Human Deity: The Rise Of The Arthur

Continuous bone-chilling laughter could be heard as everyone in the vicinity was trembling from fear. What kind of person could actually force a Great Sage Ranker to that extent and not suffer a single hit throughout the entire battle? The answer would be the demonic man in front of them.

The overseer kept calm and brought out 'Arthur's'. A cold wisp of air sent a shiver down their spine as the gold pouch that the overseer was holding disappeared right in front of everyone's eyes. That missing pouch appeared on 'Arthur's' hand as he walked outside the room. This speed was leagues faster than what they saw before and what they heard next made them fear him even more.

"Man, I wonder if it would be fun if I kill everyone here, kekekeke!" 'Arthur' glanced back at them and laughed sinisterly.

After exiting the room, 'Arthur' looked at the bloody arena in front of him to see if the girl was still there. His personality was even more prideful and sinister than his original personality as what Mia did was unacceptable to him. He wanted to slowly torture her until she cries out for help then heal her then keep on repeating that process until she feels numb. After that, he will find out who she treasures dearly and torture them in front of her until she can't take it anymore.

Such an evil personality, one that might exactly be worthy of being called a "Devil." Cunning, ruthless, merciless, strong and overwhelming, such as a perfect description for this person called 'Arthur'.

Unfortunately for 'Arthur', Mia was nowhere to be found within the premises. 'Arthur' didn't let it bother him as he immediately went to the person overseeing this blood filled arena to get in the queue.

The fighters in the arena right now were both A.d.u.l.t Rankers with qualifications to be called one of the strongest people in the whole warehouse. Their fight was ending with both sides seriously injured, it seemed as if both of them may be brought down with a single tap.

The man using an ax smiled widely as he took out from a hidden compartment in his clothing a pill. He then swallowed this pill and was given a major increase in energy. With this kind of energy, his enemy using a spear and shield shouted out, "An energy pill? You, you shameless bastard!"

The ax-wielding man also received the boo's of the crowd but it didn't affect him in the slightest as he slashed down on the weakened enemy and ruthlessly hacked his body down to visible pieces. The crowd didn't feel like shouting out praises but instead shouted out insults for him using a medicinal pill.

Something different occurred than the systematic challenging of the victor and that is a sudden announcement from the overseer.

"Since the number of challenges has reached a certain amount, we will be hosting a special event where all of these challengers will face each other in a battle royale where the victor may continue to challenge the standing champion. Of course with this new event, one may surrender and leave, that is if you are able to survive to get out."

"This is going to be fun, kekekeke."

Names started to get called out as people started to enter the blood-stained arena. As soon as 'Arthur's' name was called, he enthusiastically got inside the arena and started counting his prey. Everything was relatively quiet but it was soon broken as soon as a voice was called out the entire crowd screamed out in excitement, it was Mia Amir.

'Arthur's' heart started to pound as adrenaline flooded his systems, he was about to have a little bit of fun with a certain little someone.

As soon as the last person got in the arena, one would finally understand how big the arena is as it was able to fit 50 people without issue with at least giving all of them space to move in. A few mysterious people in robes went on all the sides of the circular arena and they all cast a barrier that covered the arena.

"Just like that sleazy king of theirs, huh? I am pretty sure Arthur made that king do this, I wonder how strong it actually is."

'Arthur' kept that thought to himself as he kept on gazing on Mia's every movement, in this arena the only person he is interested in is this little girl. Mia did the same towards him having the same thoughts as him, little did she know that Arthur was able to seriously injure a Great Sage Ranker to the point where he was just playing with him.

"START!"

A loud solid shout sent everyone into a state of alertness as people already started to fight. Right now, 'Arthur needed to think of a way on how he would be able to embarrass her the most in this kind of situation. A plan was then created for the sole purpose of 'Arthur's' amus.e.m.e.nt.

He first stood in the outer edges of the arena so no one really bothered to fight him as they all thought that he will just leave the moment they go after them. The fight continued with relatively little seriously injured people as they left the arena immediately as soon as they got hit.

'Arthur' was extremely smart as he observed Mia's surroundings as she fought through waves and waves of enemies trying to duel her, this was exhausting her extremely quick. From this, 'Arthur' didn't feel delighted at all instead he felt alert towards her, he knew that Mia wasn't suicidal so she obviously had something to rely on to escape the onslaught.

A couple of minutes of continuous fighting finally made her lose concentration and let herself be in front of a sword's trajectory. Before the sword hit her, it curved slightly and missed her by just half an inch. From the audience's perspective, one could say that she was lucky but to'Arthur's' eyes she was saved by a figure.

The mountainous amount of people that once filled the arena was left with 'Arthur', Mia, her guard, and 2 other people battling and having fun. 'Arthur' finally acted as he kicked those two people battling outside the barrier with so much force that one might think that they were hit by a charging beast.

"Hmph! Such an arrogant brat! It doesn't matter now since you are going to die because you are now trapped in here with me." Mia's snarky remark was ever so annoying.

"SHUT IT! Your blabbering is so damn annoying! What kind of idiot raised you to be this annoying? I literally cannot recall anyone else that is this irritating. Ohhhhh, torturing you is going to be a lot of f.u.c.k.i.n.g fun!" 'Arthur' was not like the person before who was quiet and just took everything head on from Mia's insults and did not even bear a grudge even though he was nearly killed.

Mia actually stuttered as she was not excepting this kind of remark from the person she ridiculed from before. The defeat she suffered from before made her blood boil, she swore that the man that this did to her was going to be killed to matter what. She had this much confidence because she had a Sage Ranker beside her acting as a guard.

'Arthur' just moved, not fast nor slow but just slowly walked towards her as he simply gazed into her eyes. This simple action was nothing to note of but from Mia's perspective, it was as if a "Death God" was looking at her already dead body. 'Arthur' was emitting a blood choking aura that was so thick and dense that even someone that fought through a hundred wars wouldn't be able to emit. Mia's entire body started to shake as she started to walk back.

"Ma'am, what's wrong?"

The guard beside her was a simple youth that was ordered to take care of her during this ordeal. He did not sense what was wrong so the only thing he could do was ask.

"Th-This bloody aura... don't tell you can't feel it?! I-It's so scary! I-I am leaving! Let's go, run!"

Mia didn't even wait for her guard's response as her guard started to look into the youth's eyes. What he saw when 'Arthur' looked back was pure malicious intent to kill him, merciless and unforgiving. The guard actually screamed in fear and dropped down on the floor losing his will to do anything.

"P-Please! Don't kill me! Y-You, want her right? RIGHT?! TAKE HER! Just leave me! I-I'll do anything s-so please!"

'Arthur' had perfect control using his bloody aura as he could give out as much as he needed, he could even make those with weak wills faint from the pressure. What he sent out to Mia was only 1/10th of what the guard felt. What 'Arthur' wanted Mia to experience first was the feeling of hopelessness.

"Sure! I'll leave you alone as long as you do a little favor of mine!"

"W-What is it?! I'll do it!"

"Hold down Mia to the ground. Better be quick, if she escapes then you will die."

The guard immediately moved, Mia was already within arm's reach of the barrier but due to her guard's speed she was immediately caught and brought to 'Arthur'.

"Now, strip her. We gotta show these people some entertainment, right? Am I right folks?!"

The crowd was wide-eyed as they looked at each other, the majority of the people in the crowd were savage males and in front of them was a beauty that was unreachable, as expected they all shouted, "YES!"
