I Am A Villain

[A.N: So I heard that a lot of people don't like for example 'Zero:' when he talks so I'll do a trial chapter without it, if you like it leave a comment and we'll see how well it goes. It also helps me not having to write it for every character but it might make a mess of the conversation. Anyway, we'll see. Remember 'thinking' and "talking".

One more thing, I think I went long enough without direct battles(*cough* massacres) so I'll do a little time-skip so I don't have to narrate the entire chunin exams and jump to the battle with Hashirama, Tobirama, and Orochimaru.]

Zero was currently getting ready to leave the hideout as the experiment had failed over 10 times already. This didn't mean that he gave up already. He had learned a lot regarding the creation of a being in this month, but he needed to wait for a while before he could try again. While he wasn't tired, the space around the hideout was barely hanging on. Others might not notice it but Zero could see the cracks and even some holes due to the release of power. If he wasn't careful an unintentional inter-dimensional collapse might occur.

While he didn't really care, he wasn't finished reaping the benefits of this world just yet. As he carefully observed Konoha he noticed the new arrivals. The chunin exams were around the corner and so was the gift Orochimaru was bringing for him, though Orochimaru himself was unaware of it.

Zero was concentrating hard on a very important meeting right now… with himself. That is right, currently, 2 Zeros were looking at each other.

"I have to say…"

"It is efficient…"

"But it also feels wrong…"

"I know right… I mean, just the fact that another instance of the same person exists…"

"It is an interesting concept nonetheless…"

"Indeed it is…"

"What if we…"

"I agree…"

As the clone quickly dispelled itself Zero formed another one.

"It works…" x2

"And it feels much better, I lost the d.e.s.i.r.e to annihilate you…"

"And I lost the d.e.s.i.r.e to dispel myself…"

"What do you think about the shadow monarch?"

"Further experimenting is necessary, but…"

"About 100 should be enough…"

"That would require more chakra…"

"Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen and Orochimaru will be within our grasp soon…"

"It will be more than enough then…"

"Indeed."

"This felt nice didn't it?"

"Talking to myself and not looking like an idiot? Yes, yes it did."

"Liar… it was a waste of time and you know it."

"But an interesting experience nonetheless."

"True."

As the conversation finished Zero created a few more shadow clones, sending them away with relocation magic to continue progressing on the shadow sovereign creation.

"I might not be very friendly after all…" – this was the conclusion Zero arrived at, talking to his shadow clone.

As the chunin exams flew over, Zero stood still in that one rooftop, quietly observing everything and sometimes providing 'assistance' to Sasuke. In the end, it was simply making his decisions for him quicker than Sasuke would have made them himself. At first, Zero only though of keeping history intact until he obtained Sasuke's Rinnegan but now, after experimenting about gaining the shadow Sovereign powers, Zero wanted for Sasuke to become one of his soldiers, together with this world's powerful shinobis.

'In the end, I only have 3-4 years left to actually create him as the battlefield will be the best place to gain my recruits. After all, who doesn't like a 3-sided war?'

(After 2nd phase of chunin exams.)

"So Sasuke, how did it feel to meet the Snake? And also feel free to talk, I made sure to secure the area."

"Do you mean… that guy that attacked me?"

'No his cousin, of course I mean him, did you meet another guy that launched a giant snake in your face?! Why do they always ask stupid questions… haaa, okay, remember that this is just one more insurance… channel the positivity in my voice, keep a friendly face and action.'

"Yes, do be more exact you just met the snake sannin. I want you to accept his offer."

"You want me to go with him?"

"Indeed, despite his rather questionable looks and motives… *whisper* and pedophilia. He can guide you better than your so-called teacher. The most that lazy bum is going to teach you is one technique and that is about it… but a single technique doesn't make you powerful."

'Unless it is a hypernova, then it definitely counts… just don't use it indoors.'

As Sasuke carefully thought about Zero's words he decided.

"I understand… okay, I'll go to him."

"After the chunin exam ends, he��ll find a way to contact you. At that moment you need to be ready."

As Zero finished talking he turned back to face one of his clones.

"Yeah… I'm not going to stay here and explain what we did as it would be a huge waste of time, so bye." The clone said as he dispelled himself.

Zero simply stood there as he rubbed his forehead, loo.

'While I'm used to information dump as I've been doing it for a long time, why are the clones lazy?… I still feel like there is something wrong with the clones… and by association with me.'

As Zero sorted through the information he received, he created another batch of clones to continue the experiment.

'It is becoming more and more complicated… I need more 'volunteers'.'

(Chunin Exams End – Orochimaru vs Hiruzen)

This was what Orochimaru had been waiting for all this time… so why did it feel so wrong? Something wasn't right, and it wasn't the fact that his teacher was calm, that was normal for a seasoned fighter… it was the fact that he was too cold. Had he finally decided that he was going to take this seriously and finish him?

Trying to quickly use the 'Impure World Resurrection' Orochimaru's third coffin was stopped by the shuriken.

"Not bad Sensei, but how are you going to deal with the three of us?"

As Orochimaru brought out the coffins, he saw a cruel and excited smile in the face of Hiruzen.

"You finally brought them out. I was getting tired of playing this little act.."

As Hiruzen said that, he suddenly transformed into a much younger person.

"Huh?! Who are you really, are you the decoy for the Hokage?"

"Ah, about that… I'm afraid Hiruzen Sarutobi has departed from this world., and I was the one to send him on his way."

"My Sensei was not called the god of shinobi for nothing. I would have heard if a battle occurred and it clearly would have left marks."

"There is a limit to all mortals… and Sarutobi found his when he couldn't escape this eye."

As Zero said that his right pupil quickly changed, forming Shisui's Mangekyou Sharingan.

"An Uchiha? I thought you were last to your 2 members."

"Don't put me so down as being in that emo clan… though the eye is a nice plus."

Looking silently at Orochimaru Zero thought fo what kind of a soldier he would make… so he decided to make an offer.

"Orochimaru… say, why don't you work for me?"

"And what reason would I have to do that?" – Orochimaru asked amused.

"The simple fact that I am more than 1000 years old should be enough of an incitive shouldn't it?"

Orochimaru looked much more serious now.

"And how do I know you are not lying, I have never heard of you before."

"Hm… how about I give you an example of my powers so that you see I have no reason to lie. What if I were to… resurrect the Hokages you just brought back?"

At that sentence, Orochimaru's eyes opened wide.

[Orochimaru will either end up as a shadow soldier, or might just keep him normal just because he is a beast with genetic research and a big plus to the system experiment on DxD. Imagine bringing him some modern equipment!!! He might even create a bloodline on his own. In either case Zero will be doing some major dominating on his brain. Call him crazy or whatever you want, but i legit think this guy is a genius.]
