Horizons Fantasy

It has been 3 weeks since Arslan stayed at chag and he became a well known resident in the village, He has gotten to know the small village of 400 people, the village is one of the many villages surrounding the kingdom of Seamouth a small human kingdom surrounded by other kingdoms. She was surrounded by 2 human kingdoms to the west and south and the very ferocious orc nation in the north.

He has been helping the town by using his 2 sub class , blacksmith and alchemist. He was repairing the weapons and armor of the villages and he set up a small alchemy shack beside the small house he was currently staying in. Luckily the when he does something information pops out and instruct him of what to do. The residents were in awe of his skills especially alchemy the potions he made were remarkable. A regular potion healed and rejuvinates the person , people could not be live it.

As he was hammering a helmet back in shape.

"Are you almost done?" Veronica yelled outside the blacksmiths shop.

"Yeah just final touches" Arslan grabbed a small hammer and started hammering inside the helmet and it was done. The way his subclass worked here was amazing jobs that usually takes hours took him minutes to finish.

"Done" as Arslan walked out the blacksmiths shop.

"Finally!" Victoria pouted at him.

Arslan and Victoria walked towards the practice field , today he was supposed to help the Lead warrior Grugus with the training of new warriors and victoria as decided by Casandra her mother that she trained by the sword. The forest surrounding the village were full of monsters and since the village was so poor that they have to subjugate the monster themselves , there were plenty of loot from the pirate ship but the village didn't want to spend the hard earned rewards on adventurers unless they have too.

"Hey you two are finally here" Sandra who was in the outskirts of the village ran towards them.

"I had to finish the armors" Arslan shrugged.

" So are you ready?" Sandra walked them towards the head warrior.

"We'ready!" Victoria smilled and was brimming with energy, she has been training with the recruits for 3 weeks now and was ready to prove herself.

Arslan shook hands with the head warrior Grugus, their role today was take the recruits to the forest to subjugate the monsters in the area . Most of the monsters in the surrounding country side were goblins that Arslan haven't fough for a long time since they were low level monsters but still for the safety of the recruits he was voluntold to participate in this event.

"There will be 30 recruits participating today , watch each others backs. We 3 will demonstrate how to kill goblins , pay close attention to your situation and pay attention to each other and since everyone is here grab your gear and lets move out". Grugus the head warrior explained then beckond.

They headed to the forest but could not find no goblins so Arslan proposed a better Idea and took charge of the party , they searched until they found a cavern that Arslan liked then he demonstrated how to started a fire outside the cavern and the fanned the smoke towards the cavern opening. Sandra and Brutus did not expect such a result.

"Will this really work?" Grugus sounded unconvince.

"I know what I'm doing trust me" Arslan voiced his confidence and not long after

They heard sounds of footsteps and small tigh sounding commotion coming towards them. Arslan instructed Sandra and Grugus to back away with him to create a small space for the recruits to see what they were doing, he also instructed them to move closer to the children while he demonstrate and since he looked like he knew what he was doing Sandra and Brutus concievwd the stage to him.

Suddenly a surge of goblins came out of the cavern, they looked like small green children. The goblins had axes, swords, shields and even clubs with them, they saw the warriors in the opening and rushed them. Arslan stood his ground and were surrounded by the goblins in numbers , Sandra and Grcus was about to move in when Arslan stopped them.

"Let them attack, lesson begins right now " he sudden lunge at the nearest goblin in a smooth motion.

Arslan slowly attacked and parried , blocked then maneuvered while explaining the concept of offense and defense to the recruits. He was moving like the ocean smooth yet powerful.

" If there are any questions , ask away" as he sidestepped to avoid a club.

Sandra , Grugus , and the recruits were wide eyed as they look at this young man fight the goblins while teaching. The students eventually calmed down after a couple of minutes and started asking questions, Arslan demonstrated what they should do killing a small number of goblins as an example.After all the questions were done all the goblins look like they were falling from exhaustion and that's when Arslan chimmed for everyone to get ready.

"Get into formation!" Grugus instructed the recruits.

" Here! come here!, do not be afraid we will be with you! , do not hesitate or you will die" Sandra was putting the line in order.

Arslan started chuckling about them dying the goblins were exhausted. After the formation was finished the recruits were given the order

to charge and they rushed the goblins in formation, The goblins were so tired that they were finished easily by the recruits. Sandra and Brutus copied Arslan way of teaching and offered some pointers to the recruits all the while helping them kill the goblins.

"Such an ingenious way to teach the recruits" Grugus patted Arslan on the shoulders.

"Did you see how I stabbed that goblin!" Victoria who had the most kills was elivated by her first combat.

"Hahaha you see what my little sister has done!" Sandra who was a proud sister ran towards Arslan with bragging rights.

" Were not done yet! , we will do cavern after cavern until the sun sets this will be your training today and plus we get to subjugate the forest". Arslan grabbed everyones attention and the recruits started getting into formation as happy as they can be.
