Hearing Elric say this Michael was left visibly stunned, and seeing him stunned the corners of Elric's lips curved slightlbviously judging from posture Michaels current posture with the sword as well as his earlier demeanour, Elric could tell that he was hoping they put up some resistance so he could brandish his swornfortunately, Elric wasn't in the mood to let him have is way

"George! Alvin! Davis! Let's go with them, and remember not to cause my trouble while you're at it"

Hearing Elric day this the three of them quickly rose their hands indicating their surrendeeeing them surrender so fast the corners of Michael's mouth twitched slightly

"Fine let's go!"

Without thinking too much about it Michael decided to put them in prison first to hold them before the execution time, according to his thoughts no matter what the plan was they couldn't make any waves in prison

"Although I don't know what the four of you discussed earlier however don't let it be too boring, maybe I can use this as an opportunity to showcase my lord's power"

Leading them out of the room Micheal whispered in a voice that only Elric could hear clearly stating his contempt for them and rather hoping they tried to escapowever, just when Micheal thought that Elric would lash out at him for looking down on him, to his surprise Elric just raised his head slightly still ever smiling

"Don't worry Micheal you definitely won't be disappointed"

After saying that Elric continued to move forward following the inquisitions teams lead

"Damn demon, let's see how long you can maintain your smile!"

Realising that he wasn't being taken seriously Micheal couldn't help but curse out determined to put Elric in place once he had the opportunity.

Soon under Michael's lead they successfully reached the town prison

"Stop!"

Standing in front of them was a somewhat Middle aged man holding what looked to be a cigar in his right hand and wearing a silver chainmail armour

"Warden John, we've brought back the demon king and his generals!"

"We'll leave it up to you from here!"

After saying that with a light salute, Micheal gave one last glance to Elric before leaving together with his team

"So if it isn't the demon king and his generals, I have just the place for you"

"Don't worry, your minions are in a separate cell now follow me"

Without even taking a second glance at the warden Immediately led them into the jail while not forgetting to mock them from time to time, obviously he knew that the whole demon gimmick was just a false name that the church put on them to implicate thet's just that this kind of thing is only useful for people who don't know anything unlike him who gets all kinds of prisoners every day both the innocent and not innocenntering the prison all kinds of people could be seen, some with chains tied all over their bodies leaving only their eyes and mouth exposed, others frozen completely downwards leaving only their head visiblefore he knew it Elric and the rest had passed a lot of criminals before reaching the end of their destination

"We're here!" Shouted the warden pointing to a large cell to their left, after saying that he started looking for his keys.

"Haha you're an extraordinary young man aren't you?"

As Elric was waiting for the cell to be open, he suddenly heard a voice attracting his attention, unfortunately after turning to peek at Davis and the rest's reaction it seemed they hadn't heard anything

"Who's there!"

Whispering under his breath Elric warily began to search for the direction the voice came from

"Haha don't bother, this old man is talking directly to your mind!"<novelnext></novelnext>

"Amazing ain't it?"

Just as Elric was about to continue searching, the voice accompanied by a burst of hearty laughter once again resounded in his earowever this time, after calming down Elric realised what the voice said was true. Taking a deep breath Elric decided to try and talk to the voice through his mind

"Haha yes senior, it is amazing"

"However, may I know what this senior means by suddenly talking to me or how you did it?"

Although he didn't fully trust the voice, Elric couldn't help but be curious about how this was made possible, so without thinking he asked the question on his mind

"..."

Silence…..

Just when Elric was about to apologise thinking he asked a question he shouldn't ask, the voice suddenly spoke again

"Sure thing, I can teach you how this is possible as long as you give me that book floating in your soul"

*Boom!*

As soon as Elric heard the voice say this his mind seemed to explodbviously his spell book as well as soul space were one of his greatest secrets and whole cards however whoever the voice belonged to seemed to be able completely see through him

"Calm down boy, the warden is looking at you, if your curious how I can see through you, let's talk more once you get into the cell"

Hearing the voice say this, it was then that Elric realised that his sudden change had attracted everyone's attention

*Achoo!*

"Sorry you guys I think I might be coming down with a cold"

Pretending to sneeze, Elric scratched the back of his head awkwardly hoping to divert their attention, thankfully the warden didn't seem to think too much and after giving Elric a deep look he proceeded to open the cell.

*Ka-cha!*

With two turns the cell was opened revealing an empty room.

"Umm, mister warden? What if we had to go to the bathroom?"

Realising there was no toilet George quickly as the warded who had already locked them in and was about to leave

"Hahaha funny question, since when do demons need to go to the toilet?"

With laughter clearly full of sarcasm the warden left completely ignoring George's calls

"Damn worden! If not for the plan I'd definitely feed you a fireball!"

Watching him go, George could only grumble unwillingly

*Ahem*

"you guys go get some rest, remember we have to save enough energy for the plan tomorrow"

Noticing the warden had left Elric Immediately ordered the three of them to go rest as he couldn't wait to speak to the voice in his head.

Thankfully none of them disagreed probably because they were tired from the journey to town and quickly when to find a spot to reseeing the three of them find a place to lie down, Elric followed suit after which with a serious expression he spoke to the voice in his mind

"So old man, let's start again, who in Elias are you?"

Saying that Elric calmly waited for his reply though he had some guesses already
