan, you are right about we are going back because we are finished with the inspection and to where are we going back, we are going to the palace of course. Just in time for the Empire's foundation day so we will be traveling for about one day and a half in a fast horse just you and me, leaving the load which will travel for about almost two weeks."

"Hmmm... okay but my last question is why are we rushing to go to palace especially with me along with you only in your exclusive fast horse. " Athan said as he saw Prime Minister smirk as if he knew what Athan was about to ask next.

"Well to answer you're obvious question, your highness, we are meeting the leader of the Empire- Emperor Amaranthos da Valde Dragosten who will be your future father-in-law. " Prime Minister replied to Athan, whose eyes widen as he remembers the very same man he mentioned had the same purple-blue crystal eyes as he has.

"W-what did you just said?" Athan asked Prime Minister Basar who gave a rare smile which made the soldiers shocked but it couldn't compare to the shocking news that made the soldiers around them gasp out loud.

"I said overnight you will be famous, your highness because I will be announcing you are the next person with an aura of a great ruler."
