Xin Lian finally understood the feeling of the old character that she used to play when she was just starting at New York. Who would have guessed that the composed and elegant Zhou Xin Lian would turn this desperate for a man? Ahhh, really what a joke.

"What do you want?" Yao Yue stiffly asked as she glared at the woman peacefully sipping her coffee. Her guard are all obviously on it's maximum.

This made Xin Lian giggle. "Drink your tea." She said before she once again bought her lips on the expensive teacup.

"I'm not here to be buddies with you Xin Lian. Tell me why you did that to my father?!" Yao Yue straightly asked Xin Lian, her eyes full of grief and hatred.

"What did I do? I just advised those companies about your father who raised a mistress s.l.u.t. Is that so wrong? Yeah, he lost his job and might not get a new one, but that's what he gets for being a bad father." Xin Lian mockingly replied, which made Yao Yue boil in anger.

"Mistress s.l.u.t? Hah. Do you think being rich is everything? Even if you flaunt your money and power, Jiu Chen would never return to you." Yao Yue bravely retorts back. But instead of getting mad, Xin Lian just release a terrifying giggle.

"Whether he returns to me or not, that would be up to me. After all, I'm just getting started." Xin Lian whispers close to Yao Yue's ears, sending shivers into her veins. She then prepared to leave but before she took a step out of the café.

She once again gave Yao Yue a glance.

"By the way, how's your little brother's scholarship? You see, his university is also asking for my advice. Ahhh, really… I'm so busy." Xin Lian casually said before she completely left the dreaded place, a cold smirk plastered in her lips when she saw Yao Yue frantically tried to follow her.

After Xin Lian and Yao Yue's encounter, a mad Jiu Chen visited her place, the big mansion that is given by Xin Lian's father as their own house to start a family with. Sadly, the first time that Jiu Chen sets his feet in here, he was raging in anger.

He immediately confronted Xin Lian who acted as if she never did anything wrong. She was still smiling as sweetly to him, as she used to be. The kind of smile that Xin Lian use whenever she's trying to act tough. This kind of smile that Jiu Chen used to instantly identify as a sign of her weakness, but his rage has made him forgot all of this and in the end. Xin Lian had made him agreed to marry her.

"No matter what dirty tricks you do, I only have Yao Yue in my heart." Jiu Chen reminded her before he slammed the door and left.

Xin Lian then stood and stared outside the window to watch Jiu Chen leave.

"Xiao Chen, you also used to say that you only have me in your heart. See, feelings can change." She mockingly said as she wipes the beads of tears flowing down her cheeks.

"Seriously, there's not a day since I've returned that I haven't cried. Director Jackson would definitely be happy."
