Kaylee didn't know what to say. 'Of course, I do!' she thought to herself. Christopher smiles weakly and looks away. "Never mind!" Christopher stood up and walks toward the door. "Let's go!" Kaylee let out a deep sigh and follow Christopher. Liam looks at her when she got out of the room. She just gave him a shrug and get her thing.

They both follow Christopher until they got to the parking lot. To avoid the awkwardness and it seems that no one's around, Liam didn't bother to open the door for Christopher. Liam opens the driver's seat and Kaylee is about to open the door at the passenger seat when a deep voice rang into her ears that make her stop. "Sit down beside me!" Kaylee looks at Christopher. She bites her lower lip. "Okay!" Liam looks at Christopher and smiled, he entered the car and start the engine.

Christopher opens the door at the back seat and lets Kaylee enter first. Kaylee didn't say a word, she just let herself in and look outside. Her hands were placed above her lap and her heartbeat keeps on beating faster. She started sweating even though the aircon is already on. She gulps as soon as Christopher get in the car and shut the door. After a minute, they already outside the empire. Christopher looks at Kaylee from time to time, and when his eyes landed on Kaylee's both hands closed on her lap, he frowns.

Christopher held Kaylee's hand. Kaylee is a bit shock and her first reaction is to look at the man who just holds her hand. Christopher look at her, she can't read what's on his mind right now, she just looks at the man's beautiful eyes, but the tension she felt a while ago was gone. Her grip on her hands a while ago was released. The man slowly closed his eyes and lean his head into her shoulder. 'Eh?'

When Kaylee let out a deep sigh, Christopher tightens his grip into Kaylee's hand. He slowly opened his eyes. The image of Kaylee crying is coming into his mind when he closes his eyes. It makes him angry when he can't do anything and it makes him even angrier when it is because of him. He knew he wasn't this kind of man when it comes to women, but what else can he do? It pissed him off seeing her like that.

As soon as they got in the parking lot, Liam didn't park the car, he just stops the car in front of the elevator. Christopher got out of the car while still holding Kaylee's hand making Kaylee got out of the car right after he got out. Christopher opens the door of the passenger seat and bends over to look at Liam. "Liam, we'll be going first." Liam smiled. He understands what he meant, he nodded.

"Okay! I have an appointment tonight, I'm not coming for dinner." Christopher smile back. "Okay! Take the car." Liam salutes to him and he just nodded to Kaylee. Christopher pressed the open button and the elevator descend. They enter and he pressed the top floor still holding Kaylee's hand. Though she feels that her hand is starting to sweat.
