As soon as the referee had shouted for them to begin Jian rushed towards Tian Long with his sword.

"HAAAA"

Shouting out with vigor Jian intending to cut Tian Long in half. Tian Long fl.u.s.tered stumbled out of the way as he didn't think one of the challengers could use intent, which bolsters there attacking power or defense by manifolds. Tian Long knew that he couldn't approach this fight like usual, becoming serious he looks towards Jian who had recollected himself after missing and was about to slash at him again. Not letting him get the advantage again Tian Long uses his ability Dragon Domain pressuring his opponent mentally decreasing the amount of power they can show in the battle.

Pressured by Tian Long's domain Jian can no longer fight at full capacity which means he is now only on par with ordinary Level 9's. However Jian does not falter and continues to brandish his sword swinging it again and again trying to cut Tian Long apart. Defending himself Tian Long is cursing Sarah in his heart as the guy in front of him just won't give him ant chance to counter. Minutes pass by with thie deadlock of Jian attacking and Tian Long defending, yet another half na hour passed and Jian is perspiring and panting as his stamina begins to drain. Tian Long still full of vitality and stamina takes the chance to counter when Jian makes a faulty swing and chops Jians wrist making him drop his sword. Assured of victory as he sees Jian's fl.u.s.tered expression Tian Long takes this chance to finish the match.

"Azure Dragon's Claw" Calmly stating his moves name swipes his right arm towards Jian with his hand in the shape of a claw. Watching on as Tian Long's hand makes it way towards him him Jian believes it is the end as he can't muster up enough strength to defend against the attack by crossing his arms in front of himself. Closing his eyes just before he believes he will be hit, however he doesn't feel any impact and this continues for another two seconds before Jian opens his eyes and sees Tian Long just standing there and hears him asking him if he would rather give up. Although he felt his pride had taken a hit from the question Jian accepts his defeat as he knew that he would have been seriously injured if not dead from that last attack Tian Long used.

Pleased that Jian had accepted his defeat and had not flared up because of his pride Sarah intercepts him before he leaves and asks if he would like to follow her and become her bodyguard. Whilst all this was happening Tian Long was still accepting challenges and earning her money. Jian thinking that she had a noble background didn't hesitate to accept her proposal and ended up joining Sarah in the stands. Once he was there she explained to him that because of clan rules that she had been left to her own devices and that she wasn't receiving any monetary support which is why she had to set up prices for finding her suitor as she was supposed to find her chosen one and learn how to survive in the outside in the outside world.

Surprised by the peculiar rules of her clan he just put it to the back of his head as upper society things which he wouldn't understand. Slightly turned away at the prospect of not earning much Jian almost left however his instinct told him that staying would be the better choice. Trusting his instinct he decided to stay. Sarah was actually surprised at the fact he had stayed even when she had told him that he may not get a high earning by following her, unknown to her she had let off a smile which happened to coincide with a gust of wind blowing over the arena. Dazed half the crowd which saw her smile would remember this moment for the rest of their life as they saw the most dazzling smile they have seen in their life so far.

Tian Long realised something had happened and only manged to catch a brief glance at her smile. Annoyed that they all got to see her smile Tian Long had gained a new ferocity when fighting. Three hours had passed and Tian Long was finally on his last opponent. The opponent had a cloak that hid their face and their body which made it hard to discern their figure. Shouting begin again the referee once again takes his leave of the stadium.

Tian Long wary of the stranger in front of him he circles around them so he can scope out their power from what they do once they lose their patience and begin to try and attack him. Tian Long's thinking would be correct if he had faced any other person however this stranger had an inordinate amount of patience as they just stayed in the same spot not moving whilst he runs about them making the match a patience game.

~half an hour later~

Still staying where they stand the stanger has yet to move a muscle whilst Tian Long wastes his stamina running around her. Tian Long not wanting to wait anymore as he is running out of stamina after nearly half a day of non-stop fighting rushes straight towards his opponent. Finally reacting the opponent lifts their head up and Tian Long notices a glowing pair of glowing slitted green eyes. Feeling something he looks down to see that his right arm has become stone whilst the rest of his body becomes stone the longer the opponent stares at him. At first he tried to shake off their eyesight towards him however he couldn't move well enough thanks to the increasing weight weighing him down. Just as he had reached the opponent he had stopped moving which confused him however he could no longer look down as even his neck had been petrified and next was his head. Now on the arena was a cloaked figure staring at what others would believe to be a lifelike statue of Tian Long.
