The next day, Christopher and Kaylee sign a new contract. They already terminated their first contract. The only contract they have right now is the usual contract of an employee and employer.

If its Christopher, he doesn't want Kaylee to work, but he knew that Kaylee would insist that's why he let her do what she wants.

Kaylee, Christopher, and Liam are sitting on the couch and having lunch when the door open. The three of them look at the door simultaneously.

"Mind if I join you?" Liam looks at Christopher when he heard that voice.

Christopher didn't say a word. He just put down his spoon and fork without looking at the certain someone.

Kaylee was about to look at him when Christopher held her hand. Instead of a certain someone, Kaylee's eyes landed on her and Christophers hand.

Kaylee didn't bother to look at that certain someone. She understood what Christopher is trying to say when he held her hand.

That certain someone sat beside Liam with a smile on his face. He grins as his and Christopher eyes met.

The man looks at Kaylee. "Kaylee, right? Can you get me lunch too?"

Christopher glare at him. "You can get your own lunch!"

Christopher stood up, he looks at Kaylee and Liam. Kaylee and Liam both understand him and stood up at the same time.

The man laughs. "Are you guys trying to avoid me?"

Christopher looks at him. "Yes!"

The man grins and forcefully held Christopher's arm as he whispered to him. "Do you think you can stop me, just by avoiding me? You won't be able to stop me as long as I'm still alive."

Christopher grins. " Do you think I would let you succeed in your plan? I won't allow you, especially if it's related to her. Even if you're dead "

Ethan looks at Kaylee, let go of Christopher's arm and laugh. "You mean Sofia?"

Christopher looks at Kaylee and smiles. He held her hand and look at Ethan with a sweet smile on his face. "I mean her." He said as she shows their intertwined hands to Ethan. He looks at Liam and nodded.

As Christopher nodded Liam go beside Ethan and smiles. "This way, sir." He said as he escorted Ethan to leave the office.

Ethan looks at Liam sharply. "Is this how you treat me?"

Liam smiles at him awkwardly. "Obviously! Be thankful because I at least escorted you out!" He said and shut the door.

The moment Liam shut the door, Christopher signal him that he's going on the room. Liam nodded.

When Kaylee and Christopher get inside the room. Christopher let go of Kaylee's hand. He loosens his tie and runs his fingers into his hair as he walks back and forth in the room.

Kaylee just stood there and looks at him. She blinks. "Hey! What's wrong?"

Christopher stops and looks at Kaylee. He walks toward her and held her shoulder. "I wanted to protect you." He said as he held Kaylee's chin with his right hand. "But please promise me! Don't let Ethan get close to you, especially when I am not around."

Kaylee smiles and wraps her arms around his neck. "I promise."

"All he wanted is all that I have, I don't know what he's planning to do."

Kaylee touches his jawline with her right index finger. "He can't have me. I'm all yours."
