His Personal Bed Partner

Kaylee turns her head when she hears a footstep behind her. She stood up and walks toward the man. Kaylee was taken aback when the man suddenly hugs her tight. She pats the man's back. "What's wrong?"

Christopher didn't say a word he just hugs Kaylee like that. Behind him is Liam. Kaylee looks at Liam with a questioning look. Liam just smiles and sign that he's going to leave.

Kaylee caresses Christopher's back. "Hey, you okay?"

Christopher's hug tightens and keeps silent.

Kaylee sighed and pulled away. She holds Christopher's face with her both hands and looks directly into his eyes. "What's wrong? I heard you shout earlier."

Christopher holds her hand. He kissed her forehead and look at her as he kisses both of her hands.

"Tell me, please!" Kaylee looks at him with a gentle gaze.

Christopher smiles as she kisses Kaylee's hands once again. He let go of her hand and hold her face and gave her akiss on her nose. "It's nothing!"

Kaylee put her hands on her waist. "If it's about work, it's fine! But remember that you just finished your work for the whole week, don't stress yourself too much! You need to have your break too, you know!"

Christopher takes Kaylee's hands and wraps her arms around his neck. He gave her a short kiss on her lips and wraps his arms around her waist. "Yes, boss!"

Kaylee hugs him tight. "You're actually my boss!"

Inside their room. Christopher is lying on the bed and looking at Kaylee with his right hand under his head and caressing Kaylee's hair with his left hand, while Kaylee is beside him in the prone position with a book in her hand.

His mind is a mess! Everything he found out is unforgivable! He can't believe that the lovely and a cheerful woman beside him, go through that kind of life!

Kaylee smiles while still looking at the book. "Are you done staring at me?" She asked.

Christopher laughs. "Not yet!"

Kaylee closes the book and places it on the bedside table. She put her chin on her hand as she looks at Christopher. "What do you want? Do you have something to say?"

Christopher shook his head. "No!"

Kaylee nods. "Okay!" She said as she lays her head into Christopher's chest.

Christopher caresses her hair and grins."Kiss me, then."

Kaylee blinks. She lifted her head and look at Christopher. She looked puzzled. "Huh?"

"Since we're both tired and I can't have you, just kiss me. Kiss me until I'm satisfied." Christopher said while trying to stop himself from smiling.

Kaylee hit him on his shoulder. "Stop playing around."

Christopher held her hand, "I'm serious Kayl, kiss me."

Kaylee raises her eyebrow. "Until you're satisfied?"

Christopher laughed. "Just kiss me." He said as he pouted his lips.

Kaylee bites her lower lip and moves closer to Christopher. She pressed her lips against his. Christopher smiles as he wraps his arms around Kaylee's waist as he responds to her kiss.

When Kaylee pulls away, Christopher looks at her. "Should we do it?"

Kaylee blushed. "You should take a rest for now okay? We can do it anytime, just have some rest first."

Christopher smiled. "Anytime?"

Kaylee blinks. She bites her lower lips and looks away. "I mean..."

Christopher hugs her and kisses her head. "What will you do if I say that I like you?"

Kaylee looks at Christopher in shock. "W-what did you say?"

Christopher tucks her behind her ears, "Why? I can't? You don't want me to?"

Kaylee blinks. "No, it's not like that. I..." She nervously looks directly into Christopher's eyes. "Do you like me?" Her heartbeat is starting to beat faster.

Christopher looked at her and held her face and gave her a kiss. He hugs Kaylee and caresses her hair. "Let's sleep!"

Kaylee pouted. She pushed Christopher away and turn her back to him. "Sleep your face!"

Christopher smiles and hugs Kaylee from behind. "I will treat you well, I'm willing to do anything just to protect you. I... I just found out something, I just found out how your family treats you. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ask Liam to investigate you, I just... I just want to know..."

Kaylee bites her lower lip to stop herself from crying. Her tears are starting to fall down from her eyes. Christopher buried his face into Kaylee's neck as his hug tightens. He knows that she was crying and he knew this would happen if he tells her.

"I know I should have asked you instead. I'm sorry... I didn't know. I just happened to see how your cousin treats you when she saw you on the first floor, that's why I asked Liam. I just can't stand seeing you being treated that way. I guess that answers your question? If you still want a certain answer, yes, I like you... So much. You knew I hated commitments. But if it's you, I'm willing to spend the rest of my life with you. Can you forgive me? Can you promise me, you're not going to leave me? You don't have to like me back, just stay with me. Hmm?"

Kaylee covers her mouth with her hands. Her tears keep on falling down from her eyes, she has a mixed feeling right now. She felt that there's something wet on her neck.

Christopher tightens his hug and bites his lower lip, "I... I'm sorry."

Kaylee sobs. "A-are you crying?"

"I'm sorry!"
