Horizons Fantasy

The scouting party continued northbound and finally made it back to camp to report to commander Beatrice. She was surprised that the orcs sent warbands south passing them it was not like they were even a bother for the orc army. She realize now that thats why her scouts has not returned was because of the warbands, she now had to make a decision.

"Good job everyone, you are all dismissed" Beatrice congratulated everyone on their safe return

After Arslan and everyone was dismissed she went toward the main command tent and reported everything to The princess and general.

"They are just trying to distract us , our main goal should be the main army not these warbands. General Argum replied to the reports and the princess agreed.

While they were discussing the reports a scout ran inside the tent.

"reporting the reinforcement had finally arrive".

This made the princess smiled and asked Beatrice and Argum to accompanybher to welcome her brother and the head warrior, as they made their way into the outlyingbarea of the camp where her brother and the head warrior was located they can see they already started to camp.

"Welcome big brother " she smile and ran towards a tall lanky but muscular man with deep brown eyes and gold earrings.

"My sister I am glad you waited for me , I am sorry that it took so long to gather these men" he hugged Caska.

"Where is the head warrior?" Caska asked

" He is making sure that everyone is camping properly" He pointed at a general direction amd you can see a black haired medium build man helping the soldiers putting up their tents.

"What is the news?" Baldur looked at his sister worriedly.

Caska told her brother about the early attack , the fall of the northern fort , the loses, levies amd warbands down south.

"These reports are worrying, go back to your tent Caska. once were done here we will follow you there to come up with a plan.

Caska and the others left but not long after Baldur and Hurus arrived at the command tent.

Arslan and Sandra returned to camp and were swarmed by their companions, They told them about the worrying news about the warnbands.

He reassured everyone that everything would be fine , he knew that these people were worried about their homes.

"Everything is gonna be fine right?" With worried eyes Victoria looked for more reassurance from Arslan.

"Yes, don't you worry , I heard that the reinforcement arrived today. That means that we will be moving to confront the enemy shortly." He patted her on the shoulder and smiled at her and with that reassurance she amiled back.

While they were discussing a rider approced their camp.

"Who leads these people? he asked

"I do" Grugus stepped forward.

Grugus returned with happy news, they move out tommorow to confront the orc army, It was good news for them for as soonest they finish the orc army the warband would retreat. The people went back towards their tent and started cleaning their weapons but Arslan called Victoria over.

"What is it Arslan?" she looked at him with curiosity.

"I want to teach you something" He waved her over to walked with him.

As they mad their way outside the camp Arslan got in front of a tree and told Victoria to pay attention. He activated Multiply slash and shredded the tree , victoria was always in awe of Arslan techniques.

"I'm going to try to teach you how to do this" He pointed at the tree.

Arslan walked toward another tree and activated Multiple slashes but this time he looked within himself, what he felt what hos bison saw. He slowly described it to Victoria and she nodded her head , after the instruction she tried but failed.

As the night passed by Arslan started to see an outline of a small glow and soon after.

"I did it!" With wide eyes she looked at the tree in front of her.

Arslan smiled at her brimming with joy, now he knows his conjectures was true, she might not be able to do it in terms of power , speed amd level of Arslan but this was a start.

"Its late now , lets go to bed"Arslan directed her back to camp and she skipped happily along the way.

As morning camp the camp broke and they headed north, the more they moved the more refugees they saw. There were a massive stream of refugees many of them were wounded and in the back they saw the decimated lands, everywhere and everything were burning.

Scouts were sent out and after that you can hear fighting in the distance.

Arslan colum were in the back with the rest of the levies and everyone had from faces from the destruction before them.

"Arslan what is happening?" Victoria tugged at him.

"Skirmishes up front , I bet its our scouts. Dont worry we won't be fighting until we find the orc army". He confidently assured her.

Soon after the army stopped and messengers were went to them. They are to stop here amd prepare for tomorrow, The orc army was found camped about 20 miles away from them. The orc army knows they are here now amd the skirmishes were becoming more violent and ferocious.

That night Arslan started doing his rounds with the recruits making sure they were gonna be ready in the upcoming battle, the veterans were there too giving pointers to them.

Everyone was worried tomorrow they're going to fave about 10,000 orcs. This was the first major engagement they had with the orc nation and everyone was worried, they new many people would die.

As everyone was doing their own thing in the camp they started hearing drum beats in the distance, scouts were sent and to their surprised the orcs were celebrating , it was an ill foreboding for the army.

"Don't worry everyone, they are just trying to rattle us" Arslan directed everyone's attention towards him.

"They are like us , trust me they bleed they die" he pointed towards the horizon.

"He's right" Sandra with confidence walked beaide Arslan, then she started recounting the things Arslan has done on their patrol.

"They're right we should not be afraid" Victoria. even though she was frightened mustred up her confidence.

"I say we answer them back" Arslan directed for ale and musical instruments to be taken out.

Theit camp started a melody and then people started showing up in their camp looking at the merry making This camp was doing answering the orcs and people started joining in, one by one the merry making spread throughout the whole army.
