Now a magic contract will allow me to make sure that Charles didn't go loose and if I play my cards right I can gain a very profitable ally. Now Charles main weakness was his family from what I knew his step-brother bullied him and his step-farther favored his own son.

I had planted a tracking spell on Charles when the event had ended to find his home easily. That's where the key of my plan lied, it would be to collect evidence on Xavier's farther, but that wouldn't be enough I had to catch him red handed, which would be a bit more trickier, I'd probably have to caste some spells on him and his son to make their behavior a bit more extreme, but I had to do it slowly so that it looked more natural and I could pressurize Charles.

Now if Charles ever came to know of this in the future I'd probably loose his trust, but I can also make him feel grateful towards me.

Now there was another reason I was doing this, yes the first was to get Charles but the second one was eliminating a future threat or maybe reducing it, it was his brother who would become the Juggernaut.

Juggernaut got his powers from a gem he found in a temple in Korea. I had plans to take it but it would probably corrupt my mind and to prevent that I would need a powerful artifact to help me but that was for another time when I was stronger.

I followed him home and saw the brutality Charles faced. His brother beat him up just because he went to the exhibition today and some of his friends saw and told they saw his nerdy brother.

I was enraged by this and used magic to make the a chair seem like Charles so that at least he's get hurt by the the broken pieces of the chair. I didn't want to go to extreme since he was still a kid.

Their parents heard the loud noise of stuff breaking so they rushed upstairs and after seeing Cain breaking a chair they immediately stopped him, I undid the illusion and Cain screamed in pain as the pain suddenly hit him, I swear to God that it was one of the most satisfying things I have seen in my life.

Charles looked very confused with the situation, I was happy with the situation so I left some spells which would record what was going on in the house and some spells or Cain and his farther which would slowly increase their violence and also reveal their true nature.

This would be a necessary evil I had to do to bring Charles to my side, he'll suffer a bit more right now but later he'll have to suffer less, hopefully.

I went back to the hotel since it had been quite late and left my body in my room and went to Kamar-Taj in my astral form to train.
