“Uh, huh?”

“I can’t carry you with them conveniently. It’s okay now, so please come to me.”

Blinking her eyes, Fidelis approached Hakan in front of her, and he gently grabbed her waist and lifted her up.

Looking at the floating lantern and sickle, Fidelis was puzzled by one fact, ‘Why didn’t you do it from the start?’

“I can do it from the start.”

“Well, then wouldn’t Hakan be more comfortable if I could do that with magic too?”

“No. I’m more comfortable with this one. Are you feeling uncomfortable?”

Fidelis, desperate for human’s warmth, shook her head in a hurry. Hakan hugged her again with a satisfied face and reopened the door, which she couldn’t open. As she looked at Hakan rummaging around without asking a question, she thought he was a really strange person.

He was very nice to me even though it was the first time I had met him, and if I was troubled by a question, he apologized and never asked again.

He continued to carry me around because I didn’t wear shoes, and he didn’t ask, even though it was questionable that I went to pick up a scythe, shaking my body with fear and sweating my palms. Hakan was the first person to be kind to me like this.

In fact, there was a reason why Fidelis, who was trembling in fear, rushed to the skeleton as soon as she saw the scythe. She ran to get the scythe because of the hint she received as a reward for clearing the event after protecting Russell successfully.

The hint said, ‘It’s a sickle that can open something.’

I don’t know what kind of scythe it is, but once I saw the scythe, I had to recklessly collect them all.

Not long after, a skeleton came with a sickle.

It was bigger than I thought, but I thought it would be strange to have a sickle of a normal size in this unusual environment.

“Hey, Hakan.”

“Yes.”

“Why don’t you ask?”

Hakan’s hand stopped rummaging around the room and he met his eyes with Fidelis.

“What?”

“I suddenly ran an… .”

“I think you will be in trouble if I ask you. I don’t want to trouble Fidelis.”

He lightly patted Fidelis’ white cheek and started looking around the room again. He tried to open the wardrobe and, without fear, easily lifted the bed and looked at the bottom.

Meanwhile, he didn’t touch the window.

Fidelis glanced at the window. Hakan sensed her gaze and shoved his fist into the window, but there was only a click and no cracks.

“Well, why… .”

“I think you still have regrets. But, the only way out of every door is to lift the curse.”

After kindly explaining, he started to search the room. For the window, even though it was such a sharp fist, it was clean.

“Are your hands okay?”

“Yes, thank you for your concern.”

Hakan smiled broadly. And, he opened all the drawers on the desk, checked that nothing was there, and then went outside holding Fidelis. Hakan’s hands, which had been dirty from rummaging here and there, were clean.

‘Come to think of it.’

Fidelis was astonished to find out now that she is now clean except for some wounds on her feet.

“Did Hakan do this too?”

She asked, pointing to her clean pajamas and her hands and feet.

“Yes. Unfortunately, the wounds cannot be healed.”

“No, thank you for this alone. Thank you very much… … .”

Not knowing what to do with this gratitude, Hakan gently tucked her hair behind her ear.

“What to do? But, it was you who made me move like this.”

“Yes?”

Instead of answering to Fidelis who tilted her head and asked, Hakan gently rolled his eyes and smiled.

“Where do they think this is? Did they come here to have a romantic relationship?”

Dino opened the door carefully, only showing his face slightly. Even from afar, the two of them were friendly, and having sweet conversations.

Dino didn’t hide his displeasure, and looked at Hakan and the back of Fidelis held by him.

“Hakan, that bastard is dangerous.”

After accidentally seeing their backs, Dino continued to follow them and monitor the situation. The intention was to put the two of them into a trap if given the chance. However, there was no small gap from Hakan.

And, Dino waited for Hakan to kill that woman, but he realized he had no intention of doing so. Rather, he was like a person busy carrying around cherishing a precious treasure.

As soon as he entered this mansion, Dino had already killed two participants. So, he smacked his lips as if it were a pity with this situation. It was time to try to hide his traces before Hakan found out that he chase after the two of them.

Suddenly, something in the form of a skeleton appeared, and he stopped walking and looked at the two of them.

In a situation that he thought Hakan would come forward and solve it, the woman who was being held in an awkward way came down and started running to the skeleton with trembling legs.

She didn’t have enough strength, but she smashed the skull and took it’s scythe.

Dino let out a smirk at the absurd situation. Just looking at it, it’s like ignoring a ghost with a big weapon while attaching a frightened face.

“Is she crazy?”

Dino, who was absurd at Fidelis’ fearless straightforward march, was about to turn around without any regrets, stopped abruptly. There must be a good reason for running to the skeleton even with such fear.

“Is that scythe a tool to break the curse?”

He slyly lit his eyes and decided to watch them a little longer. If that scythe was really a tool used to break the curse, it had to be stolen anyway.

To kill them as fast as possible without being noticed, he followed the two of them.

Hakan entered one room with Fidelis in one of his arms while Dino quietly kept a certain distance and waited for them.

There was no reason to teleport here anyway, so there was no need for that great Hakan to suddenly move anywhere.

“And, that white haired one.”

Dino frowned and muttered in an annoyed voice.

I honestly didn’t understand what Hakan was doing either. No, originally Hakan was a man who couldn’t be understood.

He was not interested in any man or woman, and he was known for his cruel disposition, killing everyone within his sight at his slightest distraction. He never had anyone by his side.

He’s also been told that he’s the only one who can break the curse of this mansion because he’s at the exceptional level of magic.

Hakan never smiled like that, and he was even crazy enough to kill everyone he met.

But as if all those rumors were false, he seemed to be lovingly looking at the white-haired woman in his arms.

Dino, who had even experienced before his eyes what kind of person Hakan was, couldn’t believe it. He rubbed his eyes and looked at him again.

“… Holy shit. No way.”

I don’t know if my eyes are blind or not.

But it seems to be right when I look at them cuddling like that.

While thinking about this and that, Hakan and Fidelis came out of the room. Dino stopped thinking and took another breath to look at them. Hakan walked quietly, then stopped, and looked back.

Dino, unable to avoid it, immediately made eye contact with Hakan. The cold chill and the creepy warning eyes were fixed on him.

Dino’s whole body began to tremble in his eyes, which were filled with his shape even standing from afar.

Yep, that guy was like that.

Unbelievably cruel.

Dino felt breathless.

Dino couldn’t even blink an eye because of this eerie feeling that caught him in an instant. Hakan opened his mouth without taking his eyes off him.

“If you can get a hint, don’t tell anyone else.”

“To Hakan too?”

Hakan took his eyes off Dino at the innocent voice and looked at Fidelis with affection as if he had ever done so before.

“Yes, me too.”

Hakan, who spoke kindly, turned his gaze again and looked at Dino.

“I don’t know which bugs are listening.”

Hakan’s stinging gaze began to suffocate his breath.

Panting as if he was about to die, Dino forced his motionless body to turn to avoid his gaze, and then hurriedly ran away.

“He ran away.”

“Yes? What?”

Fidelis looked over his shoulders at Hakan’s movements and rolled her eyes, but he hugged her back.

“It’s nothing.”

Dino, who was frantically running away from Hakan, tripped over his feet and fell on the floor. Taking a deep breath, he bit his lips. He knew that he made himself so stupid.

After slamming his fist in his fury to the floor, he took a black potion from his pockets. Dino stared intently at the fluttering potion, and muttered in an angry voice.

“… Do you think that I will be beaten down as like this?”

He clenched his teeth and put the black potion back into his pockets. Dino’s eyes were dyed with madness.

As we walked down the hallway, we came across a large hall. A large statue of a child was erected in the middle of the hall, and expensive artworks with figures and landscapes hung on the walls.

Sculptures and pottery were also nicely displayed, but some were horribly broken and scattered on the floor.

Fidelis gave strength to the arm that was wrapped around Hakan’s neck in a gloomy atmosphere as if something was about to come out just by looking at it.

Hakan came close to the blood-soaked statue and broke it without hesitation. Then, blood began to seep from the horribly broken statue.

“Hah!”

Fidelis took a gasp in surprise, and Hakan laughed a little. Fidelis swallowed tears inwardly because of the things that created a sense of fear that one could never get used to.

Fidelis trembled at the fact that she had rushed to the skull just thinking about the scythe earlier. Thinking about it now, it was like crazy.

Determined to break the curse and getting used to it was two different things.

“Are you scared?”

“Oh, no. Not at all.”

Hakan let out a shrill laugh as she spoke while holding her neck stiffly pretending to be strong.

He found something on the broken, bleeding statue.

He bent over and grabbed it. It was a bloody note. Hakan opened the note and read it.

Fidelis didn’t ask for it, but Hakan, who had read the note, opened up his note to her as well.

“You told me not to show the hint to anyone.”

Unknowingly glanced at the note with her desire to leave quickly, Hakan showed the note closer to her.

“That’s what I want to do. I want to show it to Fidelis.”

To Hakan, who pushed his note to her as if to read it quickly, Fidelis gave her thanks with her eyes and read it without hesitation. I want to get out of here as soon as possible, so it would have been better to have at least one more hint.

No matter how shameless I am for this hint, breaking the curse of the mansion is good for him and for me too, so Fidelis wanted to lift the curse even if it caused a lot of trouble later.
