The next day, Wang Luo Hai invited them for breakfast. He wanted to find out about the couple's background and characters. He wanted to know whether they were worth it. Such a rare talent was important to him, but also other good traits - for example hardworking. The business deal -that he would offer to them- would be judged based on that.

"Please enjoy the breakfast! We can talk and get to know each other first, before talking about the business deal," Wang Luo Hai welcomed them with a cheery voice. "After breakfast, we can discuss it further in my study room."

Yao Ying and Yao Ling both nodded in agreement. When Wang Luo Hai asked about their background, they told him the truth. Yao Ying and Yao Ling didn't cover up their peasants' background, also the fact that Yao Ying Lost his memories. Their honesty made Wang Luo Hai happy and satisfied with them. He also showed his sincerity by telling them about his current business.

Wang Luo Hai was born in a merchant family. In his hands, their business grew stronger and bigger. Just like the pedestrians had said, embroidery business was indeed the most prospering business in this city. Wang Luo Hai was popular because he had discerning eyes in finding talents and his honesty in conducting business. He never tried to swindle money from his needle workers; he always gave them a suitable price for their hard work.

Wang Luo Hai was also very clever in finding customers. He could match what kind of embroidery the customers loved with the most suitable embroiderer. Yao Ying could understand this much from what Wang Luo Hai had told him. What Yao Ying liked from Wang Luo Hai was the fact that he was straight to the point and humble about his background. He didn't try to boast and flaunt his wealth as a merchant.

After they finished their breakfast, they quickly went to the study room. Wang Luo Hai said merrily, "I like both of you. Don't worry! I won't propose a business deal that makes you eat a loss. I can give you at least one embroidery work per day and if you want more there will be more. Judging on Yao Ling's embroidery speed last night, I'm pretty sure that you can do a lot more, but I don't want to give you any pressure. After you know your own working limit, you can just tell me whether you want me to increase your work or not. I'm a reasonable person, so I won't force you to work like a slave."

"I don't want my wife to be overly tired." Yao Ying scowled when he heard about Wang Luo Hai's offer. Then he turned to Yao Ling and asked her, "What do you think?" Although Yao Ying didn't feel satisfied with the offer, he didn't want to force his opinion to Yao Ling. The one who would work and understand her limit was Yao Ling herself, so the decision should come from her.

Yao Ling was touched by his thoughtfulness. Yao Ling smiled softly and replied to Yao Ying's question, "I'm fine with it. I can receive one embroidery per day at the moment. However, regardless of how fast my speed is, I also need to look at the pattern difficulties and how big the embroidery is. Sometimes, it can take a few days. I prefer quality over quantities."

Wang Luo Hai nodded, "Of course. Generally speaking, what I mean for the one embroidery each day is only for small things like a handkerchief. I don't want you to make too many things at once. I want your work to be rare, so the demand will increase. The small things are just for promotion and the real profit will be from the riches and officials. Don't worry I will be the one who manages the promotion! You can just do your work and be at ease."

Yao Ying discussed the fee with Wang Luo Hai, while Yao Ling was listening on the side. She had no interest in this kind of thing. She could manage the money, but she somehow knew this bargaining thing should be handled by Yao Ying. When handling business, Yao Ying seemed like a different person.

Yao Ling paid attention to his serious expression. He was very assertive and blunt. Even Wang Luo Hai was surprised by the young man's skill. He seemed adept in the business world. What kind of background does this young man have? Yao Ying already told him about him losing his memories and it made him feel intrigued. He believed Yao Ying wasn't an ordinary man.

He laughed joyfully, "Young man, why don't you work for me too? I can use your skill too." Wang Luo Hai felt happy, meeting this talented couple by chance. What a stroke of luck!

They agreed to work together because the couple actually needed the money. Wang Luo Hai even prepared a little house for them to live in as long as they worked for him. Actually, he even asked them to live with him at first, but they declined his nice offer politely. They didn't want to impose and exploit his kindness. The couple also wanted to pay rent for the little house, but they were declined.

"No need! No need! We are working together. I'm not a stingy person to the people that I sincerely like. Just live there! No one lives there for a long time and well... the house also needs maintenance. Just think that you help me to take care of the house for me," Wang Luo Hai said earnestly.

The house was made of good-quality wood and the structure was sturdy. Inside of the house, there was a dining room, a small kitchen, and a bedroom. It was enough for both of them. Yao Ying and Yao Ling smiled happily at each other. Both of them were feeling satisfied with the house. When Wang Luo Hai brought them there, they were in awe with the house's condition.

Where was the maintenance that Wang Luo Hai talked about? The house was very clean without a speck of dust and it was really homey.

"This is a good start for us, Husband." Yao Ling felt happy with the sudden stroke of luck that they acquired. Where else they could find such a nice benefactor? The chance was very slim!

"Indeed. We are lucky to meet Wang Luo Hai. We have to work hard," Yao Ying said. He offered her hand to her, "Come. Let's go inside the house."

They were feeling content with this marriage. They hoped the future would be as blissful as the start -- just like this.
