Hogwarts Outsider

Chapter 118: stranger

The stranger who suddenly broke in was a tall and thin young wizard.

His face is thin, his nose is slightly longer, and his face is slightly pale.

He glanced at the three people in the compartment, and nodded with a grim expression. Then, he sat down directly in the last remaining empty seat.

"Sir..." Hermione cleared her throat and asked tentatively, "May I ask if you are..."

Before she could finish her words, the stranger rushed to answer: "The new teacher at Hogwarts!"

His voice was very cold, and he felt a sense of rejection when he spoke.

Hermione, Matthew, and Neville looked at each other, and they knew at the first time that the stranger in front of them must be difficult to deal with.

The stranger did not intend to continue communicating with them. He took out a pair of earplugs from his pocket and stuffed them into his ears; then, he took out a pair of eye masks and brought them...

In the end, he leaned against the window, motionless, began to rest, and seemed to fall into a deep sleep soon.

...

Matthew, Hermione, and Neville were all subconsciously farther away from this stranger.

"New professor?" Neville frowned, looked at the lifeless figure of the stranger, and asked in a low voice, "I don't know which subject he teaches?"

"I need to ask," Hermione whispered. "There is only one vacancy, isn't it? Transfiguration."

"Don't be so arbitrary, and you can't rule out other situations." Matthew added.

Hermione pouted, feeling that Matthew was deliberately lifting the bar. Although she said nothing.

All three of them carefully looked at Neville's sleeping stranger and kept a "safe distance" from him.

Last year, they also had a very popular metamorphosis teacher, but after most of the semester, they learned that the teacher was actually a vampire and was suspected of participating in a series of attacks on campus...

"Well, I hope he can do it." Neville said with some suspicion, "Although he doesn't seem very reliable."

In the latter sentence, he said in a very small voice, so that only Matthew and Hermione could hear it.

"You can't look good," Hermione cleared her throat and whispered, "Remember Professor Troka from last semester. He was very reliable, but he was a vampire with all evil!"

Matthew frowned slightly, although he didn't say anything to refute Hermione.

At this moment, the strange teacher who was asleep suddenly moved.

They looked at him anxiously, afraid that their conversation would bother him, or he would hear the derogatory voice. But seeing the stranger just turned his head to the side, opened his mouth slightly, and then continued to fall asleep.

The three of them closed their mouths quickly and did not dare to make any noises so as not to disturb him.

...

The Hogwarts Express train went all the way north, and the fertile farmland and pasture outside the window began to gradually become sparse, causing the scenery to be somewhat desolate.

The sky has also become gloomy, with dark clouds by nature; although it is still early, the sky darkens quickly.

With the appearance of this stranger, their trip suddenly became a little boring.

After all, there is such an "outsider", and they no longer dare to continue talking and laughing in the cubicle, worrying about disturbing him... Even when discussing hot topics such as "Azkaban's prison escape", they can only Arguing quietly.

As it was about noon, the waitress with a dimpled smile on her face pushed open the door of their compartment.

"Honey, do you need some snacks?"

The three of them are naturally a little hungry.

"Should we wake him up?" Hermione looked at the half-lying professor, who seemed to be sleeping soundly.

"Forget it." Neville spread his hands.

He has not forgotten the attitude of the strange professor when he entered the cubicle earlier, facing them: "The food truck should always stay in the front of the car. When he wakes up, he can pass by himself... We still don’t Excuse him."

The other two also agreed, and then they returned to their seats and began to feast on pumpkin pie and chocolate cake.

And after they were full, the atmosphere became awkward again.

Matthew and Hermione took out their textbooks and read them.

Neville bent down and went to tease Hermione's cat, Crookshanks.

...

Time soon arrived in the afternoon, and the sky became more gloomy.

The train continued to run north.

It started to rain lightly in the sky, and the endless mountains outside the car window became blurred.

"When will we wait to get to Hogwarts?" Neville asked tiredly.

He had given up to continue teasing Crookshanks, because the little guy was always too lazy to move and was unwilling to cooperate with Neville.

"At least four hours." Matthew looked at his watch and replied ~www.wuxiaspot.com~bad news! Neville sighed.

Just when Ma Xianzheng closed the "Standard Spell Level Two" written by Miranda Gosak----

"Oh, yes," Neville suddenly thought of something, and shouted abruptly, "There's more..."

"Shhh!" Hermione raised an index finger to her lips, cast a displeased expression at Neville, and pointed to the strange professor next to her.

Matthew was more inclined, because Hermione's reading thoughts were interrupted by Neville's voice, so she seemed a little dissatisfied.

"Sorry," Neville smiled a little silly, while lowering his voice: "I just want to say, you might be able to see my dad this semester?"

"Oh?" Matthew looked at Neville with some curiosity.

"He will be responsible for the defense of Hogwarts in the next year." Neville explained.

"Didn't the Ministry of Magic send a dementor to defend Hogwarts?" Hermione asked in a puzzled manner, "I remember your father is an Auror..."

"I'm just telling you two, don't tell me..." Neville's voice was suppressed even lower: "Some senior officials in the Auror Command thought that the dementors had no effect on the three fugitives, so only Dementors can’t prevent them, so some Aurors will also participate in the defense of Hogwarts..."

"It's just a fugitive from Azkaban. Why does the Ministry of Magic defend Hogwarts?" Matthew suddenly asked calmly: "There is actually no connection between the two..."

Neville was stunned, then shook his head in confusion.

But there was a confused look on Hermione's face.

Matthew's voice just fell--

At this moment, the lights in the aisle and at the luggage rack suddenly turned on.

The train banged straight, and at the same time its speed became slower and slower.
