I Can Record Wonders

Belated Remarks On The Launch

Belated Reflections on the Release

First, let me admit my mistake.

Although it was a release, I only updated three chapters, without even a sense of ceremony.

To be honest, even I couldn't bear to read it.

I thought about how to defend myself. Hmm, I had a sore throat.

This past month, I have truly suffered from a sore throat.

Coughing, difficulty breathing, dizziness, and headaches. I couldn't bear it anymore and went to the hospital for a barium meal.

The doctor said it was gastroesophageal reflux and pharyngitis.

Wow, I've been feeling uncomfortable for a month, and it turns out it's a problem with my stomach...

General MacArthur said, "Strong people never complain about the environment."

As a web novel writer who can't even update, what's the point of complaining?

So in the days to come, I will quickly recover and strive to improve the updates, not disappointing the expectations of my readers.

Later in the comments section, I will explain the rules for additional updates.

After talking about the updates, let's talk about the content.

In terms of setting, the setting of this book can be considered a highlight.

Including: wonders, Origin Spirit, Scenic Palace, Inner Scenic Diagram, Three Lives Division, Spirit Organ, powerhouses, True Monarch, Tai Sui, and so on.

These seemingly simple settings sometimes take a long time to figure out.

And the more you write, the more complex the setting becomes.

I try my best to control the description of the setting, integrating it into the plot, presenting readers with a fresh perspective.

In terms of plot, I have a major flaw in my writing.

I like to write long plots, leaving foreshadowing, so the pace is slow.

Actually, most of the flaws in this book are concentrated in the first twenty chapters. The plot seems too plain, and the focus is weak.

Before starting the book, I also thought about where to begin.

In the end, I decided to start with Spirit Turtle Island.

Although the plot may seem a bit plain, there are actually foreshadowings behind each segment of the plot.

Why did the Three Lives Division wither? Why did the protagonist appear in the South Sea? Where did Ancestral Master Ling Cong go? Which organization is behind the envoy?

And also: Yun Niang's background, the Floating Map, the Four Great Families, Mr. Hua, the Spirit Land, Moonshadow Grass, and so on.

Writing long plots makes the main storyline more coherent, but the consequence is that the payoffs are slow, and sometimes it's hard to get into the story.

In the future, I will try to avoid this writing style and use shorter plots instead.

As for the future of the protagonist, he will gradually transform into an independent person.

By independent, I mean not relying on sects, taking in the Three Lives Division, revitalizing the Three Lives Division, establishing his own organization, and having his own domain, and so on.

I reflect on myself three times a day.

Updates, settings, and plots are the three things I reflect on as an author.

After reflecting, it's time to express gratitude.

I thank my editor, Bacon, and all the readers who have accompanied me along the way.

This book has gone through four recommendations and finally made it onto Sanjiang.

It couldn't have happened without everyone's recognition and support.

After careful consideration, the only way I can repay you is by updating more and being more innovative.

I won't dwell on the rest. It mainly depends on my performance.

That's all.

PS: Today, there will still be three updates, one in the morning and two in the afternoon.
