Hogwarts: The Way of the Dharma

Chapter 25 Provocation from Slytherin

On Saturday, Alvin came to the staff lounge next to McGonagall's office on time.

Alvin walked in and found that there were already several people inside. Two of them he knew, one was a sixth-grade Ravenclaw prefect.

Deborah Behnke. A capable witch with short hair.

The second was a sixth-grade boy, Ian Marshall.

The two also saw Alvin and greeted him, and Deborah waved and motioned for him to sit over.

Alvin walked over and sat next to Deborah. Say hello.

"Hello, senpai."

"Junior is so polite." Deborah covered her mouth and smiled. praised immediately

"Junior joined the Transfiguration Club in the first grade, which really gave us Ravenclaw a big face."

"Senior sister has won the prize, but Professor McGonagall sees that I have some talent, so let me experience it in advance."

Alvin hurriedly said he was lucky.

Deborah didn't say anything after hearing this. Everyone knows Professor McGonagall's temper.

You can't join this club if you don't have any real stuff.

However, she did not refute Alvin, but instead reminded.

"Junior, we are very happy that you joined the Transfiguration Club, but the two people in Slytherin are not very happy. They think you are not eligible to enter this club."

After speaking, Deborah also looked at the two boys sitting on the other side.

The two people noticed Deborah's eyes and looked over, their eyes full of disdain and malice towards Alvin.

Both of them looked extremely ugly. At first glance, they were the product of intermarriage between close relatives in order to keep the bloodline pure.

Alvin also noticed the badness, but he didn't care. Just kidding, even though he started school, he didn't draw a card once.

But there are already quite a few spells and the like obtained by signing in every day, and many spells are far beyond the level of adult wizards.

After all, the initial level of the magic spell rewarded by the system reached the O.W.L.S level, and after obtaining it several times, the power of the Auror's spell was not as strong as his.

Alvin ignored the two and smiled at Deborah

"Don't worry, senpai, a little test won't be enough for me."

Deborah said she was warmed by this smile.

Soon, Professor McGonagall, wearing a dark green wizard robe and a top hat on his head, walked in.

I looked around and saw that Alvin had also arrived, and smiled with satisfaction.

"Classmates, today we welcome a new member, Mr. Alvin Gaunt, let us welcome him."

Alvin got up, gestured around, and finally made a slight bow like Professor McGonagall, before sitting down.

The others also cooperated and gave some applause, and even the two ugly Slytherins patted them perfunctorily, not daring to take Professor McGonagall's face.

The applause stopped, and Professor McGonagall continued.

"Next, we need to give Mr. Gaunt a little quiz. Show what he's up to. Who wants to be an assistant?"

At this time, one of the two men from Slytherin House stood up.

"Professor, let me try this Mr. Gaunt's level!"

After he finished speaking, he gave Alvin a grim smile, which made Alvin very sick.

Professor McGonagall did not object.

"Then Mr. Burst, let's be Mr. Gaunt's assistant."

With a wave of Professor McGonagall's wand, he summoned two chairs from the back of the lounge.

"Each person has a chair, and animals are transformed through transfiguration to compete."

"Also, don't attack the wizard himself, and don't use spells other than Transfiguration. Do you understand?"

The two nodded, and they understood. They took out their wands and began to deform.

Burst made the first move. He turned his chair into a hyena and rushed towards Alvin's chair.

Burst also has two brushes in terms of transfiguration. The hyena he transformed has a sturdy physique, and the fangs and the candlelight have some reflections, and they look very sharp.

Seeing the fierce-looking hyena rushing over, Alvin didn't panic.

With a touch of his wand, his chair instantly transformed into a Welsh buffalo, which has two huge horns and is said to be able to fight a lion without losing its power.

The buffalo's head was pushed forward, and the two horns hit the hyena's body in an instant, and it flew out fiercely.

Burst's face became a little ugly.

He couldn't believe that Alvin Gaunt could use Transfiguration to transform a large animal like a buffalo when he was in first grade.

When he was in first grade, he was still thinking about how to make a pipe case.

But now there is nothing he can do. He doesn't want to admit defeat, so he can only continue to cast Transfiguration.

The wand pointed at the whining hyena, and a wave of ripples appeared on the hyena, and the hyena was gradually turning into an owl.

Flying creatures are more difficult to change than terrestrial creatures because of the more subtle magic required to make the animal fly.

Obviously, Burst's Transfiguration level is not enough, such a slow speed, if it is in the battle, it will be eaten by a big melon.

Alvin wouldn't interrupt Burst's spellcasting. If he interrupted him, what if he said that young Alvin didn't talk about martial arts?

So, Alvin quietly watched Burst's performance.

Finally, after nearly half a minute, the hyena turned into an eagle, but the wings were a little uncoordinated. But still barely able to fly.

That's it?

Alvin was very speechless. He didn't expect that Burst had tossed for a long time, and what he came up with was a half-finished eagle?

However, Alvin was still a little unhappy about Birdclaw using the eagle to deal with Ravenclaw.

I haven't changed into an eagle yet, so you changed me into one? Still used to hit me?

Immediately, Alvin was no longer in the mood to play, and with a flick of his wand, the Welsh buffalo instantly turned into a goshawk and soared into the sky.

The wings spread a full two meters, and the sharp eagle eyes stared at the opposite eagle, and there was a trace of contempt in his eyes.

Such an ugly eagle is simply a shame among eagles.

"Wow!"

With a long groan, Alvin's transformed goshawk's wings swung instantly to the top of Burst's half-crippled eagle.

The steel-like claws slammed down hard.

Then he accelerated from top to bottom, and pressed the Bird Eagle to the ground with an incomparably fast offensive.

In an instant, Bird's eagle returned to its original shape and became a torn chair. *
