Meilin's been quiet ever since she saw haru together with his lover. She didn't talk to him anymore, she was just patiently waiting for a perfect opportunity to confront him.

He noticed it but he didn't show much care. She expected it but at the same time she didn't. "Happy birthday baby" he sent a text message to Chunhua as he put on his clothes. He already planned a large bash for the woman and was willing to spend a ton for her after party.

Meilin knew what he was doing, she was going to follow him and disguise herself as a waitress if the case would get to that extent.

It hurt her each time she thought about what she was doing. Haru was really cheating. She didn't know if it was proper to tag it as cheating because they weren't really in an official relationship.

Once it was past seven Haru headed out, Meilin followed.

It was a surprise party for Chunhua, he just picked her up and told her wherever he was going was somewhere special for the both of. them.

He pulled up at a club and walked her in, holding her hand like she was a princess. Meilin marveled at her red mini gown and her gold accessories. It seemed like Haru did pick out the dress because whenever he did something like that for his date, he'd always make sure it went in line with his own clothes.

They looked like a real couple, Meilin envied that. Cameras were flashing as shots were taken. They made way passed the bouncer and the hefty man covered up the entrance again.

Getting in would be a problem. The club seemed like one for celebrities and rich people, there was no way meilin would go in except she claimed to be a cleaner but she'd need some kind of ID.

Luckily enough the bouncer was distracted by a bunch of punks that were causing a ruckus after they skipped the line. With the little chance she had, she snuck in. The bouncer was alarmed and he went after her but she was fast enough to mix up with the crowd.

She was looking everywhere for haru. She had to force herself through the tight dance floor and avoid unnecessary drama. The real action was yet to start.

"Haru" she heard his name from the VIP lounge and it was from a woman. She tiptoed to the private corner and found the pair making out.

She was watching closely , her anger made her take a step further but she pulled herself to a stop as soon as they started talking again.

"What about that girl...uhm...meilin?" She mumbled into her kiss with Haru

"Aren't you guys in a relationship?"

"Nah, I only used her to...while away time."

That was the last straw. Meilin charged with tears in her eyes. She picked up the glass of wine and poured it on Haru. His eyes widened in shock as he stuttered and tried to think of some kind of excuse to say.

"Meilin...It's not what it looks like. I swear. She's just a friend" In anger she raised her hand at him.

"Haru..." her heart ached bitterly as she looked him in the eye "You said you loved me. Haru how could you do this?!"

Chunhua picked up her purse and was ready to leave but Meilin stopped her from taking another step.

"Why? Didn't you know he was in a relationship with me!" Meilin pulled on her hair and everyone in the club turned to watch as the two women burst into a fight.

Haru pulled Meilin away from and a random man grabbed Chunhua. They wanted to keep on fighting but no one was going to let that happen.

Haru carried meilin out to somewhere they could talk alone. "Meilin...listen...listen to me" He said trying to keep her still as she continued to scream and struggle.

"Meilin..."

She stopped fighting back "Haru. You're just like my husband. I thought you were different but it's normal for everyman I get involved with to do this to me. Thank you for everything. I hope you live a happy life from now on."

"What do you mean?"

"I can't be your s.e.x toy anymore! I won't be your little kill time device. I have to go..." She hastened her steps away from him as her eyes gradually clouded with tears.

Haru was ashamed of himself. He ran his fingers through his hair as he cussed himself for changing. It was all to punish her but he got carried away.

He decided to give her time before he goes back home to talk to her. He declined chunhua's calls and took a walk to clear out the sadness and negative thoughts in his head before he went home.

He could feel loneliness each time he took a step. He'd dream to always walk with Meilin by his side, he dreamed of a good future, and it was all with her.

"Meilin?" he called our countlessly as he looked through every room in His mansion. Opened doors, closed doors. She wasn't anywhere to be found.

She wouldn't hide in his wardrobes. She'd fit in but she'd suffocate herself. He went to the maid quarters and asked after her. "Where's meilin?"

"She signed out master. I wasn't aware"

Haru's heart shattered. She left. She actually left.

"How long ago?"

"I don't know sir" He felt so hopeless. He didn't know where to start from.

"She left a letter. Would you like to read it?"

Without wasting time, he snatched it and read through it swiftly.

"Haru by the time you're reading this, I should be far gone. Thanks for everything, for your time and love. But it has all come to an end now, I'm going to move in with Bao wherever he is. That's if he accepts me, which there's a chance he won't. I don't know where I'm going to stay tonight but I don't really care about that right now. I need to think about my future and I need think about how I'll restart my life with the little money I've made while working under your roof. This is goodbye.
