I wasn't sure what to think about what just happened. My mind was at a loss.. I honestly was expecting this to all be a dream. And I was going to wake up from it soon, and be thrown back into reality. And it scared me. Because I didn't want this to be a dream, I wanted to make sure this was all real. I wanted Roman...

I was pulled out of my thoughts by Romans voice.

"You should get yourself cleaned up Kätzchen. After all, we still have work to do today."

He gave a little smirk as he turned to leave, and then I was alone.

"He did WHAT?!" Lil screamed as we arrived at the cute little cafe a few blocks away from the office.

"In the office, YOUR new office. Which can be turned into a blacked out sound proof room? Over your giant fish tank desk?!"

"Shhh. Lil, you don't need to tell the whole shop okay? It's not that big a deal."

I tried to quiet her, since we were now in the cafe, about to order.

"What do you mean not that big a deal? The man just p.l.e.a.s.u.r.ed you after showing you your new fancy office. It would be you of all people to get with the s.e.xiest man alive. I envy you Zy, so so much. I hope you know that."

I just rolled my eyes at her, laughing as we ordered our lunch and coffee. We sat at a table near the window, and I stared out at all the busy streets. Everyone rushing to get to where they needed to be.

"Well if it makes you feel any better, I didn't ask for this. I never would have expected to be in the position I'm in now, it's all just kind of strange. I honestly don't really know what to think of it all."

It wasn't a lie either. I still feel like I'm in a dream, one that I don't want to wake up from. Roman is basically the definition of perfect, and I've been crushing on him since the day I started at his company. He always seemed cold, and not very social. He never really said a word to me, so when he came onto that first time, it surely came as a shock.

"Girl, don't be complaining or questioning the course of events that have been playing out. Just except them. I mean, you're the first person I've seen Mr. Li show any interest in in the three years I've been working for him. He's gotten a glow to him recently, and he smiles more. I don't know what you've done, but you definitely have an effect on him Zy."

"You're reading too much into it Lil."

She gave a whatever look as our order arrived. We sat for about twenty minutes, enjoying or food and small talk. Lil mostly wanting more details about what happened earlier in the office, when we were approached by a man.

"Zylith Reins. Funny running into you here, I feel like you ghosted me after running away that night in the club."

"I don't mean to sound rude, but I can't seem to place where we've met. What was your name again?

I was honestly a little lost, Lilith even more so. She looked up at the fairly attractive man standing at our table, then at me.

"Ouch, that stings a little Miss Reins. Aushi Ota. We met that night in Club Luscious, you said you'd join me for some coffee after declining my offer for another drink at the bar."

He flashed that nice smile of his, and it all comes back to me. I completely forgot about that...

"That's right! Mr. Ota, I'm so sorry. I've been real busy with work, I actually just got back from a weekend trip with my boss. I've gotten your messages as well, I'm sorry I haven't had the chance to get back with you."

"Please, call me Aushi. Surnames are too formal for me, if I'm honest."

Just then Lilith kicked me under the table.

"Zy, are you going to introduce me to your friend here or what?"

"Right, sorry. Aushi, this is my friend Lilith. Lilith, this is Aushi."

She flashed her flirtatious smile at him and extended her hand.

"So this is the hottie you told me about, huh? Well, she wasn't lying about your looks, Aushi. You are certainly very handsome."

"Lil, please don't." I blushed a little at her statement.

"It's quite alright Zylith, I don't mind. It's a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e meeting you Lilith."

He turned towards me now.

"So, you find me attractive then? I'm flattered. Thank you."

My face flushed red again as I tried to look away from him. Giving Lilith a scolding look.

"Well, I must be going now. It was great seeing you again Zylith, and lovely meeting you Lilith. What do you say you make it up to me tomorrow, about noon? We can meet up here for that cup of coffee you owe me."

"Well, I'll have to check to see if I have anything at th-"

"It's a deal. She'll see you tomorrow at noon."

Lilith interrupted before I had a chance to finish what I was saying. And Aushi didn't leave it a second later at that.

"Good, it's a date. I'll see you tomorrow Zylith."

And with that, he grabbed his order and left. Leaving me sitting there, wondering what just happened.

"Why did you say those things Lil? And why did you agree to that for me."

"Oh come on Zy, don't be so uptight. I was doing you a favor. And you owed the guy anyways, if you don't want to see if after coffee tomorrow then don't. But you can at least give him this one chance."

I rolled my eyes at her. She was always trying to set me up with guys whenever she got the chance. Why did I think now would be any different? Maybe because of everything that's been going on with Roman?

"Fine." I said.

"Just a cup of coffee, because I owe it to him. After that, no more. He's got good looks and is very gentlemen like, but I'm not interested in him that way."

"Because you're into Roman, yes I know. Sounds fair enough though. Now, I guess we should head back to work as well. Don't want to make the boss angry, who knows how he'll punish you for it. Then again, it might be worth the punishment." She gave me a wink before walking out, and I followed behind her.

"I seriously can't handle you sometimes Lil, you know that?" We both laughed as we headed back to work, and I thought about what she said. Would he be the punishing type? I couldn't help but wonder...
