I Am A Villain

(450 years until plot start.)

My expansion in the underworld was slow as expected. Devils had low birth rates as expected but reincarnated had slightly higher. Considering how devils acted, they gathered beautiful females at first to increase the chances of birth, and enjoy themselves. This was where my plan lay, my main weapon in the underworld would be the women bearing my mark that reincarnated as devils. As I said my mark was hereditary and as such it was passed down in generations and spread little by little.

[Explanation: Power o domination that he got from Big Order is passed down the lineage. It keeps the body of the target healthy and helps it grow properly resulting in superior physique among humans and is more likely to be chosen by devils to be reincarnated.]

Everybody knows that children birthed from reincarnated devils where to be treated like trash, merely numbers, not worthy compared to the high and mighty pure-blooded devils… they would end up as servants to the 72 pillars. The children would be raised by their mothers alone, taught about me, and told to quietly enter the 72 pillars and wait for my command. While the devils would indeed have an advantage in numbers using their precious chess pieces… my control over the bearers of my mark of domination was absolute, as was their faith in me. The devils would be the faction with the highest number of spies inside them. Every-one of the devils shows at least 1 trait from the seven sins but the most common is pride and greed.

Their pride in their obedient and 'perfect' chess pieces would become their downfall.

(400 years until plot start.)

The conflict between devils couldn't be started as easily anymore without influencing what might happen in the future. There is only one more 'faction' that fulfills my requirements. The Dragons, while I call them a faction, they are solitary creatures, most simply live their life until they die in isolation and those are the ones I'm after.

'A dragon is a creature loved by the heavens. They get stronger as they age, have strong bodies, and even stronger magic. The biomass, knowledge, and physical power I can get from a dragon are all above the top. It is worth the risk.'

(300 years until plot start.)

Granted the hunting of dragons wasn't as easy as you would think. They don't have their number listed on the phonebook for starters. Finding them is difficult.

Coming up with a solution I used a simple magic sonar. It sends a much more powerful magic signal that bounces back. While the enemies can't hide from it, they will also be able to detect my magic energy and be able to tell that I am nearby.

The first dragon didn't have a special power, but he was old and powerful. This only reinforced my concerns regarding the true power hidden in this world.

(200 years until plot start)

The different Gods. I have no delusions that they won't band together to kill me once they discover my ability… I won't be able to fight so many gods. Different religions, different gods, different abilities, different hidden cards for each god. It is insane to think I can take them on by myself at this stage. My best chance is to collect abilities discreetly and then move to a different world. I can always come back but I don't know if I can always get out.

Better to get out with what I can get, than getting buried in here with the things I would want.

In a dark room, two men could be seen kneeling in front of a painting, murmuring t himself. From his attire, you could tell he held a high position, and his figure exerted an aura that made people follow.

Unknown1: " Are the preparations ready?"

Unknown2: " Yes. All our 'allies' and 'enemies' are ready to put on a show."

Unknown1: "Direct a part of the bodies to the 'special concentration camp' and label them under 'research and development'.

Unknwn2: "My Fuhrer… even if you are in agreement with other leaders, there will still be assassination attempts to end this war sooner by 3rd parties."

Hitler: "With his highness's blessing, I'll be able to survive for as long as I am needed."

Hitler turned around to look at the painting one more time. The painting depicted a King, excluding majesty, holding a sword that excluded power. Behind the King, a towering blackish-red armored figure, holding a sword standing as a guardian, two blackish-red wings extending from his back covering and protecting the King from all directions.

Hitler's eyes were fixed on the towering figure looking over the King.

(Normal School Day – Issei Hyoudou.)

(History Class)

Teacher: "…and such were the events that lead to the death of King Arthur. Any questions?"

Student: "Teacher, what about the guy being described in the recently excavated diary?"

Teacher: "Ah, you mean, the one they called 'The Bloody Angel of Camelot'? Records barely mention him, but he seems to have been the personal guard of King Arthur. He appeared sometime during the reign of King Arthur and disappeared after the King died."

Student: "That's it?"

Teacher: "Well… all of what I'm about to say is not proved to be genuine yet but in the diary, it is written that a small order of common people was created by the said individual. The purpose was to protect the kingdom from internal strife. Numerable massacres were ordered by the Bloody Angel, all of them staged as the work of the enemy. This made it possible for the people to join together in their hate for the invaders."

Student: "Is that the reason he got the name 'Bloody Angel'?"

Teacher: "Mostly, a big part of the reason is that when King Arthur died, the Bloody Angel is said to have killed the king's wife, Lady Guinevere as well as the knights inside Camelot at the time. Most think he did it as a result of their inability to protect their King while he was away."

Teacher: "That is the biggest part of his myth."

Student: "Do you mean there is more?"

Teacher: "Well, some legends and folk tales mention 'The Bloody Angel', describing him at different ages, some times helping people and sometimes ordering massacres to no end. The most popular one is 'blessing' or 'protection'. People granted this miracle from 'The Bloody Angel', in exchange for their service should he require it. Of course, this is a mere legend."

Meanwhile inside Issei's head: "Boobies, Boobies, Boobies…"
