The next few days were the same, Christopher attends to different meetings, the only difference is this time, Kaylee is there, with them.

Today is the last day of their busy schedules and they're in the meeting room.

Kaylee leans over to Christopher and whispered in his ears. "I'm going to the restroom."

Christopher nodded. His eyes landed on Ethan, who was sitting right next to him. Ethan's arm is resting on the armrest of the swivel chair and his hand is on his chin while looking at Kaylee as she leaves.

Christopher gritted his teeth and glare at Ethan. Ethan looks at his brother and grin. He stood up and leave the meeting room.

On the way to the restroom. Ethan bumped into Kaylee. He smiled"Hi!"

Kaylee lifts her head to see who is it. She blinks when she saw who is it. She bowed her head. "First master!"

Ethan laugh. "You don't need to be so formal, you can call me Ethan."

Kaylee smiled. "What do you mean first master, it is also my job to respect the bosses. Especially my master's relative."

The smile on Ethan's face was gone. "How much does he pay you? Work with me, I'll double it!"

Kaylee raises her right eyebrow. "Excuse me?"

Ethan gave her a mocking laugh. "Come on! You don't need to be shy, name your price."

Kaylee let out a 'Hah!' and look directly into Ethan's eyes. "First of all, I want to say sorry, I cannot accept your offer. The second master is my boss and doesn't have any plan on leaving his side. I will only leave if he says so. Second, even if you offer me ten times more, I am not going to betray my own master."

Ethan grins and looks at Kaylee from head to toe. "I heard you're his woman. Is that true?"

Kaylee was taken aback.

"What do you think you're doing, Ethan?" Ethan and Kaylee both look at the source of the voice.

Ethan laugh. "Ohya! The boss is here!"

Christopher walks toward them, behind him is Liam holding the documents in his arms. Christopher gave Ethan a warning look, on the other hand, Ethan waves both hands as if he was saying that 'He didn't do anything.'

Christopher held Kaylee's hand and pulled her back behind him. Ethan looks at their hands with a grin on his face. "Does Sofia know?"

Christopher looks at him sharply. "She doesn't need to know, and it's none of her business!"

Kaylee looks at Liam, but Liam just shook his head telling her not to do or say anything. She nodded. She notices the tension between the brothers. It was her first time seeing them together. She was aware that the two didn't get along well, but she didn't expect this.

It is true that usually, the first son is the one who should take over the family business, but in their case, the second son is the one who takes over.

The resemblance between them cannot be denied, but their personality and standpoint are different. Christopher is doing his best in his job, their parents entrusted him the company, he cannot let them down, on the other hand, Ethan was just there to take all that Christopher has.

Ethan whistles and started to walk towards the restroom. "Stay away from Kaylee!" Christopher said.

Ethan smiles and waves his hand without looking back. "See you!"
