Herscherik

Chapter IX Deception, Trading and Vessels Part I

"Search His Highness Hershelik immediately!

Looking at the burnt apartment at a distance, Count Grimm gives instructions to his men.

His men rushed off to the mansion, and he returned to the mansion with a dark expression and heavy footsteps.

The servants looked at each other in the way of the Lord.

If the king's beloved prince is in any way in his own territory, even if the Count is at fault, the blame will be on him.

The servants were convinced that the feet of the Lord would not be remembered. And if our employer, the Lord, loses his leg, we lose our jobs too.

The servants sighed with the same dark expression as the Count.

With such servants at his disposal, Count Grimm turned to his study and closed the door.

The fire at the separate residence had already subsided, but half of the troops of the Kingsguard who accompanied him to escort the prince were killed or injured. No remains of the prince were found among the lined victims, but its survival is hopeless.

"Yay, yay! Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha"

Count Grimm raised his voice as though he was alone in the room or distracted.

The Count was convinced that he had succeeded in assassinating the prince by using the ruptured door.

Here's the muscle writing.

A thief broke into the separate residence where the prince was stayed and set fire to it after the hardware robbery. The Kingsguard knights are either tired of their journey or unable to help them sleep in time, and the prince dies in the fire.

(It also worked well to serve medicine to the Kingsguard knights.

When the elite Kingsguard knights are completely annihilated without being able to resist anything, they can be unnatural and suspicious. That's why I served a small amount of medicine in the dish to the extent that I dare to mistake it for tiredness.

As expected, the knights mistakenly thought it was a tired journey, and even the ruined doors could easily be dealt with because it was a nasty thing to lose consciousness of night security.

(That one will deal with the king. The nobles' response is annoying, but he's a prince without a back shield.

It would not have been easy if the prince had been the first prince, whose mother was the princess of a friendly country, or another prince, a leading nobleman's maid.

But even a prince who doesn't know how many shields he has or doesn't have, it's a shame that a royal family has died in their territory even though it was an accident.

But he is an aristocrat belonging to a great faction of aristocrats, the ministers. I have been doing a lot to ministers and neighboring aristocrats since this happened.

Hopefully for that one, he'll be sedated as soon as the last Count, yes Count Grimm thought.

"I just didn't think the prince's butler was a 'shadow fang'..."

There's nothing behind that name that I don't know.

He knew about the existence of the back guild from time to time, but he never used it because the rewards were high.

This time, one of the people hired through the back guild to threaten the people had something with that information, so I was able to hit him.

"I am saved."

Count Grimm holds his fists in both hands. I wanted to celebrate with the finest liquor if I could, but since the search for a topical prince is under way, it weighs on itself.

But there was a man indoors who watered his joy.

"Heh, congratulations on that.

A young voice heard from the dark. Count Grimm solidified into the voice.

The lights lit up in the study.

And behind the study, on the genuine leather sofa he bought bespoke, a man who thought he was dead sat with a sneer on his leg.

"Hey, hey, hey!

"I'm sorry I'm happy, but I'm alive, right?

"Why!?

At last, Hershelik let his shoulders snap up and down, and looked up at the clo he was holding back on his side.

"Because my butler is really good. As you know.

Crowe smiles and takes Hershelik's words, and looks down at the Count with a cool face.

Clos, besieged by the ruined doors, wiped out everyone hired after that in just a few decades.

The enemy coming across the street lets the steeple die with a single blow, mindless of dimensions, and whoever comes after it with a bow or crossbow throws a hidden dagger and shoots through all the brain weather.

After a few decades, he was the only one who could stand on the spot.

Crowe broke into the flaming apartment, kicked in the door of Hershelik's room, which was sealed off, and grabbed Hershelik, who was squatting in a blanket in the corner of the room, jumped out the third floor window and fled into the woods.

He said, "It was harder to get to the third floor in the fire than to fight a broken door.".

The neighborhood was confused by the fire, so fortunately, I was never seen jumping.

However, it goes without saying that Hershelik, who jumped off the third floor, was intoxicated by the screaming machine and could not move for some time while being held by a clot.

"There are not even about fifteen people making it. If you have about double it next time, you might be able to hold off for a minute or so.

He smiles, "If there's a next time." He threatened me otherwise.

Count Grimm trembles and sits on the spot as if he had sprayed cold water in the middle of winter. I realized there was no way out. I have no choice but to understand. Because no one can escape the shadow fangs.

"Now Count Grimm. I need you to answer my question because I want to ask you something. Well, you don't have to answer, but if you don't, stay put, because you're on death row on this occasion with an attempted royal assassination.

The prince who grins so much is like an angel, like a demon.

"First of all, why did you do this this? I don't think there was anything in particular when I arrived.

Upon his arrival, he was willing to entertain the prince to take him in.

But if you open the lid, you start a fire and attempt an assassination. How about this palm return?

"... because His Highness had a pocket watch..."

"Pocket watch? You mean this.

Show Grimm, who answers weakly that he would have noticed, the pocket watch he received from the Count of Luceria. Except when I went to bed, I kept my skin intact, so I picked it up during the fire.

"That's what the Count of Luceria had, so... I think His Highness is connected to the Count of Luceria..."

"Yeah, that's the thing.

The night before Count Luzeria was sentenced to death, he was meeting with the Count. At that time he was stuffing the Count with evidence. But the Count didn't give it to me.

Grimm must have retreated every inch of this mansion since then. But I couldn't find it. When I gave up already, I showed up and had the same pocket watch as the Count of Luceria.

"That's why I planned the assassination," he said.

Count Grimm's predictions are not wrong.

Because I am certainly connected to Count Luceria. I just don't have what Hershelik wants, and I don't know.

But this hazard detection capability is quite good. The Earl died about two years ago. I was three years old at the time, and I wouldn't normally expect to be involved. I can also snort that the minister treasured him so much.

For a moment, I was concerned about something called the arr he was looking for, but Hershelik changes his mind.

It's not a good idea to know the content poorly and get too caught up in it, and even if you can get it, you don't know if you can handle it well.

Furthermore, the source is the Earl of Luceria, who has been convicted. For presenting evidence that the guilty man was grasping, albeit guilty, I had no idea how effective it was for Hershelik today.

Besides, I don't even think I can find a substitute that even they couldn't find.

Furthermore, in the unlikely event that the information that I know flows to the other side, I will even be in danger of living tomorrow. Hershelik knew he didn't have enough power to fight him yet.

It is too risky to have information on evidence that is not available. Sometimes what you don't know in a way can be your biggest defense.

If you have any connection with it, I'm sure that information will come from you.

Yes, I concluded in my mind, Hershelik decided to move on.

"Next, then, Schwartz.

"As you wish."

It was multiple documents that Khlo gave instructions and gave them out of his pocket.

Let it be spread out so that it can be seen by the Count. When Count Grimm recognized the writing, he turned even bluer.

"That's!

"Documents of evidence that we are selling our country's weapons to enemy countries.

In the neighborhood of the Kingdom of Gracis there is an empire alongside the Kingdom.

History is the longest in the Gracis kingdom, but here we have recently strengthened our military power and begun to threaten the kingdom. There are now skirmishes at the border, of course, and ten years ago there have been major wars.

This document was a secret from the empire. As far as the content goes, this is not the first.

"Tell me that!

"To whom? Or because there are other worn out things.

The documents provided by Crowe were evidence of various irregularities.

Unfair tax collection and intimidation of the people, false applications to the state, embezzlement of the state treasury.

Originally, Hershelik noticed this was an inventory survey of the arsenal.

There are no items that would have been delivered. From there, I checked the supplier in Castle Town, and they said that they did deliver it, but that it was not the castle, and that the delivery address was changed along the way and delivered to the border.

I tried to check the facts as soon as I got back to the castle, but no matter how much I looked up, no instructions were given regarding the change of destination. There were also conflicts between the bureaux, and it was disastrous and abandoned that reports of weapons deliveries had been neglected.

The evidence of the time the Count of Luceria was caught innocent also contained a secret book of the Empire. Despite how much evidence he fabricates, Hershelik can think that forgery to documents in other countries will require a source to forge them.

That's why he was the person who most wanted to erase the Count of Luceria, and he was staring at the person who was most in a hurry as suspicious.

Crowe was right about Hershelik, just looking for evidence.

Earl Grimm became pale and smoky at the end of the day whenever he read out his guilty plea.

"Who else is doing it besides me…………"

"Hey, if someone else is doing it, you think you can do it too?

Hershelik said in dismay.

It's weird that you can do it yourself because someone is doing it. The idea is arguably the one Hershelik hated since his previous life.

You can do it yourself because someone was doing it. I mean, you don't think for yourself, you don't want to take responsibility for yourself.

What irresponsibility and lack of self. If such an idea is full of countries, we have to change it.

"Please help me somehow! Only life!

Seeing such a chilled hershelik, Count Grimm rubs his forehead against the ground and makes a dungeon.

"Which mouth says you don't want to die?

It was a chilling voice for a child to do. The chilled tone and atmosphere have changed. Mostly the clos keep an eye out.

"Count Luzeria died innocent. That's what you pushed.

To be precise, the culprit who was using Count Grimm pushed him to do so, but at this time, it didn't matter.

"'This world is survived by the strong, the wise. The other fools are either used to die or disobeyed to die.' Was it?

"Give me that, where!

Hershelik remembered every word of that time, without a doubt. That was the wrong word, and it was a commandment to me.

"This time, I'm just saying that you were a fool.

(All, I knew. His Royal Highness knew everything...)

Grimm despairs. All the wealth and fame I've built up so far is over. Now all the clan royalists are under sentence of death.

"…… Now, Count Grimm, shall we go with the deal?

"What?"

Count Grimm looks up in unexpected words.

(What's the deal?

I saw hope that maybe it would help.

"Hey, I'll do anything. I pledge my sincere loyalty! Please, just life!

"What? I don't need your loyalty. Flush with that shit.

I felt Clo blow in the back, but Hershelik decided to ignore it.

I do not already have the right to choose Count Grimm in front of me. Because if this one doesn't grab solid evidence and listen to what I have to say, he's just going to die.
