I Am A Villain

Chapter 30 - Three Gifts For The King!

As the 3 were heading towards him, Zero took a jab at the righteous guy at the party, while inspecting each of them. Emiya was beaten up but fine overall and Saber looked quite pale. Gilgamesh on the other hand… only had one hand...

Zero: "Oh… did you lose the Irish guy? I was hoping to question him about his pot of gold. He was one tall leprechaun, definitely had a huge pot of gold stashed somewhere."

Emiya: "Are lives funny jokes to you?"

Zero: "Of course not!!! If every life was a funny joke I would have died laughing a long time ago, hahaha! "

Suddenly Gilgamesh cut in.

Gilgamesh: "Hahahaha… you indeed kept your word. This beast was indeed worth all the trouble. Why don't you serve under me?"

Saber and her servant were shocked at the offer of the King of Heroes.

Zero: "You flatter me King of Heroes, but I'll have to refuse. In exchange why don't you help me take care of the 2 left?"

As he finished Saber got ready to defend herself and her master

Gilgamesh: " On account of giving me the chance to slay such a beast this king is willing to help you. "

Zero: "Than I shall take care of Saber."

Gilgamesh: "No! She is mine!"

'I thought about playing with the so-called King of Heroes a little longer… but you are getting on my nerves.'

Zero didn't respond as he simply disappeared in a burst of speed, grabbing Shirou by the throat, taking him together with him.

As Zero approached an open area he threw Shirou across the field, using enough force to cripple a normal human, or even kill them.

'And yet… he gets up again.'

Zero: "I… am really getting tired of you."

Emiya simply raised his blades and waited for Zero to attack., when suddenly he felt something behind him.

As he turned around a familiar sword was aiming at his neck. Slowly rotating as if playing with him. Slowly approaching closer and closer Shirou was forced back towards Zero. As the sword suddenly plunged forward Emiya jumped backward, dodging the unbelievably fast sword with pure luck… only to discover something piercing him from the back.

Zero: "You know, they say that everything has a limit… I find myself agreeing on this particular case."

As Zero finished talking the sword in front of Emiya slowly started to slowly pierce his neck, and continuing until it was slowly consumed together with Emiya.

As Zero finished dealing with Emiya he set his next target.

Zero: "Now for you o King of Heroes. While I would love to have the Rinnegan for this… magic will have to do for now."

Closing one of his eyes and opening it again 3 magic circles could be seen hovering above it, slowly rotating as Zero turned his head towards the sky.

Zero: "Lock On!"

The magic circle hovering above his eyes slowly rotated, and after a while stopping one by one. Even though the target was locked on, the magic circles could still be seen shifting little by little, meaning the target was constantly moving.

'It was much easier when I moved that stupid Issei, It didn't even require a chant, just will… though I did have to put the entire area under my domain. Something else to experiment upon later.'

As Zero turned his head towards the place Saber and Gilgamesh were having their match, he activated the magic.

Zero: "Spatial Displacement!"

As Zero finished his chanting a magic circle appeared above the battlefield of the King of Knights and the King of Heroes.

(Gilgamesh – Saber Battlefield)

As Gilgamesh was fighting Saber he suddenly had a very bad feeling. Saber seemed to have felt something as well as she stopped and turned her eyes towards the other battlefield.

Saber: "Shirou!" – she said expressing her sadness.

Meanwhile, the King of Heroes was looking at a different location. He was looking above them, at the magic being gathered there.

A magic circle started to rapidly form, though this wasn't the primary concern. The magic circle formed was more than 5 times the previous one, the one used to summon the dragon called Bahamut.

As soon as it formed, it also disappeared and in its place, a meteor appeared. At first unmoving and at the next moment starting to fall.

Together with it, a voice was heard.

Zero: "O King of Heroes, I prepared for you a worthy beast to slay as a first gift. As a second gift, I offer you a beautiful lie, to die from this meteor, a worthy death for a glorious king."

Gilgamesh: "To actually think you can kill me with this, you are underestimating this king you mongrel?!"

Gilgamesh: " Come forth Ea. A stage worthy of you has been set."

While Gilgamesh was preparing Ea, Saber quickly retreated. She knew that she couldn't stop this meteor, especially now that her master had died. Her magic was slowly draining as time passed.

As Gilgamesh's attention was focused on the meteor he didn't notice the meaning behind Zero's words and neither did he notice the glint in his eyes.

The meteor slowly descended while gaining speed and Gilgames finally released the power of the sword of rupture, his most powerful weapon.

{ I speak of genesis.

The elements amalgamate, coalesce,

and bring forth the star that weaves all of creation.

Pay homage in death. Enuma Elish! }

As Gilgamesh attacked the meteor Zero also jumped into action using a newly learned and still imperfect technique.

Readying his sword, Zero repeated a short chant.

Zero: "Noble Art: Ittou Shura!" [It apparently means: Single Stroke of Hell! – from Rakudai Kishi.]

'To concentrate the living energy of one being into a single minute allows a normal human to reach superhuman levels of speed and power… what will it allow me to reach?'

'How will a technique that depends on extreme usage of stamina and physical strength cope with a body that doesn't run out of it. I look forwards to the result.'

As Zero took a step forwards time suddenly stopped.

'Reaching this level of speed... well, it's good that the biomass spent on failed experiments was worth it.'

As Gilgamesh destroyed the meteor he heard a voice coming from behind him.

Zero: "For my third and final gift… an ugly truth, you will die a death faced by many kings… a death not worthy for the King of Heroes."

As Zero finished talking, countless chains burst forward trying to stop him but before they could reach him, his sword had already pierced through Gilgamesh and the chains froze mid-air.
